As part of a campaign urging youth to take aim at poverty and disease, the ONE foundation has released a new ad which aired during last night's Gossip Girl.

Fittingly, that show's stars Leighton Meester, Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick took part in it, along with Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Nikki Reed of the Twilight saga.

Heroes' Hayden Panettiere, Tristan Wilds from 90210, FlashForward cast member John Cho, Tropic Thunder's Brandon Jackson and more rounded out the ad spot:

Leighton Meester usually prefers a subtle makeup palette, or very little (or none) at all. But for her recent appearance at American Eagle Outfitters in N.Y.C., the Gossip Girl actress and aspiring singer really mixed things up.

On Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester plays Blair Waldorf, a silver-spoon fed, prim and proper Upper East Side brat who sometimes shows a mean streak and sexy side.

In this month's GQ, Leighton focuses primarily on the latter half of that combination. The 23-year-old sizzles inside the magazine, as its Obsession of the Year.

With images like this, she's certainly earned that title ...

Blair Waldorf is a good girl gone very, very bad!

Whether she's making us laugh and lust after her on TV or climbing the music charts teaming up with Cobra Starship ("Good Girls Go Bad") or Robin Thicke ("Somebody to Love"), Leighton is an obssession we could definitely embrace.

Given some of the outfits she dons in this photo shoot, we doubt we're going to get many objections from male readers. Start watching Gossip Girl, guys. It's okay.

What's an NYU girl to do when she needs to impress her loyal subjects into anointing her queen? Well, getting Lady Gaga to play a private show would help!

That’s what Blair (Leighton Meester) does in an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl November 16. The pop star just filmed her performance on the CW drama.

Gaga will be performing her new single, “Bad Romance.”

“My little sister is the hugest Gossip Girl fan ever,” the dance-pop songstress, who joins Hilary Duff and Tyra Banks as guest stars this season, told People.

Many of the series' fans feel like it's been selling out a bit with the high-profile cameos and characters, but we doubt there will be much opposition to this.

Word has it that the show's all-knowing blogger/narrator voiced by Kristen Bell will post a rumor about Gaga being a hermaphrodite. Just kidding. Probably.

Leighton Meester, who scored a big hit in tandem with Cobra Starship on "Good Girls Go Bad" this summer, is now singing about finding "Somebody to Love."

Her new track debuted this morning on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM show.

"I really wanted to make something completely different than anything that's on the radio right now," Leighton told Ryan, and she may have succeeded.

"I feel like it's dancey and fun, but still laid-back, relaxed, moody and sexy."

Also featuring Robin Thicke, the track is the first single off the Gossip Girl actress' upcoming album, which she hopes will be released by the end of the year.

The 2009 Emmy nominees did not include Gossip Girl.

Two of the CW hit show's stars were present on the award show's red carpet, however, looking as glamorous (and different) as you'd expect.

Blake Lively (right) wore a sultry red gown with a plunging neckline, while Leighton Meester opted for a white, Grecian-influenced ensemble.

Rachel Bilson used to star on The OC. Leighton Meester stars on Gossip Girl. Both are cute brunettes, and both those shows were created by Josh Schwartz.

The similarities don't end there. Bilson flaunted a sheer Chris and Jaime romper while out in L.A., while Meester hit a concert in NYC in the floral one-piece.

While Gossip Girl's two million fans pale in comparison to the Twilight saga and its mobs of obsessives, the palpable chemistry of co-stars Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick reminds us a bit of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Like Robsten, fans desperately long for Leighton and Ed to be together based solely on their smokin' Gossip Girl characters, Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass.

Heck, their only problem with the (now denied) Leighton Meester sex tape was not that it was dirrrrrty, or she was underage, but that Ed was not its co-star!

The fact that both date other people (co-stars on the show, in fact) in real life is neither here nor there. Have you seen how he looks at her? Chair forever!!
