Grammy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Heidi Klum vs. Ke$ha
Ke$ha accomplished something very impressive last month:
She took over the top spot on the album sales chart from Susan Boyle.
But the eccentric singer has an even greater challenge ahead of her now: she's been pitted against Heidi Klum in this edition of a THG Fashion Face-Off.
The artist and the really super model both posed for photographers at last night's Grammy Awards. Study their dresses carefully and chime in on this matchup's winner below...

Ke$ha Speaks on Unique Name, Song Writing and More
Take one part Lady GaGa, mix it with a dash of Madonna and toss in some Pink. The result? Burgeoning music superstar Ke$ha.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the singer explains the origin of her name's spelling, while planning for a huge 2010...
On the year ahead: Let's just pretend the world ends in 2012, I want people to live as if it's 2011 in December. I try not to think too far ahead, because I also feel like I'm trying to do as much as I can to set myself up properly. I put on the best live show, the absolute best live show I can possibly can.
On the irony of the dollar sign in her name: It's so weird, I hate champagne, so there's a song called "Party at a Rich Dude's House" where I went and peed in the champagne bottles and thought it was hilarious. Just kind of being an asshole, really, is what that song's about.
On the name of her album: Animal, the name of the record, it's kind of my steez, I have to say. I named it that because I want people to lose it when they listen to my record and go to the animal part of themselves that they suppress. Society has taught us to suppress certain things and not do certain things.
Ke$ha: I Really Am a Freak!
Ke$ha may or may not be a lesbian. It's unknown for certain.
But there's one thing the breakout singer wants to makes very clear: she really is a freak!
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the "Tik Tok" artist took exception to those that think her rebellious image is merely an act. She said:
”Go through my high school yearbooks - I always looked like a f-cking weirdo. I made my own purple velvet pants, living in Brentwood, which is like the Bible belt. And no one would talk to me in middle school... [in] 9th grade, [I] stole my mom’s minivan, drove to Atlanta, snuck into Radiohead, front row.
None of it’s bull$hit.”
Unlike Glenn Beck, Ke$ha swears her public persona is not an act. Do you believe her?
Ke$ha Could Be Gay... or Straight
Ke$ha is a rising star on the music scene.
She appeared in the Katy Perry video for "I Kissed a Girl" and her single, "Tik Tok," was the most downloaded song by a female artist in 2009.
Still, the 22-year old isn't a household name just yet, which may explain why she recently went on the record with Out magazine. There's rarely a better way to garner attention than to sound off about one's sexuality in an ambiguous manner.
Asked if she is gay, Ke$ha replied: "I wouldn’t say I’m gay or straight - I don’t like labeling things anyway. I just like people."
In a different interview, though, the artist makes it fairly clear which gender she wants to attract to the yard via her milkshake.
"Shakira is really hot... Boys are too difficult. Who’s got the time?”
As for being a role model - for the gay community, like Adam Lambert, or anyone - Ke$ha has a take on that, too:
“There are certain things young girls can look to me as a role model for – I’m not saying everything. I do think it’s an important thing that happiness and the amount of money you have are mixed. There’s absolutely no correlation, because the happiest times of my entire life have been when I didn’t have $2.”
