The reality star and mediocre shot-caller drank mimosas and nibbled on fries during brunch at Hub51, then headed for a dinner date at Joe's Seafood, People says.

The couple laughed and had great talks over their filet mignon, a source says. Hopefully, these Kristin Cavallari pictures were not part of the conversation.

Is Kristin Cavallari turning over a new leaf?

With The Hills over, she's reportedly dating Doug Reinhardt, and the reality TV vixen just darkened her trademark blonde locks to a shade of light brown.

“I just dyed it!” Cavallari told People earlier this week. “I was bored with my hair and it’s the first time I was able to dye my hair because of filming for The Hills."

"You could never change your hair. ‘I thought: Now I can, why not!’”

Laguna Beach, Calif., natives, longtime friends and reality TV stars Kristin Cavallari and Doug Reinhardt have crossed into new territory and are now dating.

That's according to the always-reliable Radar Online, which reports that the couple took "their blossoming new romance" out on the town over the weekend.

On Saturday night, the two went to Voyeur nightclub in Hollywood.

“They were so cute, holding hands, smooching,” a fellow club-goer said, before they later took it up a notch: “At one point, they were actually making out.”

Whooooa, actually making out?! Get a room, you two!

Another source also confirmed that Doug Reinhardt and Kristin Cavallari, who grew up together, are now dating. In April, they went to the the Coachella festival.

At that point, Kristin was quoted laughing off romance rumors saying: “I’ve known Doug since I was 15 years old. Yeah, I saw him there, but not like that.”

Reinhardt, who briefly dated Lauren Conrad on The Hills before she dumped him for being really boring, recently broke up with ho-tel heiress Paris Hilton.

Doug has also been linked to Miss USA Rima Fakih and Miss World Lane Lindell. If he's really with Kristin now, it's both shocking and totally predictable!

In all seriousness, according to Cavallari, she has embarked on a 10-day detox plan that consists of ingesting only variety of vegetables, protein shakes, fish, chicken and brown rice, all of which are delivered to her home daily.

"Such a beautiful morning. Started a 10-day detox today...protein shake for breakfast and it wasn't bad!" the 23-year-old reality star Tweeted last week.

Kristin Cavallari looks good to us. Hope she's not going to get too thin on us ... that's just no good. Celebs need to set the example that you can eat AND be hot.

But shortly into the detox (which began with three days of consuming just protein shakes), Cavallari admitted the cleanse wasn't as easy as expected.

"So its day 5 of my cleanse and its been pretty easy until today," she Tweeted longingly this past Sunday. "I can't stop thinking of all the food I want!"

Still, The Hills' resident bad girl insists that she isn't doing the cleanse solely to drop a few extra pounds. Because no one diets for that reason ... ever.

"Just wanna make 1 thing clear-the cleanse is not for weight loss. Its for health... and I feel great!" she Tweeted earlier this week. We're glad to hear it.

The Hills stars Kristin Cavallari and Stephanie Pratt won't win a lot of fashion awards for these. If there even are any fashion awards. That's unclear.

In any case, where do we even begin? At the Salt premiere in Hollywood, Kristin debuted a really short dress with spiked shoulder pads. Yeah. Wow.

Stephanie, meanwhile, attended the premiere of The Extra Man in New York wearing the drapes from a house with 1970s decor. Very chic ... we guess.

Given their history, Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad may never be BFFs. But The Hills stars aren't exactly feuding, either. The two are "cool," Kristin says.

The two Laguna Beach beauties famously dated the same guy, Stephen Colletti, on the hit MTV reality show that spawned The Hills, which starred Conrad.

In a hilariously contrived move, Cavallari replaced LC as the protagonist and "narrator" of the series in 2009, when she decided to leave after five seasons.

Following The Hills series finale this week, the two reunited along with the whole cast, past and present, at the live after-show bash at the Roosevelt Hotel.

Despite what some think, the two don't hate each other at all.

Speaking of that guy, whose fake relationship with Kristin was a primary, bogus story line this season, he's now with Avril Lavigne - but still close to Kristin.

"Our friendship is the most important thing and I don't think that anything will ever get in the way of that," says Cavallari, who's dating Miguel Medina.
