Kris Allen won season eight of American Idol! Dude has major talent!
The singer auditioned in Louisville, Kentucky originally, choosing the tune "A Song For You" by Leon Russell for his try out. His arrangement of "Ain't No Sunshine" during the week of popular downloads was an absolute classic.
This is a college student, majoring in business, that hails from Conway, Arkansas. Allen is 23 years old.
His version of "Heartless" was one of the most memorable in the history of American Idol. It likely led to his eventual victory.

I really like Kris Allen he is so cool dude and he has a very nice singing voice and I will buy his CD'S everywhere in stores keep on singing do not stop and Please come to Prince George BC Canada for a concert I love to see you live at the CN Centre you are so good

Kris is the real idol out there for so many. No flash,glitter,or look at me attitude. He represents Idol just as Carrie did. Having been told by Jamie Fox he would cut a record with him says a lot. Proud beyond words not only here in Texas but Colorado fans also.
