Boo hoo. It's cold. So what.

You're Lady Gaga, Woman of the Year. We expect the best from you. We understand you weren't dressed for the Parisian weather, but we're counting on you!

Scarlett Johansson, Nude Dress

Stepping out of her hotel yesterday in the French capital, she was “wearing a leather jacket,” according to a witness. “She had a matching beige string, big black fishnet stockings and really high, high heels ... but no pants!”

Lady Gaga in her usual attire.

Gaga, who displays a similar wardrobe preference ... well, all the time, evidently felt a quick change of heart or the day’s near-freezing temperatures.

Within minutes, her car stopped along the rue Richelieu, where she headed to a Bruce Field boutique. “Lady Gaga came in at 5:15,” an employee says.

“She bought a number of things.” Among the items she selected, according to reports, “were pants and a lot of scarves. Most everything in purple.”

Well, if you can't go pants-free, we can accept purple.

If there's one thing Lady Gaga knows, it's eye-opening fashion. If there's a second thing, it's outlandish hairstyles. Okay, cranking out hit songs is up there too.

We're focused on the singer's hair-raising fashion here, however. At the MuchMusic Awards, Gaga paired a braided bustier with a nice shaggy hair skirt and bag.

That was nothing compared to what she donned while performing in Paris - a dress, nay, a canopy of human hair created by Charlie le Mindu. Garishly great.

Lady Gaga is known for outrageous, eye-opening, envelope-pushing looks. So many that our Fashion Face-Off feature could conceivably feature only her.

While not as controversial as the racy girl-on-girl pics we posted this week, Gaga's nun-inspired winged headdress at Lollapalooza this year (left)? Wow.

Or the religious art-inspired halo of hair and red lace body stocking she wore to Marc Jacobs' after-party? Even wilder than the time she wore no pants!

Which look do you prefer? Vote in our Fashion Face-Off!

Those Lady Gaga hermaphrodite rumors may be absurd, but she doesn't exactly shy away from them. Check out the suit she wore leaving a London hotel recently.

Wearing a masculine black suit with white dards and a plain white shirt underneath, this was some contrast from the half-naked Lady Gaga pictures we often see.

In fact, just this week, she showed some serious leg outside a pizza restaurant in Barcelona. Pants? Who needs 'em. Pantsuits? Who needs those either. Right?

Lady Gaga was the biggest winner at last night's MTV Europe Music Awards, earning three trophies, including Best Song for "Bad Romance." Sadly, she was not there.

Performing in Budapest at the same time, the best the star could do was pop up via satellite from Hungary. Host Eva Longoria did her best to channel Gaga, though.

Paying homage to Lady Gaga's meat dress from this fall's MTV VMAs, Tony Parker's better half (who MC'd the festivities) donned a delicious Spanish ham costume:

PIECES OF MEAT: Eva pays tribute to Gaga.

"Lady Gaga couldn't be here tonight, but she left this dress in the fridge backstage for me," the Desperate Housewives star said through her amazing outfit.

What a ham. Sorry, we had to. Seriously, though, talk about a juicy costume. She even one-upped Ke$ha for the night's most ridiculous (-ly awesome) couture.

Which fashion statement do you prefer, though?

Not only will Lady Gaga be inducted into Madame Tussauds museums around the world this month, but a staggering eight wax Gagas will be enshrined!

The reveal of her eight different looks (as seen in some classic Lady Gaga pictures) will be the biggest figure launch in the history of the museum.

What will the wax replicas of the "Poker Face" be? Here's a rundown:

  1. Lady in Lace: Lace body stocking, Marie Antoinette hairstyle (Brit Awards 2010).
  2. Telephone hat paired with a black Armani coat (Jonathan Ross, 2010).
  3. Mini Mouse: Black latex body suit with straight hair (BBC Radio 1).
  4. Hair Hat: Gaga’s own blonde locks, see-through dress (unknown).
  5. Kinky Boots: Leather body suit and black lace bra (London 2009).
  6. Harlequin: Black body suit, platinum hair (Seoul, South Korea).
  7. Purple Hair: Towering purple hair piece (Denmark).
  8. Wired “wing” dress with lightning “eye” (Germany).

Follow the jump for some other Gaga looks we'd like to see in wax ...

Whether you love her, tolerate her or loathe her, you gotta give Lady Gaga credit for sparking controversy. Get it? Peep the cover of Italy's GQ and you will.

The singer knows how to make a fashion statement, be it a meat gown, a hair dress, a Kermit the frog frock, or a machine gun bra. What will she do next?

She always keeps us guessing. We've seen her explosive chest on display before in concert, but this is a fiery new twist. Thoughts? Take a look and assess:

What do you think of Lady Gaga's GQ cover?

Whether he's opening up about his own suicidal tendencies as a teen or unloading on that b!tch Taylor Momsen, Tim Gunn certainly does not hold back.

Not surprisingly, he has outspoken views on the topic he's best known for. Fashion. A subject he doesn't feel should be discussed regarding one star.

On Lady Gaga, Gunn said, "Who would want to emulate that? It's not even fashion. Those are costumes." No props for Lady Gaga's meat dress at all?

GRILLED: Tim won't treat the Lady tenderly.

Certain celebs do win his approval, however. Tim, like us, is shocked Kate Gosselin is hot now: "I'm mystified. She's gone from being a soccer mom to being a cougar."

As far as his favorite young celebrity fashion icon, it's a no-brainer. Gossip Girl star Blake Lively earns that distinction: "She just understands clothes," Gunn says.

Even if she wears so few of them on TV.

Most guys don't like a woman's body to be covered in hair.

They might make an exception in this single case, though.

If you thought Lady Gaga's meat dress was her most outrageous fashion statement of the year ... you were probably right. But her new hair dress is a close second!

Leopard Gaga

Lady Gaga's fashion is always hair-raising ... sometimes literally.

When she showed up at a New York club wearing nothing but a cape made of hair and a pair of fishnet tights, well, it made for great gossip. And Lady Gaga pictures.

Sometimes, "I feel just like any other insecure 24-year-old girl," she confessed to Rolling Stone. "Then I say, 'Bitch, you're Lady Gaga, you get up and walk the walk.'"

Indeed. Bless her for it. What do you think of Lady Gaga's hair dress?

Have no fears, Little Monsters. Lady Gaga's dress from the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month will be preserved. Hopefully in some sort of meat locker.

Symbolically, Gaga wanted to illustrate that humans can be treated like pieces of meat, as she feels gays are thanks to laws like the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy.

But forget the controversy. One of the problems with a dress of meat is logistical. What do you do with it after? It's not like you can eat that piece ... or can you?

Meaty Dress

PETA? Rolling in its collective grave.

“The dress will now go through a drying process where it becomes a sort of ‘jerky,’” the designer of Lady Gaga's meat dress, Franc Fernandez, tells E! Online.

It will be "archived for posterity," he says, adding that it took three days and 50 pounds of meat to design the dress, which he refrigerated between sessions.

“The meat dries out, rather than rotting. But it shouldn’t be worn again. There’s not going to be more. This was made for a specific purpose. It is what it is.”

Indeed. And that thing looks totally ...
