It's been a long struggle for Lily Allen, but the British singer announced the exciting news today: she's a new mother!

The singer - who suffered a miscarriage in both 2008 and 2010 - and husband Sam Cooper welcomed a daughter today, as Allen expressed her feelings on the matter in via a simple Tweet: “Totes Amaze."

Cooper proposed to Allen on Christmas Day 2010. They got married in June and we couldn't be happier for the new family!

The British singer and her long-time boyfriend got married in Gloucestershire, England today. Allen was walked down the aisle by her father and donned a gown by French designer Dephine Manivet. Check it out here:

Cooper proposed to Allen on Christmas Day while on vacation in Bali. The wedding comes a few months after Allen suffered her second miscarriage, but sources now say the crooner is pregnant again.

In a new British documentary that chronicles her life from March through October of 2010, Lily Allen opens up about two personal, troubling issues: an eating disorder and a miscarriage.

The latter event, the second for the young singer, took place in the fall of last year and Allen says of dealing with the repercussions: "It was a really long battle. I think that kind of thing changes a person."

The 25-year old also goes into detail about her past struggle with an eating disorder, admitting: "I used to vomit after meals. It's not something I'm proud of. But, I tell you what, a lot of people came up to me telling me how great I looked and I'd be on the cover of every magazine.

"'I thought I looked good and it was great to be able to try on clothes and feel a million dollars. But I wasn't happy."

Engaged to Sam Cooper, Allen now seems to have the right perspective, spouting in her own unique way: "I'm a pop star, not a model. Don't make me feel shit for not being really skinny."

A terrible 2010 has reportedly ended in joyous fashion for Lily Allen: the British singer is engaged to Sam Cooper!

According to The Daily Mail, Cooper shocked Allen with a proposal in Bali on Christmas Day. A source tells the newspaper: "‘It all came out of the blue, but Lily was overwhelmed and they are both overjoyed. They can look to the future now."

Allen went through a couple of major obstacles in 2010. She suffered through her second miscarriage and was also hospitalized with a blood condition.

But things are now looking up for Lily and we wish her and Sam the very best!

That's the rumor going around, just weeks after tragically losing her baby six months into her pregnancy. Now magazine claims Cooper popped the question.

A friend of Allen's told the publication: "Everyone's so proud of Lily. She's made a list of how to get through what can only be described as a horrible tragedy."

Engaged or not, Lily Allen and Sam Cooper sure are happy.

"This is the most awful situation in the world and she's aware that nothing can take away the hurt she feels at losing her and Sam's baby."

"Last week, Sam told Lily he can't live without her and wants to go ahead with the wedding plans. This has given her a major boost."

So are they getting married or not?

Lily Allen really can't catch a break.

Just days after suffering her second miscarriage, the singer was rushed to the hospital on Friday for a blood condition called septicemia. With symptoms that include a fever, chills and rapid breathing, this ailment involves bacteria in the blood that can cause severe infections.

Says a rep for the artist:

"She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve. Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers."

Very sad news this week for Lily Allen: the singer has suffered her second miscarriage, this time after six months of pregnancy.

"It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby," the British singer's rep said in a statement today. "The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made."

In early August, Allen and Sam Cooper announced they were expecting a boy in January.

Tragically, this marks the artist's second such heartbreak, arriving almost three years after she went through a miscarriage during her relationship with musician Ed Simons. We wish her all the best.

A little over two years after suffering a miscarriage, Lily Allen is pregnant.

The British singer confirmed the news that long-time boyfriend Sam Cooper knocked her up by releasing the following statement:

"It brings me great pleasure to tell you that Sam and I are expecting our first child. It goes without saying we are both absolutely delighted."

We have no idea what qualifies her for such an honor. 

Could it be her Twittering like a madman (woman), proclaiming that Susan Boyle is overrated or cranking out hits on her new album It's Not Me, It's You?

Truly, we may never know the answer.

Might Miley Cyrus have competition as the world's most annoying Tweeter?

She might. English songbird Lily Allen said her boyfriend Sam Cooper gets "really, really angry" about the amount of time she spends on Twitter.

The "Smile" singer is one of the site's biggest celebrity fans, regularly posting updates and photos from tours and using it to give away tickets.

At least those are somewhat practical marketing applications of Twitter for Allen's music ... unlike shameless, desperate narcissists like Adrianne Curry.

Just the same, Lily's beau Sam Cooper is reportedly not a fan.

The 24-year-old posted Tweets of support for the England football team, and ended up as a guest on BBC radio's Test Match Special as a result.

But she told Absolute Radio that Sam Cooper, her builder boyfriend, has had very little patience with her fondness for the "social networking" site.

"My boyfriend gets really, really angry with me," Lily confesses. "Because he's just like 'I just want to spend some time with you, do we have to have one and a half million people in the room with us at the same time?'"

And there's no doubt who wins that battle, Allen says:

"I'm like 'Yes, shut up.'"
