Ah, moms. Givers of life. Wipers of noses. Kissers of boo-boos. Today is your day. Happy Mother's Day!

It's your day to be pampered and praised with flowers, breakfast in bed, and most importantly ... NO CLEANING!

Okay, so for some moms, that sort of thing might happen every day. Like the celebrity moms who have live-in nannies and chefs and housekeepers and stylists on call and personal assistants to keep all those appointments straight.

But having all that help doesn't make them any less of a mom than the moms who don't have those things, so today we celebrate them, too.

From Beyonce to Gisele, here are 15 celebrity moms we love!

And on the flip side of the Mother's Day coin ... here are some celebrity moms who might want to read a parenting manual. Just saying ...

There's nothing scandalous about this:

Kerry Washington is a first-time mother!

Sources confirm to TMZ that the Scandal star and husband Nnamdi Asomugha. quietly welcomed a girl into the world about two weeks ago.

The blessed event took place on April 21 and the baby's name is Isabelle, though neither Washington nor Asomugha have confirmed as of yet; they are notoriously private.

This year's annual Time 100 issue features Beyonce on the cover but the celebration of celebrities doesn't end there.

Though it generally focuses more on movers and shakers in the fields of science and global politics, this year's list of the 100 most influential people features more famous faces than the poshest post-Oscar parties.

Miley Cyrus

In addition to Queen Bey, Miley Cyrus, Matthew McConaughey, Pharrell Williams and Kerry Washington all made the list for their various contributions to the worlds of art and philanthropy.

Naturally, some have taken issue with Miley's inclusion on the list at such an early (and controversial) stage in her career, but it's hard to argue when she's defended by none other than her godmother, country legend Dolly Parton:

The bad news? We still must wait many weeks for the return of Scandal Season 3.

The good news? ABC is at least whetting our appetite for more Gladiator action by releasing a sneak peek at the February 27 return episode via Facebook.

It features Olivia sitting down with Mellie and wondering why the heck the First Lady requested a lunch date, as curious photographers snap shots of the enemies from the sidewalk.

Mellie says she wants to make a "respectable woman" out of her husband's lover, but call us crazy for thinking she has an ulterior motive.

Watch Scandal online to catch up prior to this month's return and get your first look at the upcoming installment now:

Star Kerry Washington, meanwhile, celebrated a birthday last week.

The most Scandalous star on television celebrates a birthday today.

Yes, Kerry Washington is now 36 years old!

With Scandal Season 3 on hiatus until late February, fans are anxious to get their fix of D.C.'s most beautiful, vulnerable and ruthless fixer.

But Washington herself is likely happy for the hiatus: she's expecting her first child, after all, with husband Nnamdi Asomugha and the third season of her smash ABC series has been cut short by a few episodes for that important reason.

Still, you can watch Scandal online right now in order to relive Washington's best moments as Olivia Pope and then check out these photos in her honor:

ABC will air four fewer episodes of Scandal Season 3 than originally planned, and the speculation is that Kerry Washington's pregnancy is the reason.

The network on Friday didn't say why it will broadcast 18 instead of 22 episodes of the third season of the hit drama, but the writing is on the wall here.

The decision follows the news star Kerry Washington and her new husband, football player Nnamdi Asomugha are expecting their first child together.

Accommodating Washington is the only logical explanation for the early end to production of the current season of the series, one of ABC's most successful.

After next Thursday's episode, the 10th of the season, Scandal will take a break and then return in late February with the final episodes of Season 3.

There are still nine more installments of the show this season in all, and it will surely be back in the fall four a fourth full season, so all hope is not lost.

Scandal's Kerry Washington seems to be covering practically every magazine these days, but you've never seen her quite like this. Or at all like this.

On Lucky's December 2013/January 2014 cover, Washington's face is practically unrecognizable due to the lighting on her face ... and perhaps more?

Her look - an edgy, shoulder-length hairstyle with bangs, with a white and purple two-piece outfit covered with a sheer, patterned dress - also contributes.

Is it just an unusual picture skewed by the facial expression? Was the 36-year-old photoshopped to high heaven? It's unclear, but a non-issue for the star.

For her part, Kerry loves the new look like fans love Scandal Season 3. She tweeted the image with the caption, "WOOO HOOO!" and made it her Twitter avatar.

The recent Saturday Night Live host has plenty to celebrate these days. Nnamdi Asomugha married her in June 2013, and got Kerry Washington pregnant!

She's playing everyone's favorite President-loving political fixer on Scandal season 3 but Kerry Washington hosted Saturday Night Live and demonstrated that she can wear more than just a White Hat.

Washington is the 9th Black woman to host the show in its entire 38 year run, and of the 137 actors to grace the stage as cast members, only 4 of them have been African-American.

Throughout the evening, Kerry helped SNL make fun of themselves for their recent diversity issues, chiefly by pointing out that there isn't really much diversity on the show at all.

They jumped right into their self-mockery with the cold open, featuring Kerry Washington as both Michelle Obama and Oprah.

Washington also took to song and dance with a spoof of "What Does The Fox Say?" alongside Jay Pharoah. Check out "What Does My Girl Say?" and two more videos from the night after the jump.

Kerry Washington is famous for being intensely private regarding her personal life, but she was willing to weigh in on a subject that often piques fan interest:

Her sexual orientation.

Even though Kerry Washington is pregnant, and married to Nnamdi Asomugha, people speculate often that she's a lesbian, owing mainly to her private nature.

The chatter doesn't bother her one bit.

"It's interesting how much people long to fill in the gaps when someone in the public eye doesn't share their personal life. I understand their frustration," she says.

Kerry Washington is pregnant and expecting her first child, according to a newly confirmed report, months after secretly marrying NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha.

Like her Scandal alter ego Olivia Pope, she knows how to keep a secret. The 36-year-old actress is "about four months along," a pal says of Washington.

Kerry has not officially announced the pregnancy. Nor do we expect her to.

The Emmy-nominated beauty, who married San Francisco 49ers cornerback Asomugha on June 24 in Hailey, Idaho, is not one for sharing her private life.

According to reports, the couple first started dating in the summer of 2012, but few knew the 36-year-old star was even dating until they got married.

The actress said she had "learned through experience" that talking about her personal life just "doesn't work" for her. One has to respect that greatly.

Congratulations and all the best wishes to the expectant star!
