Lady Gaga is "quite normal and traditional" when it comes to family.

At least according to Lady Gaga, a star known for her controversial songs, eccentric outfits and outrageous antics. In life, though, she feels she's normal.

Speaking on MTV show Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside, she said: "I'm really quite traditional, actually, contrary to what some people might think about me."

Normal Girl

"I'm quite traditional in the family sense. I've always been that way. My dad was just trying to breathe normally. He's still trying to breathe normally."

Asked if she plans to have a family one day, she said: "At some point, yeah, I'll have a family and babies and all those things, but not right now."

"Not for a while. Right now I have lots of fans. I'm giving birth to lots of little monsters, so I need to keep down the stretch marks."

Starring in films, playing basketball, walking the catwalk, hosting TV shows and more, the world's most powerful celebrities are a wide-ranging bunch.

None of them match the overall powerfulness of Lady Gaga, however.

That's what Forbes concluded, toppling Oprah Winfrey from her No. 1 perch for only the third time in seven years on the magazine's Celebrity 100 list.

Gaga is there not just because of the $90 million she earned on tour, but because of her 32 million Facebook fans and 10 million Twitter followers.

Lady Gaga, My Little Pony

The world's most powerful star wears a My Little Pony necklace.

The Little Monsters gobbled up 1 million digital downloads of "Born This Way", not to mention the countless products Lady Gaga features in her videos.

Oprah doesn't fall too far though. The daytime talk maven, who earned $290 million last year, comes in second. Justin Bieber debuts on the list at #3.

If this were 10 years ago Bieber would still be paying his dues in small clubs and schools, but thanks to the Internet, he's a sensation at the age of 17.

His first hit song, "Baby," has been viewed 500 million times, a YouTube record, and he vies with Gaga for the distinction of Twitter's most-followed.

Lady Gaga is back on the market.

It's over between the music superstar and her boyfriend Luc Carl, she personally admitted on the The Graham Norton Show Thursday.

"I don't have a boyfriend and haven't been on any dates recently," the Gaga said, confirming the breakup from her on-again, off-again love.

  • Luc Carl Pic
  • Sad Gaga

These two dated for long stretches on multiple occasions.

"That relationship really shaped me. I sort of resolved that if you can't have the guy of your dreams, there are so many other ways to give love."

Not quite sure how to interpret that, but good to know!

She told Rolling Stone last year of Luc Carl, a bartender and drummer hailing from her native NYC: "I've really never loved anyone like I love him."

Hopefully, the "Born This Way" singer finds a suitable replacement for Carl at some point soon ... if there's even a guy who can keep up with her.

Lady Gaga served as a guest mentor last night on American Idol.

New tri-colored hairstyle aside, her outfit was fairly run-of-the-mill ... save for the GIANT stiletto heels. Heels made out of clear plastic penises.

When Gaga hit the set, producers smacked an American Idol logo over her sexually explicit stilettos because each had a Lucite penis for a heel.

That or they were conveniently cropped just outside the screen. You could say they got the shaft. Note the subtle censorship of the Lady's footwear ...

Phallic footwear aside, Gaga proved in mentoring the Idol stars that an intelligent, thoughtful young woman exists beneath that bombastic persona.

No matter who goes home tonight, this was an experience James Durbin, Scotty McCreery, Haley Reinhart and Lauren Alaina will never forget.

NOTE: Void of Course, a London brand, sells the heels for $4,500!

Lady Gaga is the latest celebrity to try out the spring’s hot hair trend, but in true Mother Monster fashion, she's rocking it in a unique and unusual way.

The 25-year-old star stepped out in Paris Tuesday night sporting a tri-colored 'do consisting of jet-black bangs and black, orange, and white-striped strands.

The new streaks are a colorful upgrade to her black and white Cruella de Vil-esque locks that she was rocking earlier this week. Check it out below:

The Grammy winner is no stranger to turning heads when it comes to her style, but her hair as well, with everything from rainbow streaks to Cleopatra crops.

The singer, whose new single - fittingly called "Hair" drops this weekend, is in France for the Cannes Film Festival and she'll also perform on Le Grand Journal.

Lady Gaga is preparing to release a new single called "Hair."

The May 16 release date is just one week before her new album comes out in full, and will be the fourth track from Born This Way released ahead of time.

Usually, when an artist is gearing up for the release of their album they’ll offer up two singles, one months before it drops, and one just before the album.

Obviously, Lady Gaga is unconventional. We've heard the title track, the promo single “Edge of Glory” days later, and most recently, "Judas."

“Born This Way” spent more than a month at No. 1 on the Billboard hot 100 chart; but “Judas,” peaked at No. 10, then fell to No. 20 by its third week.

Of course, the Lady Gaga's “Judas” music video has been watched at least 15 million times online, so it's hard to call that a disappointment.

How will "Hair" do? We'll find out starting Sunday.

After weeks of preemptive controversy, Lady Gaga has released the music video for her single, "Judas," and the prophecy of controversy hath been fulfilled.

In a video packed with religious overtones, the pop sensation plays a modern-day Mary Magdalene, riding with a biker gang comprised of Jesus and His apostles.

Sleek, dramatic and overtly sexual, it places Gaga, among other things, writing in a bath with both Jesus and Judas, who share intimate moments, as well.

Pretty much what you'd expect. Watch Gaga's "Judas" video here:

Haley Reinhart has never been regarded as a serious contender, but she's made it all the way to the top five, and served notice last night that she's no fluke.

With a great effort on "House of the Rising Sun," then a go-for-broke cover of an unreleased Lady Gaga track, Haley proved she belongs on American Idol.

"House of the Rising Sun" was clearly right in Haley's wheelhouse, and was head and shoulders above anyone else's old school covers last night. Watch:

As for Lady Gaga's "You and I," which Gaga does at her shows, and which required Haley getting permission directly from Gaga, it was a risky call.

While the judges weren't all moved by the song itself, it's perfectly suited to her style and her distinctive sound, and she took it to the house!

It's the kind of performance that makes Haley Reinhart stand out and really make her mark as a contender. Watch it here and see if you agree:
