It might not get any more awesome than Kelly Clarkson.

The original American Idol is touring the country at the moment, taking fan requests at each stop and then covering classic tracks. She recently knocked Anna Nalick's "Breathe" out of the impressive park and prior to that she went with a Britney Spears single.

But outside of Detroit last night, Clarkson put on her coolest performance yet, donning a grey hoodie and making like Eminem.

Watch her version of "Lose Yourself" now, compare it to when Taylor Swift also covered this rap smash and then decide: Who did it better?

She's the American Idol champion! Again!

Based on new figures that came out on July 4, Kelly Clarkson is responsible for the top-selling single of anyone ever associated with the Fox smash, as Billboard reports "Stronger" has sold 3,510,000 copies.

Take that, Carrie Underwood!

Okay, we actually adore Carrie Underwood, but it's that artist's mark that Clarkson broke. The previous best-selling single had been "Before He Cheats," which moves 3,509,000 copies in 2006.

Overall, Underwood remains in the lead as the most popular Idol ever, however. She has moved 13,205,000 total albums as of yesterday, while Kelly is closing in with 11,664,000.

Which of these talented artists is your favorite?

Kelly Clarkson singing Coldplay? Like Usher singing Foster the People, it's a cover we can't say we saw coming, but one you'll find is memorably good.

The American Idol winner and Duets star paid a visit to the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge - the same venue as Usher's aforementioned cover - last week.

On it, she took on the Coldplay and Rihanna hit "Princess of China" in stripped down, acoustic rendition featuring just guitar, mandolin and vocals.

Watch below as she nails both Rihanna's part and Chris Martin's:

Duets debuted on ABC last night and one thing is for certain: Chris Brown fans will NOT be tuning in.

Not when the quartet of judges includes John Legend, whose girlfriend was recently the target of ridiculous death threats from Team Breezy members.

The panel also includes Robin Thicke, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles, all of whom won't merely judge aspiring singers, but actually perform with them on stage as well.

First, however, this impressive foursome opened the premiere on its own, leading off last night's episode with a rendition of "Let Me Entertain You." Watch it here:

Will you tune in for Duets?

Robin Thicke also performed on Good Morning America Friday a.m. in all his sexy glory. Follow the jump to feast your eyes that effort:

New American Idol champion Phillip Phillips should take note. He can only hope and pray to have half the career that has blessed original winner Kelly Clarkson.

The talented crooner appeared this week on the Dancing with the Stars finale and sang a medley of "Dark Side" and "Stronger," and now she's unveiled the official music video for the first track.

“Don’t run away, don’t run away, just tell me that you will stay, promise me you will stay,” Clarkson sings below. See for yourself now:

Clarkson - along with John Legend, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke - will anchor a new singing competition on ABC titled Duets. It premieres tonight.

Kelly Clarkson delivered the ever-rare Britney Spears live cover last night in concert, belting out a rendition of the pop queen's "Till the World Ends."

The inaugural American Idol winner has been performing covers of other artists, a la Taylor Swift, during her Stronger tour, and Brit Brit was on tap.

"I thought this would be a fun one you'll enjoy," she told an L.A. crowd before singing. "I know you know this song ... I expect everybody on these 'Os!'"

Kelly did an awesome job, even if she has mixed feelings about the song.

According to TooFab, she said, "I love that song. I always get this bad taste in my mouth though ... when I hear Britney Spears because usually she's my cardio music and I frickin hate cardio! I frickin' hate the gym ... the gym can suck it!"

Indeed. Way to stick it to the treadmill!

We are crazy for Kelly Clarkson.

On Saturday night - the evening before this American Idol champion belted out the national anthem and Madonna performed at halftime of Super Bowl XVLI - Clarkson took to the stage in Louisiana and also took a few fan requests.

Among them? "Crazy for You" by the Material Girl herself, a track that Kelly adorably told the crowd reminded her of a date at the skating track with some dude named Michael Webb. Note to Michael Webb: we hope you regret letting this one go.

Watch and listen below as Kelly does Madonna very proud:

While Christina Aguilera had the floor during Etta James' funeral on Saturday, and used it to belt out a version of "At Last," former American Idol champion Kelly Clarkson paid tribute to the late, great artist in her own way last week, as well.

"This isn’t ‘At Last’ because everyone really covers that and so I wanted to do my favorite, actually," Kelly told a crown in New York City. "My favorite song is ‘I’d Rather Go Blind.’ So, this is for Etta!”

On Saturday night, meanwhile, during a performance in Pennsylvania, Clarkson also announced her next single, "I Forgive You." It will hit the radio any day now.

We can't wait!
