The ads for the film have been showcasing the various songs from Jay-Z, Beyonce, Fergie, Gotye, and more.

Director Baz Luhrmann decided to commission some of today's hottest stars to comprise the soundtrack to The Great Gatsby, adapted from F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic American novel.

Leonardo DiCaprio told Germany's Bild newspaper this week that he's "a bit drained and is "going to take a long, long break" from movies.
It's understandable: the heartthrob certainly has been a busy man.
Over the last two years, DiCaprio has filmed Django Unchained (check out his Django Unchained quotes now!), The Great Gatsby and The Wolf of Wall Street, the latter two of which hit theaters this year.
Move over, Alyce Crawford. You may not have Leo to yourself. Yet.

While in Sydney filming The Great Gatsby for director Baz Luhrmann, DiCaprio has been hitting up the Beach Haus nightclub and "meeting the Aussie girls."
Hard to blame the guy.
Earlier this month, the hunky star was "really into" Alyce Crawford, a former contestant on the Australian version of America's Next Top Model. His rep denied that was a serious romance ... we suspect a similar statement here.
Still the pair had previously met in Los Angeles, so it's possible this was not the first meeting for the hot, potential twosome. Schuler's agent had no comment.

First spotted together in Monte Carlo at the Cannes Film Festival, the couple embarked on a whirlwind, super-luxe summer love-fest spanning the globe.
During their time together, the Gossip Girl actress, 24, and Inception star, 36, were surprisingly open about their romance and seen frequently in public.
The pair's recent split is sure to come as a surprise to some DiCaprio pals, one of whom told Us Weekly that they'd "never seen him like this with a girl."
They spent much of the summer at DiCaprio's L.A. home, where Lively "spent the whole time baking. Leo's never dated a girl who can cook. He's smitten!"
After going strong all summer, the duo bonded with one another's parents. Echoed another insider later this fall: "I bet they get engaged in six months."
Apparently it wasn't meant to be, though. While sad for both, we wish Leo and Blake the best ... and have little doubt they'll find someone new if they want.

At yesterday's Hollywood Foreign Press Association's luncheon in Beverly Hills, Mark Wahlberg took to the podium, looked at Leonardo DiCaprio and said:
"I'm sitting at a table with a gentleman who is better looking than you and is in better shape than me. So, we're both out of a job, dude. Taylor Lautner! We're screwed."
Wahlberg's praise flattered Lautner ("Hearing words like that from Mark and everybody it's just really surreal."), but they simply caused us to wonder: is the rapper-turned-actor correct? Which of these stars would you rather take it from?

It's no surprise that we haven't heard from Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively in some time. Both are low-fliers who tend to avoid paparazzi hot spots.
That said, it looks like they're still on! The duo went for an affectionate shopping trip together at Solstice Sunglass Boutique in Santa Barbara, Calif.
"Blake gave Leo her final approval on each pair he tried on," a source says, adding that the two "did not let go of each other the entire time."
The Gossip Girl star and her handsome companion stuck around for about 10 minutes, but rushed out of the store once a crowd noticed them.
Blake and Leo have been together since at least May.

They just wrapped up an ultra-luxe, mega-romantic jaunt on the French Riviera. What'd they do for an encore? A trip to Disneyland!
After Lively's MTV Movie Awards appearance, the star was spotted later that night with DiCaprio at the Anaheim, Calif., theme park.
According to a witness, the pair and their entourage were escorted via private entrance to the front of the line on the "StarTours" ride. Freaking figures.
The Gossip Girl starlet wore a knit smock and a face-concealing hat, while DiCaprio also kept things low key, donning jeans, windbreaker and a hat.
The group - seen taking photos of one another with their phones - enjoyed their own private ride on the Star Wars ride. Freaking figures again.
Later, with the park all but empty, the witness spotted their group "chattering and laughing" during a stroll through Disney back to their hotel.
