Following her sister's flour bombing last week at the hands of an irritating PETA activist, Khloe Kardashian announced to the world yesterday that she was through with the company for whom she posed naked in 2008 (below).

In response, PETA has issued a statement that basically say: we understand. But your sister still sucks!

"We appreciate that Khloé will remain on the animals' side by not wearing fur - that's what counts," a rep for PETA tells E! News. "If one of our volunteers is responsible, it doesn't alter the fact that no animal deserves to be electrocuted, shot or poisoned for a bit of fur clothing.

Khloé is just defending her sister, and we know she has a good heart, so we wish her well. We just wish she also had more influence on her sister."

Sigh. Talk about a battle where this is no winner. Whose side do you take in the PETA versus Kim Kardashian feud?

Prepare yourselves for tragic news Khloe Kardashian, readers: you will never see her naked body on a billboard ever again.

The reality star announced on her blog yesterday that she was disassociating herself from PETA, following the reveal that the woman behind her sister's flour bombing last Thursday was Christina Cho, a well-known activist from that organization.

“I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me," Khloe wrote.

"I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions - I personally don’t wear fur but that doesn’t mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them.

"I am a very proud sister right now, because Kim handled last week’s incident like a champ. She got cleaned up and was back out there in a matter of minutes. Go Kimmie!”

Khloe, of course, posed nude for PETA in December 2008. Millions of people agreed to stop wearing fur if she promised never to do so again.

Khloe Kardashian has a response to those that have accused her of being a hypocrite for wearing a fur coat earlier this year: my bad!

The new PETA spokeswoman, whose nude billboard has been the source of contention among critics that claim it's just a supposedly tasteful way to garner attention for posing naked, admits she used to don animal-made clothing.

But not anymore.

Khloe Kardashian has gone from modeling fur to modeling her bare body.

"As some of you might have seen today, there are several people who have taken to the web calling me a hypocrite and posting photos of me wearing fur," Khloe wrote on her blog. "The reason PETA approached me initially is because in my past I did wear fur and they wanted to educate me on the brutal ways in which animals are skinned for their pelts."

Kardashian said she watched a PETA video and:

"I was so horrified that I immediately swore off fur. I just wanted to let you know the real story behind my conscious decision and compassionate change of heart. I have changed my ways and I hope that many other people will as well."

Do you think Khloe is actually anti-fur, or just pro-publicity?

Khloe Kardashian hates fur.

But she sure loves the publicity garnered by making her views known (and taking her clothes off).

The reality TV star was spotted in Los Angeles yesterday, unveiling a billboard-sized picture of herself posing naked on behalf of PETA. The ads message: Fur? I'd rather go naked.

This is similar to the Kardashian's mantra: Lack of attention? We'll just go naked.

During the event, Khloe was accompanied by various members of her family, including a certain sister that has perfected the art of translating nudity into fame and fortune.

Kim Kardashian says she might not pose naked ever again.

Fortunately, sister Khloe Kardashian is picking up the family's nude slack!

The reality TV star is the latest in a long line of animal rights activists to garner headlines for PETA by posing in her birthday suit.

In the poster below, Khloe joins better looking fur haters - such as Holly Madison, Christina Applegate and Amanda Beard - in the attention-seeking ad campaign.
