Ricky Gervais Slams Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber in Golden Globes Monologue
Compared to his monologue from 2011, Ricky Gervais took it very easy on celebrities to open tonight's Golden Globe Awards. Celebrities in attendance, that is.
The comedian did get in a couple of digs at two THG mainstays, however, first comparing this ceremony to the Academy awards via this zinger:
“The Golden Globes are to the Oscars what Kim Kardashian is to Kate Middleton. A bit louder, bit trashier, bit drunker, and more easily bought... allegedly.”
Gervais then turned his attention to Justin Bieber, referring to his paternity test scandal and expressing shock at the mere notion of Bieber as a father. Quipped the host:
“The only way that he could have impregnated a girl is if he borrowed one of Martha Stewart’s turkey basters.”
Eh, not bad. Fairly random, considering music is the one industry NOT recognized by the Golden Globes, but, hey, being referenced in a monologue means you've really made it. Wait, no one tell that to Kim.
Did Kim Kardashian Stage This Kar Ride, Konversation?
Kris Humphries is reportedly steaming mad because Kim Kardashian and company staged a conversation on last week's Kourtney & Kim Take New York that painted him in a negative light.
The incident in question supposedly took place in a car ride from Dubai, as Kris Jenner asked her daughter if she was excited to return home to her "hubby" and Kim replied:
“There’s something in my relationship that I feel isn’t right. I’m learning a lot of things about him that I didn’t really know before... And married life isn’t what I thought it would be with him: I keep thinking something is off.”
But did this exchange actually take place in real time? Or was it contrived at a later date? Watch the clip below (at the 4:30 mark) and you won't notice any lights in the background, any cars passing by, anything at all except for a black backdrop. Hmmm...

Kris Humphries: Out to DESTROY Kim Kardashian!
Konsider yourself warned, Kim Kardashian: Your ex-husband is on the warpath.
According to the latest issue of Life & Style, Kris Humphries has once again met with an attorney because he wants to take legal action against the Kardashians and the ways he has been portrayed on their E! reality show.
"He's not going to be vilified," an insider told the tabloid. "Kris knows his rights. He will sue."
Humphries is especially upset at last Sunday's episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, as he thinks it's "noticeable" that Kim's negative quotes about "married life" were voiceovers added well after the scenes in question took place.
But this is all hogwash, a friend of Kim's says.
"You can't edit what Kris said - he said those things, and maybe the truth hurts. He wants to sue because he saw what he looks like on TV and he's embarrassed now."
Kim Kardashian on Fans: Not Stupid!
Kim Kardashian has 6.9 million Facebook fans, 11.6 million Twitter followers and was part of a family that made $65 million in 2010.
So, yes, if you're basing success on strangers believing they're your friend and a large bank account, this makes perfect sense: Kardashian covers the latest issue of Success.
What has allowed Kim to rake in such dough and so many followers? She tells the magazine that she tries to give "sisterly advice" to all who ask.
“I’ll listen to fans’ comments and questions asking what skincare do I use or what fragrance I like, and I feel I’m in a position that I can answer those questions well," Kardashian said, trying to pretend like she writes her own blog or posts her own Tweets.
Kim Kardashian Kampaigns for Lamar Odom, Is a Moron
The intern who writes Kim Kardashian's blog Kim Kardashian is an idiot.
In a new website post, the reality star asks her drones "dolls" to vote brother-in-law Lamar Odom into the All-Star Game this year. There are just two problems with this request:
- Odom is averaging a paltry 6.7 points and five rebounds per game this season, down from career numbers of 14.5 and 8.8, respectively.
- Someone might wanna tell Kim that Lamar no longer plays for the Lakers, following an immature trade demand because his feelings were hurt that Los Angeles wanted to upgrade its roster. Notice the photos Kim included with her plea:
To vote Odom on to the All-Star roster would be an insult to professional basketball. It would take away a spot from a player who actually deserves it.
Seriously, Kim, for someone who spends so much time underneath with athletes, we'd think you'd have more respect for the world of sports.
Amber Rose Forgives Kim, Kanye for Alleged Affair
Amber Rose is sticking to her story: Kanye West cheated on her with Kim Kardashian.
But the model and aspiring artist is just keeping it real and being honest, she says. She isn't actually angry at either party. At least not anymore.
"I forgive her," Rose told TMZ last night. "And I forgive Kanye too... it's not a big deal, you know?"
Amber even says she made a mistake in referring to Kim as a "homewrecker" in her initial interview with Star.
"That was kind of mean," Rose admitted yesterday, adding: "I'm not a mean-spirited person... I just acted on my emotions when I said it."
Kim Kardashian Attorney Threatens Anti-Kim Kardashian Website Owner
The anti-Kim Kardashian movement is gaining momentum.
Over 500,000 people have signed a petition on BoycottKim.com, a website that pushes companies to stop doing business with the world's least talented, most wooden reality star.
As a result, the California resident who owns the site (and who wishes to remain anonymous), tells The New York Daily News that Christopher T. Wilson, a Kardashian family lawyer, has actually contacted him with threats to take it down.
“They try to scare you,” the founder tells the newspaper, saying that the Kardashians claim to be preparing a criminal harassment complaint against him. “They do not want bad publicity.”
Perhaps they should have thought of that before Kim krapped all over the koncept of marriage.

Shilling for a company that pays her to stand around, read cue cards and accentuate her cleavage.
Indeed, Kim is featured in a random, stiff video that claims to wish the Duchess of Cambridge a very happy birthday... but is really exploiting the occasion by using it to release a special ShoeDazzle offer. The odds that Kim Kardashian has even heard of Kate Middleton?
