And not because neither star was nominated for an Academy Award.
Hemsworth reportedly showed up to a pre-Oscars party alone and proceeded to cozy up to Mad Men star January Jones. Like, REALLY cozy up to her, some witness claims to Star.
"It looked like they had some hot chemistry,” the source said of Hemsworth and Jones. “They were all over each other – and they even kissed!”
