In the following trailer for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Bruce Jenner says he's "sick and tired of all of this."

The former Olympian is referring to contrived problems in his marriage, but he might as well be speaking for millions of individuals who shake their heads over the deterioration of society, largely exemplified by the interest in this utterly talentless family.

Among the previewed developments writers have penned and producers have set up for Khloe, Kourtney, Kim and company on the new season, which premieres August 22:

• Kim is set up with Miles Austin, and gets upset over texts to "whores."
• Kris flirts with a younger man.
• Scott Disick complains about his quasi in-laws and threatens a move to New York.
• Kim compliments Khloe on her vagina.

Thank goodness.

Both Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian have signed on for a second season of their E! reality show, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. It's still unclear where the sisters are taking it, but "into the toilet" appears to be the leading candidate.

The new season will premiere this summer.

Last year, after being named the stars of their own show, Khloe suddently wed Lakers power forward Lamar Odom; while Kourtney found herself pregnant with a baby that belonged to lazy boyfriend Scott Disick.

It was almost as if producers asked the ladies to spice up their lives in some way. A crazy suspicion, we know. Might their reverse roles this summer, with Khloe getting knocked up and Kourtney walking down the aisle?

Lisa Berger of E! would only tease: "This time it's a whole different world as the pair must embrace their new life roles and juggle their hectic careers as they head back to South Beach where fun always follows."

Pardon us while we vomit.

Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian are set to take Miami to new, pathetic, low depths.

Their E! reality show premieres this Sunday night and the better-looking of the two sisters recently talked about it with PR.com. Here are excerpts from the interview:

On Miami: "It has this energy. It's sexy, and everyone there is always on Miami time. People don't work, or they work in the nightlife and they all sleep in and go to the beach every day."

On her and Khloe's pretend exercise routine: "Every morning we would run on the beach and just seeing the ocean every morning, it puts you in such a good mood.  You feel like you're on vacation."

On guys in Florida: "Just like in every city, there are definitely normal nice cool guys, and there's definitely the cheesy Miami guy and what you envision. The stereotype definitely doesn't come from nowhere."

** REMEMBER: A Hollywood Gossip staff member went undercover and will actually be included on an episode of Khloe and Kourtney Take Miami. It's the only reason to tune in to this garbage.

Okay, there's one more reason (below, right)...

America has a lot of problems: a high unemployment rate, an ongoing debate about health care, a potential presidential candidate who exploits the military for her own political agenda.

With that in mind, Khloe and Kourtney Take Miami is one of two things:

1. A welcome distraction from these issues;
2. Or the epitome of all that's wrong in our country.
