Amid escalating international tensions, North Korea has released footage of Kim Jong Un firing a gun during some target practice with his military last week.

This comes as the young leader continues to threaten South Korea and the U.S. in an attempt to bolster his image at home in the rogue, isolated nation.

His propaganda machine is in overdrive. See below.

If the 28-year-old weren't an authoritarian dictator and violator of human rights who may have access to nuclear weapons, this would honestly be hilarious.

One wonders what he thinks he's accomplishing with this nonsense, but perhaps that's part of it: Kim Jong Un loves keeping enemies off balance and on alert.

Eccentric NBA legend Dennis Rodman is already planning his next trip to North Korea, according to reports, with his sights set on much more than basketball.

The star wants to broker a peace deal between the United States and the (erroneously named) Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Seriously.

Rodman's rep says that despite a storied career - Basketball Hall of Fame, five titles, records, awards - a U.S./N.K. peace deal would be his "greatest achievement."

Whoa whoa. Slow down. Guy is the career rebounds per game leader in the NBA since 1973. He once averaged 18 per game in a season! Insane.

Back from a whirlwind trip to North Korea, Dennis Rodman says his "friend for life" Kim Jong Un just wants President Barack Obama to call him.

The former NBA star told ABC's George Stephanopoulos on This Week, "He wants Obama to do one thing: Call him. He said, 'If you can, Dennis.'"

"I don't want [to] do war. I don't want to do war.' He said that to me."

The 51-year-old athlete said the two sides already have common ground, and he offered Kim some advice for potential future talks with Obama.

"[Kim] loves basketball. And I said the same thing, I said, 'Obama loves basketball.' Let's start there," the Basketball Hall of Fame member said.
