Kim Kardashian might be getting back together with Reggie Bush.

But she's definitely sporting a new hair color!

Kim premiered the look in public at this week's Teen Choice Awards. What inspired the blonde locks?

“I needed an end of summer change," Kardashian told People. "I’ve never dyed my hair before and I’ve been working out, feeling so great why not add to the change?”

Stylist Rebecca Friedman was tasked with creating the look, which she said was challenging, due to her client's olive complexion.

“We couldn’t take her platinum because her coloring is too dark - you have to take into account not only her hair color, but her eyes and skin color," Friedman told the magazine. "We wanted to keep it really healthy and shiny and keep a minkier, darker base so that it didn’t go brassy, so it looked more natural and sun-kissed, like she’d been at the beach all summer.”

Reggie Bush left a New Orleans Saints practice last week due a recurring knee injury.

But a new report suggests the running back's heart is truly what's in pain.

Sources at The National Enquirer claim Bush can't get over Kim Kardashian; in fact, he wants to get under her once again, just a few weeks after their break-up.

Speaking to "close informants," the tabloid expects a reunion to soon take place between Reggie and Kim because the former "doesn't want to let her go."

"They are talking again and he is hopeful that she will agree to give it another go," said an insider.

Then again, Bush may change his mind when he sees Kim's less-than-flattering new hair color.

In other Reggie Bush news: don't waste a high draft pick on him in fantasy football. He's an injury risk and Pierre Thomas is likely to receive a bulk of the Saints' carries.

Months ago, the reality TV star posed for photos in a blonde wig and asked fans what they thought of the look.

She must have gotten positive feedback, as Kardashian debuted a new, lighter shade of hair at last night's taping for the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.

Just a couple weeks after she broke up with Reggie Bush, was this an attempt by Kim to start a clean slate? After all, her hair formerly matched the skin color of her boyfriends (from Nick Cannon to Ray J to Bush). Perhaps she's now trying to leave the past behind.

But in the latest issue of Oprah Winfrey's O magazine, the socialite previews this fall's hot fashion and says she doesn't mind covering up a bit, especially when the outfit fits her body shape.

“The higher neckline and longer hem are conservative, but it’s fitted to show off my curves,” she said.

Kim is joined in the feature article by Kristin Cavallari - yes, Oprah Winfrey essentially endorses the fashion views of two women that can barely read the Teleprompter on their reality shows - who agrees that classy can still equate to sensual.

“It’s sexy without being in-your-face — it has class," she said.

Kourtney isn't the only Kardashian that hopes Kim and Reggie will soon reconcile.

The break-up between Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush may have been tough on those involved - but it's been great for their random friends!

First, Brittny Gastineau spoke out about her pal's slow recovery from the relationship's demise.

Now, socialite Caroline D'Amore is using the opportunity to shill for her new movie. But not before she expresses her heartfelt sympathies for Kim, of course.

"I definitely don't think we'll be seeing Kim with anyone anytime soon," D'Amore told E! News. "Reggie was the major love of her life, and it's not going to be easy to just meet someone new."

"Have fun, be with the girls and be young. Chill out. No one needs to have babies right now, anyway."

D'Amore has appeared on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and, naturally, will often show up on on Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami.

After all, she has a swimwear line to promote and a new movie to shill for.

D'Amore has a role in the upcoming horror film, Sorrority Row. She filmed scenes with Audrina Patridge for it and dished on that reality star, as well.

"She didn't do the diva thing," D'Amore said. "It was like when she was here, she was here, and she wasn't mentally anywhere else. It was a pleasure to work with her."

America's Next Top Model is getting even fiercer this year.

Reality TV fashionistas Kim Kardashian and Lauren Conrad are both set to appear in cycle 13 as celebrity judges, according to various news reports.

Per the CW, Kim and Lauren will do one episode each.

Look for The Hills retiree LC to take a seat at the judges table first, appearing alongside Tyra Banks and company on Wednesday, September 16.

The following Monday, October 21, Kim Kardashian komes on.

Lowndes won't be judging, but she does put the girls' "interviewing skills" to the test. Whatever the heck that means, we're sure it's gonna be sweet.

What Kim Kardashian contiributes to any fashion or modeling discussion, we have no idea. Lauren at least has a clothing line. Still, we kan't wait!
