Grace Dunham is standing up for Lena Dunham.

The Girls actress has been accused of sexual abuse by the conservative website Truth Revolt, which sites multiple passages from Dunham's best-selling memoir as proof:

Dunham tells a story about looking into her sister's vagina when she was seven years old. Dunham says she sometimes pleasured herself as a child while sharing a bed with Grace. Dunham jokes about demanding kisses from her sibling like a "sexual predator."

In response to the claims, Dunham's attorneys sent a cease-and-desist letter to Truth Revolt, while Dunham canceled some appearances and went on a self-admitted "rage spiral" on Twitter.

Now, Grace Dunham is also speaking out against the charges.

Over the weekend, conservative website Truth Revolt accused Lena Dunham of child molestation based on an anecdote from her recent memoir, Not That Kind of Girl.

Dunham responded to the controversy by falling into a self-described "rage spiral" and denouncing her critics on Twitter.

Dunham described the accusations as "really f--king upsetting and disgusting" and she's since canceled two scheduled book tour stops in Europe.

Earlier today, Truth Revolt columnist Ben Shapiro tweeted that he had received a cease and desist order from Dunham's lawyers that threatened to sue the site for "millions of dollars" if Shapiro and company continued quoting from Dunham's book.

Lena Dunham has found one line of criticism she simply can't ignore.

The Girls star, who is no stranger to stirring up controversy (she started the #StoptheStigma campaign after NBC refused to air an ad that mentioned the word abortion) has fired back at critics who have somehow suggested she molested her little sister when both were toddlers.

The allegation stems from a story in Dunham’s best-selling memoir, “Not That Kind of Girl.”

An excerpt from that book reads:

One day, as I sat in our driveway in Long Island playing with blocks and buckets, my curiosity got the best of me. Grace was sitting up, babbling and smiling, and I leaned down between her legs and carefully spread open her vagina. She didn't resist and when I saw what was inside I shrieked.

Dunham was seven years old at the time and actually found multiple pebbles shoved up her sibling's private part.

Yes, Lena Dunham gets naked very often on the HBO hit Girls.

So one might think she's an unusual source for having such a strong opinion about the ongoing hacking scandal that has left the Internet littered with images of Kaley Cuoco nude, Jennifer Lawrence nude and many other female stars exposed.

But Dunham makes an important distinction in a new Twitter post that rails hard against the criminal at the center of this massive naked picture release.

"The way in which you share your body must be a CHOICE. Support these women and do not look at these pictures,” the 28-year-old writes.

“Remember, when you look at these pictures you are violating these women again and again. It’s not okay. Seriously, do not forget that the person who stole these pictures and leaked them is not a hacker: they’re a sex offender."

Oops. Lena Dunham's bad.

Following a Saturday Night Live skit in which the Girls star appeared naked in a parody of Adam and Eve, a critic on Twitter told Dunham she doesn't "always have to get naked," to which the actress replied:

"Please tell that to my uncle, mister. He's been making me!"

Dunham recently stood by Dylan Farrow and defended sexual assault victims, making the joke even more surprising and off-key.

She acknowledged both these points via a follow-up apology.

Lena Dunham is standing up for Dylan Farrow and, by extension, sexual assault victims everywhere.

The stepdaughter of Woody Allen alleged in an open letter to The New York Times over the weekend that the famous director abused her as a child.

She claims he took her up to the family's attic and forced himself upon her multiple times.

The accusation has hit Hollywood hard, with Farrow calling out such big names as Alec Baldwin and Cate Blanchett for continuing to work with Allen, whose publicist has labeled this claim as disgraceful and untrue.

Now, Girls creator Dunham has taken to Twitter in response to those who believe Farrow, whose claims first surfaced back in 1992, is a liar.

Lena Dunham covers the latest issue of Vogue, marking the first time this writer/producer/actress has graced the front of a national fashion magazine.

Cause for celebration, right? Or cause for celebration, according to some.

In an attempt to defend Dunham as "a woman who trumpets body positivity, Jezelbel paid $10,000 to Vogue for the star's untouched images from her new spread.

The website received them… and then printed a couple of the photos in order to depict just how the publication edited Dunham's eyes, chin, cleavage and other areas. To wit:

In the end, writs Jezebel, Dunham's pics "were not drastically altered," but "it's important to remember how unforgiving the media is when it comes to images of women."

About a week ago, Howard Stern ranted that Lena Dunham was fat and watching her engaged in sex scenes was akin to rape.

He then apologized for the diatribe and the Girls star even called in to Stern's radio show on Wednesday and the beef was squashed.

But did a joke by Dunham inadvertently create a new one?

Defending her body type, the actress said: "I'm not super-thin, but I'm thin for, like, Detroit."

She stars on Girls and now Lena Dunham is facing criticism for setting a bad example for actual girls across the country.

Not long after the Emmy nominee released an ad in favor of Barack Obama - in which she talked about how one's "first time" [voting] should be with a "a great guy... someone who really cares about and understands women" - some on the Right have fired back against Dunham.

And it's gotten personal.

"Lena Dunham allows herself to be used in this cheap, last minute attempt to be the first for young women," writes "Dunham, who was raised in a wealthy, over-sexualized household and who started therapy at age 7 must somewhat be forgiven for her role; she seems to have a thing for talking about her first time, the Obama administration was just happy to oblige."

Lena Dunham Quotes

My mother and I have a massive fight when I choose to wear a banana-printed belly shirt and pink leggings to the Vatican.

I am 20 years old and hate myself. My hair, my face, the curve of my stomach. The way my voice comes out wavering and my poems come out maudlin.
