As promised, Lady Gaga performed her new hit song "Judas" live on the Ellen DeGeneres Show today, and as expected, she did not disappoint.

Despite being an international superstar with legions of fans, Gaga admitted to the host that she hasn't always been a paragon of confidence.

“Do I feel like a loser sometimes? Yes, of course I do,” she says.

It's okay, Lady. You were "Born This Way" baby and you are very much on the right track. That segue doesn't work as well for "Judas," but alas.

For the second time this month, Lady Gaga took a fall in concert in Atlanta last night. And, in vintage Gaga fashion, got up and carried on, unfazed.

The pop star fell off of a fire-spewing piano during a concert in Houston April 10, and has taken numerous other spills and tumbles over the years.

As Weird Al's Lady Gaga parody told us, she performs this way ...

Weird Al Yankovic, whose career comprised of parodying hit songs has lasted longer and been more lucrative than many of his subjects, has released a new gem.

"Perform This Way" is Al's take on Lady Gaga's "Born This Way," and includes plenty of the satirical lyrical wordplay that are Yankovic's hilarious trademarks.

Its release follows myriad reports that Gaga blocked the parody - which she can't even do, legally, but Al always gets permission from the stars in good faith.

In any case, Gaga’s manager nixed it without telling her. Word got back to Gaga, who was not pleased. The manager is sorry. Gaga loves it. Everyone is happy.

Here's Weird Al's "Perform This Way," his homage to Gaga, with lyrics:

In next month's NME magazine, the British music magazine asked if Lady Gaga is a “freak or fraud” and mused about her true legitimacy as an artist.

Gaga tells the magazine that she is nothing if not sincere in what she says and does, and while she has achieved great success, she’s never satisified.

She's also dressed in a sheer, zip-up body suit fondling her own breasts on the cover. Pretty standard as Lady Gaga pictures go. Take a look:

“I am perpetually unhappy with what I create. Even though I might tell you that ‘Edge of Glory’ is a pop masterpiece, when it’s all said and finished there will be things I dread, and every time I listen to it I’ll hear them," she continues.

"The worst mistake I could have made was not putting out Born This Way as the first record. It’s completely balls-to-the-wall, love-it-or-hate-it... Get in or get off the f*%king boat. I gained a lot of new fans.”

On the music video for her new song "Judas," she promises a blend of “motorbikes, death and, in the final seconds, a strong spoken word sequence about Gaga being beyond repentance.” So there you go. Listen to the song here:

Leave it to Lady Gaga, no stranger to getting people talking as it is, to up the ante tenfold this weekend with a controversial new song about "Judas."

Told through the perspective of Mary Magdelene, the lyrics go like this:

"In the most Biblical sense / I am beyond repentance / Fame hooker, prostitute wench, vomits her mind / But in the cultural sense / I just speak in future tense / Judas kiss me if offensed / Or wear ear condom next time..."

Okay then ...

Gaga's creative director, Laurieann Gibson, who is religious herself, says they made sure to not offend anyone. Here's how she describes the song:

"It was amazing to have that conversation about salvation, peace and the search for the truth in a room of non-believers and believers, to me, that was saying God is active in a big way. And the place that it came to is surreal."

"We don't touch on things that we have no right touching upon, but the inspiration, the soul and idea that out of your oppression, your darkness, your Judas, you can come into the marvelous light. So it's about the inspiration and to never give up."

In conclusion, she says Lady Gaga has "created a new Jerusalem."

Has she? Tell us: What do you think of Gaga's "Judas"?
