Cannes. It's a place for film festivals and romance, both the nauseatingly contrived kind (Kim Kardashian and Kanye West) and the totally sweet and real and beautiful kind.

This adorable couple was videotaped getting cuddly and kissy this week at an after-party in honor of On the Road, the Jack Kerouac book-based drama that stars Stewart, Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund. Watch the hot action for yourself in this video:
Stewart gets topless for a scene in the movie and recently said at a press conference that she was excited to take such a risk.
We have a feeling Pattinson went home on this night with the actress, though, and the two experienced a whole different kind of topless excitement. If you know what we mean!
Kristen Stewart All For On the Road Topless Scene
She may seem shy in front of still photographers, but the same can't be said for Kristen Stewart when movie film is rolling.
At least not when it comes to her latest endeavor, On the Road.
The drama, based on a classic Jack Kerouac novel, finds Stewart's Marylou topless at one point (as teased in this On the Road trailer), seated between costars Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund. Was the actress nervous about such a scene? Heck no.
I "wanted to do it," she said today at a Cannes Film Festival press conference.
"I love pushing. I love scaring myself," Stewart told reporters. "I've always wanted to get as close to an experience as I could... I'm usually self conscious about running around town with my face hanging out. But I got to live more in those four weeks than I ever usually do in my life."
Ouch, burn, Robert Pattinson! You gotta take your girl out more.
Next, Kristen stars in Snow White and the Huntsman. She then finishes a VERY busy year with Breaking Dawn Part 2.

The sexy novel trilogy by EL James, recently acquired by Universal Studios in a movie deal, was inspired by Edward and Bella from the Twilight novels.
Knowing this, could she see herself and Rob in 50 Shades?
“I’m dying to make another movie with Rob, I think that we’re a good team,” Kristen said. “I think whatever it is needs to be so ridiculously ambitious."
"So maybe! I just haven’t read it, so I don’t know too much about what it is, but I've heard good things, and would love to work with him again.”
Kristen reiterated that she "doesn't know" when asked if she could picture herself and Rob playing Christian and Anastasia in 50 Shades of Grey.
You can see why the idea appeals to many fans, however - as does another faux vampire combo in The Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev.
In the book, Ana (based off of Bella) falls for Christian (based on Edward Cullen), a rich 27-year-old entrepreneur who introduces her into his erotic world of S&M.

Kristen Stewart: My Life is So Boring!
Kristen Stewart is an A-list movie star who has two blockbusters on the way in 2012: Snow White and the Huntsman, and Breaking Dawn Part 2.
But that doesn't mean the actress finds her life especially exciting.
"I didn't go to f-cking school, I feel I would have had a bit something extra if I had," she tells the latest issue of Elle. "Maybe because my life is so f-cking perfect, when I see the other side of life, it just seems like, almost like I want...
"You can learn so much from bad things. I feel boring. I feel like, Why is everything so easy for me? I can't wait for something crazy to f-cking happen to me. Just life. I want someone to f-ck me over! Do you know what I mean?"
Well... no. Not exactly. We don't wake up next to Robert Pattinson every morning.

On riding horses as Snow White: "I hated it. I didn't take to the whole mentality of f-cking ordering that thing around – 'Go now!' You have to be an asshole, basically. Not to say that horse people are assholes to their horses. But you have to basically tell that thing who's boss, and I didn't want to do that. I was like, 'No, do your thing. I don't even want to be up here.'"
Wearing contact lenses for The Twilight Saga: "It’s like I always have sunglasses on – soulless, googly-eyed sunglasses. You can’t feel your eyeballs. They ruined me."
Kristen Stewart Talks Snow White, Injured Foot on Jimmy Kimmel Live
Kristen Stewart is going to be okay.
But the actress limped on to the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live last night following an injury she suffered during re-shoots on Breaking Dawn Part 2, during her very final scene as Bella Swan, in fact.

She may not love to make public appearances, but Kristen Stewart looks darn good when she does venture out to the red carpet.

As for the worst? Don't worry, the magazine has handed out that dishonor as well... to Katie Price for the third year in a row.

Snow White and the Huntsman Cast to Kristen Stewart: Happy Birthday!
Snow White and the Huntsman stars Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin are helping celebrate Kristen Stewart's 22nd birthday in style.
The trio, in their amazing accents, uploaded separate video cards to offer well-wishes to the actress, who plays Snow White, on the special occasion.
"Kristen Stewart, a little birdie came and told me it was your birthday," proclaimed Theron. "Dude, happy friggin' birthday. You're awesome."
"I feel honored to know you. Just keep rockin', man. You're amazing. Mad love."
Theron, who plays the evil Queen, then blew her a kiss. As for Hemsworth and Claflin, they kept it short and sweet ... but man those guys are cool.

The Los Angeles native racked up an impressive number of film and TV credits even before 2008, when the Twilight saga launched her to mega-stardom.
She's come a long way since those brooding, awkward days.
Okay ... maybe not. She's still brooding and awkward, but that's why we love her, and she does crack a smile occasionally. When she does, it's all the more beautiful!
With Breaking Dawn set to end the saga this year, she has a long, bright future ahead of her ... and Robert Pattinson as a boyfriend. Could be worse.
