That lucky bastard Brody Jenner is apparently making the rounds with all of Hollywood's young hotties. This one might be the most controversial yet.

As we reported earlier this month, the beauty de jour is none other than Lauren Conrad. That's right, the Laguna Beach hottie and the nemesis of Jenner's ex and fellow Laguna grad, Kristin Cavallari.

The rumors of Brody Jenner and Lauren Conrad being an item were confirmed last night at Mel's Diner in Los Angeles, where they were seen cuddling. Jenner, of course, just got through with dating that skank Nicole Richie.

Reports have been swirling around that Brody and Kristin are both hanging on to hopes of reuniting. If that's the case, the latest twist in the true-life Laguna Beach soap opera is almost a guarantee that reunion won't occur.

The rivalry between Kristin and Lauren, also known as LC, dates way back to their days on Laguna Beach.

Here's the recap: Kristin stole Lauren's then-boyfriend, Stephen Colletti. Lauren got pissed. The girls haven't gotten along since.

Is this Lauren's way to get back at Kristin or is this an attempt by Brody to get Kristin's attention? Guess we'll all have to sit back and watch the drama unfold, but we do know this: Lauren has some work to do if she wants to top these Kristin Cavallari pictures.

Brody Jenner apparently has a thing for blondes. And reality TV show stars.

Specifically, hotties who match that description from Laguna Beach.

The Malibu pretty boy was spotted heading into the club Shag last night with none other than Lauren Conrad, Laguna Beach alumna and the well-known, sworn arch-nemesis of Jenner's scorching ex-girlfriend Kristin Cavallari.

While no romantic connection between the two has been established, hanging out with your ex's enemy in public is still a pretty bold move.

Also along for the evening was LC's The Hills co-star, Heidi Montag. We're not huge fans.
A spy on the Shag scene claims that Jenner was also spotted inside a bar "getting close to a mysterious dirty blonde, wavy-haired girl."

Damn! It's been recently reported that our man Brody is dating Nicole Richie, however, throughout the course of the two aforementioned incidents, the anorexic waif was nowhere in sight. Stay tuned as we try to uncover more about Jenner's supposed philandering.

So having somehow missed an episode of Laguna Beach last week, T.H. Gossip was understandably thrilled when it learned that MTV replays the previous week's show before each new episode.

We're not sure what it says about us that we were so excited about watching a re-run -- or that we now know the words to the theme song (Hilary Duff's "Coming Clean"), but let's forget about being judgmental and get down to a recap of the last two weeks, shall we?

In any case, we finally got to see Laguna Beach alum Lauren Conrad counsel her little sister, Breanna Conrad (right), about the harsh realities of Laguna life. Upset that her childhood BFF, Rocky, is now totally BFF with Tessa, Breanna invites Rocky to lunch to talk about feelings. Breanna cried. On more than one occasion.

Much as we want to like this girl, she seems kinda pathetic.

Then, to make matters worse, Breanna awkwardly shunned Rocky when she tried to be the bigger person and attend a pool party at the Conrads' ridiculous house. Sigh. Breanna clearly has a long way to go, self-confidence wise, if she wants to fill the shoes of her sister (below, now starring in her own spin-off, The Hills).

Moving on to the new episode last night, Cameron and a meathead buddy decided to accompany Tessa on a road trip to San Diego. We think Tessa went down there for some sort of modeling thing. Not really sure. What we do know is that she and Cameron got. It. On.

All the while, he's supposedly dating (and openly saying he wants to dump) Jessica Smith, Kristin Cavallari's friend. From last season. Move on, girl!

Correct us if we're wrong, but most player types who two-time girls try not to get outed. This kid is doing it on television! Not that we're criticizing Cameron. We all knows that unlike chicks, dudes who sleep around aren't sluts. They're awesome!!

When these two collide... there is bound to be mad drama in the house! Yup, we're talking about Laguna Beach babes and alumni Lauren Conrad (left) and Kristin Cavallari. Both were in fine, preppy form at the Lacoste fashion show Saturday in New York.

The two, who were bitter rivals on Laguna Beach (and not always for the clearest reasons), reportedly both sat in the front row, but separately. Witnesses say they exchanged icy glares. The plot thickens! It was not reported whether the underage Cavallari was boozing.

In other Laguna Beach alumni news, Jason Wahler (Lauren's ex, who appeared on The Hills as well as Laguna Beach) was apparently arrested in New York City on September 1, at 4:34 a.m., in New York City. He was charged with three counts of bribery, criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

If you're wondering how J-Wahl took that breakup with LC, well, you may have your answer. He's also just a freaking moron.

By all accounts, the VMAs this year were hella weak. Fortunately, some mad insane drama went down at the New York club Snitch on the eve of the show.

We're talking about our favorite pair of Laguna Beach alums. Meathead bad boy Jason Wahler kept bumping into ex-girlfriend Lauren Conrad, a.k.a. LC, which was awkward enough before he got to second base with some bottle blonde skank right in front of her.

The pair, which broke up after The Hills finale, has been on edge since, with this incident only throwing gasoline on the fire. When he noticed Lauren during the act, Jason hastily removed himself and landed practically in the lap of a New York Daily News gossip sleuth, who of course gives us the full rundown.

LC started squealing to her Hills pal Heidi Montag and then sent a rep from MTV to ask the girl if she was "with" Jason. She was then ordered by one of his buddies to "get away from him."

LC soon stormed off to another party at Tenjune. Somewhere, Kristin Cavallari is smiling.

That wasn't it for Jason, however. He sloppily continued his hookup, then offered a stranger $5 for two cigarettes. When he was rejected, he then asked to borrow $2 so he could buy his own pack. What can we say? The dude is a math genius.

Want the inside scoop on the breakup between Laguna Beach alumni Lauren Conrad and boyfriend Jason Wahler? You know, the one that happened sometime after the season finale of The Hills, but that wasn't shown on TV?

Well, who better to deliver the news, albeit in disjointed, convoluted fashion, than Jason himself. On his myspace blog, he details the rumors... the turmoil... the drama... the anguish... *sniff*

Frankly, MTV bad boy Jason (right) always struck the editors at T.H. Gossip as a bit of a drama queen, not a very good boyfriend to Lauren, and a self-centered meathead. With circa 1996 frosted hair. But that's just us, and beside the point.

Here's excerpts from his blog, if you want to know Jason's take on LC, their breakup, and life in general. If there's one thing we learned from it, it's that being rich does not necessarily guarantee you a good education in this country. And that just because you write many paragraphs about something does not mean they contain anything useful. Note that below is the abridged version...

"Alright so in the past week I've recieved [sic] tons of comments and emails saying things basically referring to Lauren & Mine's [sic] relationship. First and foremost its obviously non [sic] of your business, But theres been scandals/reports of people saying different things of why we broke up and so on....

... Let me first begin this by saying Lauren and I are not together anymore. The media has gotten the biggest kick out of it and so on. And as they seem to call it 'funny' I dont think its very funny myself... Their [sic] saying I went phycho [sic] and she broke it off with me, I was flirting with girls and so on... The next paragraph will explain the true and honest story.

... Starting around Mid/Late July after we got back from our trip, we just constantly started arguing. I'd call her and she'd be busy and couldn't talk, so she'd call me later and I didn't have time to talk. And that basically went on for about a week. Then when we finally found the time to be around each other, things just seemed to slowly drift apart.

... It's not that we didnt wanna be around each other, we just simply had nothing really to say. So withen [sic] the next week we hung out a couple times and every time we hung out it just got further and further apart to the part where it just looked like we didnt even know each other. So I basically went up to Laguna for the weekend and when I came back to Los Angeles things have just compleetly [sic] changed.

... Then all it took was me to say "so is this the end" and thats when the downpour came. We constantly fought and argued for about a week, until we just decided that we couldnt be together anymore, and our relationship just wasnt working. I was out at clubs partying, and she was doing the same and our trust for each other faded. Either way you put the relationship, it wasn't my fault, and it wasn't her fault. It just happened that way, and I'm sorry that it had too but it was the best for both of us.

... To be honest and truthfull [sic] saying goodbye to a relationship that had lasted to long with a person that I cared so much for, hurt more than anything. I would have given it all to make it work, but I put my best effort foreward [sic] and so did she and sometimes things just don't always work out the way you plan for them too.

... The only thing you can do is save their memories, keep them in your heart, and move on with your life. Which is exactly what I'm going to do. No matter what happens in life I'll always wish Lauren the best and I really hope she finds 'the one' I'm just sorry I wasnt it.

... As far as the future looks as of right now, there really isn't much of a chance for use to be together again. We're both moving foreward [sic], and hoping for the best. As of right now were just 'friends' were not good friends and were not enemys [sic].

... We dont ignore each other, but yet again we dont go out of our way to hang out. I still love her more than anything, she was my first true love. I wish her nothing but hapiness and success in life and her career.

... Maybey [sic] after the reading of this you will see me more than just 'laguna beaches [sic] bad boy' ... or at least id [sic] hope so."

With their respective boyfriends, that is. Although the former Laguna Beach stars, whose ongoing feud is well-documented, have definitely broken up numerous times, in a manner of speaking. We're saying there's no love lost between the Cali cuties!

In any case, Kristin Cavallari (right) has split with boyfriend Brody Jenner, People magazine confirms, while Lauren Conrad (below) has ended things with Jason Wahler, her beau on both Laguna Beach and The Hills, according to Teen People.

"Yes, Brody and I broke up. It's just hard right now because I am working all the time. We're still good friends though," Cavallari, 19, said.

The off-and-on couple, who met through Laguna Beach co-star Talan Torriero, originally broke up in the fall, but got back together shortly after.

In between spending time with Jenner, 22, Cavallari was spotted several times with rebound-tang crazed Nick Lachey, but friends say it was never anything serious. Cavallari described her romance with Jenner, the son of Olympian Bruce Jenner and a Guess model, as her first mature relationship.

"He's good-looking and he makes me laugh for hours," she told Teen People.

Cavallari, whose fame has rocketed since the second season of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, recently wrapped her film Fingerprints, and is now shooting Spring Breakdown. Both are slated for release next year.

Meanwhile, Lauren "LC" Conrad, 19, confirms she is no longer with Jason â€" even after she made the dubious decision to stay in California with him, rather than take an internship in Paris, on the season finale of The Hills.

On Laguna Beach, LC ended things with Jason, 20, after catching him kissing his ex-girlfriend, Jessica Smith, 18.

But for some reason, the two got back together shortly thereafter, and he was a regular presence on The Hills, her Laguna spin-off.

Lauren's younger sister, Breanna Conrad, 16, heads up an all-new cast of Laguna Beach, which makes its premiere August 16 on MTV.

If history is any indication, the much-anticipated Season 3 should provide tons of drama, some scandalous hooking up, underage drinking, a lot of gossip and ample hanging out at the beach.

Lauren Conrad, former Laguna Beach cutie and current star of The Hills (right) isn't ready to live her life off-camera just yet.

MTV has ordered a second season of the not-entirely-scripted series that follows Lauren as she moves to Los Angeles and attempts to start her own adult life. Several of Lauren's friends have also assumed starring roles on the show, in the same vein as Laguna's ensemble cast.

This season, Lauren's transition into the real world meant an internship at Teen Vogue, new friends, struggling to balance her career and personal life, and an on-and-off romance with fellow Laguna alum Jason. After initial success with the 10-episode first season, MTV is excited to be bringing it back for another round.

"The Hills took our audience on an exciting ride told through the eyes of four young ladies trying to survive in L.A.," said Lois Curren, MTV's Head of Programming. "The series really connected with our viewers, so it was an easy decision to bring it back for another season, and we are delighted to continue working with the cast as we showcase the next stage of all their lives."

The Hills has become one of MTV's most popular shows since its May debut, drawing about 2 million viewers per week in the target demographic of teens and young adults. The show also generates heavy traffic on MTV's website and its broadband channel, Overdrive.

Laguna Beach fans first got to know Lauren as the sworn enemy (for no apparent reason) of co-star Kristin Cavallari. The first season of The Hills ends Wednesday, with Lauren facing the tough decision of whether to go on a work-related trip to Paris, or stay home and rent a house with Jason.

Lauren Conrad, a.k.a. "LC," made a big splash on MTV's Laguna Beach last summer. After graduating from Laguna Beach (the high school and the show), she landed the lead role in a new spin-off, The Hills, which just made its debut. The series chronicles LC's efforts to break into a career in the fashion industry, starting with an internship at Teen Vogue, as well as her drama-filled personal life.

TV GUIDE: With issues such as taking the NYC job versus staying in school, are you torn between advising Heidi as a best friend and doing something else that might offer more drama for the show?
LC: You know what, especially with this school? You can always go back. Like, I can take a year off and go back and it's not a big deal at all. That's how that program is set up. So it's not a huge deal that she didn't go. I was bummed because she had moved out here [to Los Angeles] to [attend the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising] with me and didn't even give it a chance, but….

TV GUIDE: But by and large, do you ever find yourself playing to the cameras?
LC: No, I don't like it when people do that. It's almost insulting when you fake it because people can tell, and you're making them think you think they can't tell.

TV GUIDE: Why'd you hang up on Heidi last week if you're supposed to be best friends?
LC: I actually didn't hang up on her; our phones disconnected, and then my phone rang when I tried to call her back. I did not hang up on her. I would never hang up on Heidi.

TV GUIDE: What did she think when she saw you guys singing "Beauty School Dropout"?
LC: I've sung that to her face! I sang that for, like, a month, as a joke! [Laughs]

TV GUIDE: You mentioned getting a message from Jason. Is there some romantic drama to come?
LC: Yeah, it's us getting back together, and then the beginning [of the reunion], and how it ends up… all that fun stuff. [Sheepishly] But I don't know what they're going to show. I do know he comes to my office [at Teen Vogue] to surprise me with flowers.
