Kwame Kilpatrick is the mayor of Detroit, Michigan. Elected at age 31, he became the youngest mayor in the history of Detroit, as well as the second youngest current mayor of any major U.S. city.

Kwame Kilpatrick briefly addressed the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He is currently Vice President of the National Conference of Democratic Mayors and its representative to the Democratic National Committee.

He is now under fire because he and chief of staff Christine Beatty denied during testimony in August that they had a sexual relationship, but it appears there was some serious sex going on.

In turn, there may soon be perjury charges going on.
