Lil Wayne will no longer be representing Mountain Dew.

PepsiCo cut ties with its popular pitchman Friday over his controversial lyric mentioning 1950s civil rights martyr Emmett Till in the crudest of ways.

Weezy Live

"Beat that pu--y up like Emmett Till," the 30-year-old rapped on Future's "Karate Chop" remix, which was later pulled due to the offensive reference.

Weezy recently apologized for (well, acknowledged) the controversy in a letter to Emmett Till's family, but that apparently did not go far enough.

PepsiCo released a statement asserting that Weezy's "offensive reference to a revered civil rights icon does not reflect the values of our brand."

Lil Wayne sent a letter of apology to the family of Emmett Till for disparaging his name in a rap lyric, but was the apology sufficient? Or even an apology?

Lil Wayne's "Karate Chop" lyrics contained a degrading reference to the teen, whose 1955 murder became a watershed moment for the civil rights movement.

"It has come to my attention that lyrics from my contribution to a fellow artist's (Future's) song has deeply offended your family," Wayne wrote in the letter.

Said the rapper, who suffered another seizure this week in L.A., "As a father myself, I cannot imagine the pain that your family has had to endure."

Lil Wayne was hospitalized again for a seizure last night.

According to TMZ, the 30-year-old was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. late Tuesday by his bodyguards after the latest of many recent episodes.

He suffered a single seizure, was treated and released.

Cedars-Sinai M.C. was the site of Lil Wayne's near-death seizure back in March after he suffered multiple severe seizures that almost took his life.

The rapper spent six days in the ICU.

Wayne later explained that he's an epileptic, has had these seizures since he was a kid and is totally fine. He Tweeted that he's okay today, too:

Hopefully, he takes precautions so that will truly be the case. Lil Tunechi may want to start paying closer attention to his medication and lifestyle.

Lil Wayne is laughing at reports that he's in dire straits following a $3.4 million judgment against him ... 'cause frankly, that's just a drop in the bucket.

The judgment stems from Weezy suing Quincy Jones III over a documentary.

QJIII sued back, claiming Wayne screwed him out of profits from the film about the rapper by Tunechi's frivolous suit. A California jury saw it Quincy's way.

As a result, LW was hit with a seven-figure judgment ... but it ain't no thing.

Lil Wayne and Trick Daddy rekindled their ongoing beef last night at a Miami strip club, and things nearly escalated into Drake-Chris Brown territory.

It all went down at King of Diamonds Wednesday when, according to sources in the club, Weezy "started to get a bad vibe from Trick Daddy's posse."

Lil Wayne is known for many things: selling albums, taking Sizzurp, having seizures.

But Nicki Minaj tells MTV that the artist should also have a reputation for respecting women and knowing his boundaries, two traits that came out when she shot the music video (below) for "High School" with the superstar.

"He refused to touch me," Minaj says of the duo's sex scene in the video.

Nicki Minaj's "High School" music video features her mentor Lil Wayne.

This is not surprising. Him doing bad, bad things to her in the video?

That's a little unexpected.

Though it did not appear in the original music video (above), the duo later filmed a racy sex scene to add to the visuals - one that's sure to have people talking.

In the clip, Weezy and Nicki jet off to a deserted island to engage in some sort of shady deal and end up in bed together in the throes of passion.

There, they go at it in numerous positions. That's about all we've got.

Check out the racy clip after the jump!

Lil Wayne gave his fans an update after his crazy seizure scare a week ago, saying he's "more than good" and getting ready to hit the road again.

He thanked fans for their well-wishes and sad he's looking forward to getting back to performing live. The rapper said, in eloquent Weezy fashion:

Lil W

"I just wanna say thanks to y'all for all your prayers and concerns and all that. I swear to God I felt that love when I was laid up in that motherf--ker hospital bed."

"I want all of y'all to know that I'm good ... more than good."
