This isn't exactly breaking news, nor is it the most exciting celebrity gossip story you'll read today.

But don't blame us. Blame Kim Kardashian.

If the reality TV star would go back to making sex tapes, or posing nude in Playboy, we could report on something other than the fact that her and LaLa Vazquez went shopping in Beverly Hills this week.

Alas, this is all we have at the moment. Even Kim herself seems bored by this activity, as she's seemingly telling a photographer, in the shot below, that there are more interesting things to snap pictures of than her jaunt across the street:

According to sources, Kim Kardashian is working on an album, currently untitled. Unfortunately, "Back Dat Ass Up" is already a hit song by Juvenile.

The girl famous for everything and nothing at the same time now wants to sing. She’s already started it, BET says, and wants to do a duet with Ciara.

Kim's album, if it ever gets produced, and we can only hope it does not, is going to be primarily sound bites of her moaning as Ray J taps that R&B.

“I’d have to hear a song and feel it out and see if it’s something I’d sound good at," Kim said. I would like the music to sound a bit like Lady GaGa, Britney Spears and J.Lo with a bit of an R’n’B twist to it. Filming the video would be the most fun.”

This girl is a music star waiting to be born.

This is totally not the first time Kim Kardashian has expressed her desire to launch a singing career. She said in an interview back in 2007 at the House of Hype Grammy after party that “everyone’s been asking me about the singing thing."

And by everyone, she probably means no one.

When it comes to sex on tape, Kim Kardashian likes to do it doggy style.

But when it comes to her hair at red carpet events, the reality TV star often mixes up styles.

Kardashian hit the MuchMusic Awards earlier in the week with a tucked-under bob, one she referred to as "channeling Marilyn Monroe."

Days later, though, she was back to her simple, flowing locks. Which look do you prefer on Kim Kardashian?

Megan Fox was just deemed the sexiest woman in the world by FHM magazine for the second year in a row - and Kim Kardashian certainly gets why.

"Megan Fox is so hot," K-squared konfessed to Entertainment Tonight.

"She is, like, my girl krush - and I don't have girl krushes!"

Kim Kardashian says she went to the L.A. premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen this week to hopefully catch a glimpse of the Foxy actress.

"That's really the only reason I'm here," she said at the movie event, adding that her boyfriend Reggie Bush "also has a thing" for Fox.

Gulp. Can we get a threesome in the house?

Megan Fox, who is no stranger to girl-on-girl fantasies and famously said she wants to strangle a mountain ox with her bare hands when she thinks about Olivia Wilde, has yet to comment on whether Kim Kardashian kommands similar feelings.

But she told June's Esquire that being sexy comes naturally to her.

"I'm just really confident sexually, and I think that sort of oozes out of my pores," she said. "It's just there. It's something I don't have to turn on."

"If you know how to take control of [being a sex symbol], then it can be powerful. But I have no idea how to handle it yet, how to deal with it."

So basically, to sum up:

Before Heidi Montag decided to bare her boobs for Playboy, she sought advice from someone that has made a living out of showing off her body.

That's right, Heidi kalled Kim Kardashian.

Shockingly, the socialite that rose to fame via a sex tape gave Montag the following advice:

During a recent meeting of the giant breasts mind, Kim Kardashian told Heidi Montag to pose for Playboy.

"I think that now's the time," Kim told MTV News, adding: "I think it's a very classy magazine. It's artsy. I talked her through the whole process and helped her make up her mind."

Kardashian, of kourse, donned her birthday suit - but kovered herself with a sheet - in November 2007. Expect Montag's pictorial to, sadly, reveal about the same level of nudity.

Also, let's talk about this concept again: why on earth will a sex tape star be featured in Oprah Winfrey's publication?!? Seems like a lower sets of standars than we're used to from the big O.

Kim Kardashian spent her Tuesday afternoon shopping in Beverly Hills, doing her best to stimulate the economy.

After shopping at Harmony Lane, Karshashian and gal pal Brittny Gastineau headed over to Coffee Bean to unwind after their tough day.

Kim and Brittny have been friends for a while now, which is surprising because Brittny has the personality of an umbrella. Oh well. Kim's hot.

Meanwhile, Khloe and Kourtney have left their sister all alone out in Kalifornia, now that the twosome is down in Miami, helping Kourtney find a date. Apparently, Kim doesn't seem too devastated by their departure.
