Might this put to rest the Lady GaGa hermaphrodite rumors?

(We can't believe we just wrote that sentence.)

But the controversial singer sparked controversy in early August by appearing on stage and posing with a certain appendage seemingly hanging from her crotch.

She's since said her vagina is "very offended" by the penis chatter, but such a defense hasn't quieted all critics. Perhaps the following images will.

During a concert at Washington D.C.'s Constitution Hall this week, the last stop on her Fame Ball Tour, Lady GaGa performed without pants - and, based on visual evidence, without any male private parts. Where would they be hiding in the pictures below?

Embroiled in a public relations nightmare, a freakishly-dressed, possible Hermaphrodite might not be the first person we'd want in our corner.

But Kanye West has few friends these days, so he'll have to settle for Lady GaGa.

Speaking to a Las Vegas radio station today about the rapper, who is still receiving flak for his crashing of Taylor Swift's VMA speech two weeks ago, GaGa said:

"I would say he’s a good guy and everybody makes mistakes, and he feels so f-cking bad. He really does... Everyone likes to focus on gossip, but he’s changed music and he’s really prolific and an incredible person, and I think it’s unfair to judge somebody on one mistake they’ve made.”

West and Lady GaGa are set to tour together, so she has a soft (likely, poorly-dressed) spot in her heart for him.

“He’s really kind of shown me a lot, as a friend, planning this tour - it’s all about the fans... I felt like that [VMA] moment really portrayed him in a way that he really isn’t. It was just a random moment.”

Lady Gaga finds herself in all sorts of sticky situations.

But the million-dollar lawsuit she's currently stuck in the middle of may be even more odd and stoke more flames than her blood-soaked VMA performance.

Here are the essential details of Gaga's legal drama ...

• An Irish entertainment company called "Grooveyard" claims they were looking to book talent for a couple of October concerts in Belfast and Dublin.
• Naturally, they struck a deal with a New York City-based company claiming to rep Lady Gaga, paying $320,000 to book the possible hermaphrodite.
• Naturally, the dude who cashed check may not even rep Gaga. Grooveyard claims after they began promoting Lady Gaga, AEG Live hit them with a cease and desist letter, stating that AEG alone has authority to book Gaga.

Lady Gaga is so hot these days, people will pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to people who just claim they represent her and don't actually deliver the Gaga.

The company is therefore rather upset, confused, and demanding their money back in a million-dollar lawsuit filed in New York State yesterday afternoon.

The moral of the story?

Don't shell out $320,000 to someone claiming to rep a star.

Unless you know for a fact that such an enormous sum of money is going to result in Lady Gaga nude or darn close to it on stage, just sit tight a little longer.

Sometimes, you simulate your bloody death at the end of your performance at the MTV Music Video Awards. These things happen when you're Lady Gaga.

As if her ridiculous outfits didn't generate enough publicity, the superstar singer is receiving feedback from her live version of "Paparazzi" on Sunday night.

A lot of the reactions aren't good, either.

Fans were a little freaked out by the rumored hermaphrodite simulating her murder at the hands of the paparazzi on stage. So were her former teachers.

Nuns apparently aren't a fan of this ...

Faculty members of the Convent of the Sacred Heart girls school in New York, where a little Italian girl named Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta matriculated for several years, are mortified, according to the New York Post.

Heck, even average viewers might have thrown up at the sight of it.

The paper reports that "When someone showed the nuns a video of her bloody performance at the VMA Awards, the good sisters were not amused."

Not entirely shocking, as it was pretty over the top, even for a young woman who walks around in no pants like it's her job. Which it kind of is!

We think they've accomplished that goal, although it's hard to tell if it's meant to be kinky or not. Whether it's attractive or not is also another story ...

One event, so many Lady Gaga pictures.

All day long, we have been pitting two celebrities against one another in style showdowns. But Lady Gaga has no counterpart or peer in the fashion arena.

Without a doubt, the possible hermaphrodite cannot be matched in terms of fashion originality. Whether she's raising or lowering the bar is another story.

In addition to the absurd getup she donned at the event itself, Gaga changed into two more outfits for last night's MTV Video Music Awards press room, held at Radio City Music Hall, and its star-studded after party, also in New York City.

For her sheer originality (for better or worse), willingness to take risk, and that insane ensemble consisting of a feathered frock, bedazzled neck brace, and gold mask, Lady Gaga undoubtedly set the MTV VMA fashion bar high.

Or low, depending how you look at it. Much like whether she has both a penis and a vagina, Lady Gaga fashion is always subject to interpretation.

Meanwhile, Diddy's weird protege with the shaved head arrived in what some have been calling an unflattering floral frock and futuristic footwear.

Who looked better?

It was just another week in the life of Lady Gaga:

• A week of stellar live performances and bombastic fashion choices
• A week of cementing her place among 2009's best-selling artists
• A week of pesky hermaphrodite rumors that refuse to go away ... even though she has blatantly and hilariously denied them at this point

In just the past week, Lady Gaga took Berlin by storm n an outfit fit for a supervillain, pairing a veil with a leather frock, matching fishnets, and a lot of crazy.

The dance diva was just getting started, though, making an appearance that same day in a garish, crimped getup, then parading around in no pants in Paris.

Lady G was also seen leaving HMV in London, England, where she performed live as well, and in the pages of V Magazine, in which she got all kinds of naked.

Lady Gaga seems to really hate pants. Or at least have no use for those pesky things. It's a bold position we certainly can appreciate, and commend.

She takes it to a new level, though.

It's one thing for our interns to write celebrity gossip news in their underwear, quite another for an international pop icon to parade around like this:

Could this be her way of proving to the world that she is not a hermaphrodite? If so, it appears effective. Nope, doesn't look like any penis up in there.

Her vagina, which was apparently offended by the rumor, has decided to strike back by making sure it is on display, or darn close, at every opportunity.

The star's next stop is N.Y. City, where she'll perform on the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday. Hopefully that results in a watershed fashion moment.

Or at least Lady Gaga naked on stage.

Okay, so Lady Gaga is not a hermaphrodite after all. Her vadge was very offended by the rumor that has been circulating to that effect, as a matter of fact.

But that doesn't mean she's not a raging coke head.

The singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, may be only 23 years old, but she's had quite the roller-coaster life in the time leading up to her fame.

After dropping out of college, she lived at home with her folks in New York City and developed a pretty big cocaine habit, which she discusses quite openly.

Until her dad intervened, her life just consisted of staying in her room snorting loads of the drug. Preferably while listening to The Cure. Who's surprised?

Another day, another Lady Gaga interview. And absurd outfit.

“My cocaine soundtrack was The Cure,” Lady GaGa said. “I loved all their music, but I listened to their songs on repeat while I did bags and bags of cocaine."

"I didn’t think there was anything wrong with me until my friends came over and said, ‘Are you doing this alone?’ I replied, ‘Um, yes. Me and my mirror.’”

Now Gaga puts that mirror to better use, like checking out how her outfits look ... eh, not really, most magazine spreads feature Lady Gaga nude these days.

While she admittedly likes to party, she said she kicked the coke habit due to her father and the fact that she would frequently panic while she was on drugs.

In other words, she doesn't want to be Lindsay Lohan. Wise.
