Kirstie Alley is an actress best known for her role in the TV show Cheers, in which she played Rebecca Howe from 1987–1993, winning an Emmy as the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 1991.
She is a long standing member of the Church of Scientology and is a spokesperson for its anti-psychiatry front group the CCHR.
Alley was married to actor Parker Stevenson from 1983-1997. The couple has two adopted children — William True (born 1992) and Lillie Price (born 1994).
Kirstie Alley is also well known for her weight gains and losses over the years.
