In August, we announced the following, exciting news: Kellan Lutz is single!

Reportedly, the Twilight Saga star had broken up with long-time girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord and was back on the market. Just one problem, Lutz told Ryan Seacrest on the latter's radio show today:

He was never actually dating the actress.

"Never have been," he said when asked if he was in a relationship with AnnaLynne. "I've known her for six years, and we met again on the set [of 90210], but we shot Abercrombie [catalogs] way back in the day... she's single, and I'm very much single."

Has he ever had sexual intercourse with McCord, however? That's a different question, with a likely different answer.

Lutz was also asked about co-star Kristen Stewart. He replied: "She's awesome. She's very independent."

Uh-oh. Does Robert Pattinson have (really hot) competition on his hands? Not really.

"I think she's too independent for my blood. She's so spicy."

We're not really sure what sort of spice is shy, somber and sullen in the spotlight. But we guess Pattinson doesn't have to worry about Lutz moving in on his woman.

Like all of America, Kellan Lutz is excited for New Moon.

But the actor recently told E! News he actually thinks Eclipse will be a bigger hit because the June 2010 release will appeal to men and women.

"It's going to be one of those movies where guys who aren't fans of the Twilight series but like seeing a good kickass action movie are going to see it. And they're going to bring their girlfriends who are anti-Twilight because they don't want to be on that bandwagon," Lutz said.

As for this stud muffin's future prospects?

He loves portraying Emmett Cullen, but he has his sights set on another character:

"[I'm] focused on becoming that new action hero. I want to be Jason Bourne... and take over that franchise. I love doing stunts and shooting guns and doing fight scenes."

Sounds like the challenge is on, Matt Damon!

Of course, no interview with Lutz would be complete without asking about the actor's deliciously ripped physique.

How does he get so toned?

"I go to the gym maybe once or twice a week for 45 minutes," he said. "I hate running. I eat whatever I want. I eat pizza all the time. I have a candy drawer."

Self magazine has chosen to focus on a trio of Robsten's New Moon co-stars, as Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz and Rachelle Lefevre took time away from the Vancouver shoot to pose for a series of candid pics.

This is actually great news for Pattinson and Stewart. While the attention of fans is diverted to other Twilight cuties, Robert and Kristen can do whatever it is they do when the cameras aren't rolling. (Hint: we doubt it involves much clothing!)

Kellan Lutz rocks the look in the latest issue of August Man. That's a magazine, research suggests.

Inside the publication, the actor dishes on his character of Emmett Cullen, describing him as a "juggernaut" and saying:

“Emmett’s a bulldozer, a brute. His strength is, well, his strength. So while Jackson [Rathbone] might be working on his wiry speed and tactics, I’m building up to clothesline the enemy with my bare fist.”

Speaking of fisting, many women would like to be involved with Lutz sexually. But more so than with Lautner? Compare the shirtless hunks below and then let us know...

Kellan Lutz was spotted with a new gal at an Emmy Awards after-party on Sunday night, and the pair looks adorable in photos!

Lutz and 90210 star Jessica Stroup arrived at the HBO-sponsored shindig together. This might mean little, however, because Lutz formerly dated Stroup's co-star, AnnaLynne McCord. He and Jessica could just be friends.

But it's a lot more fun to imagine something more than that, isn't it? The duo appears quite happy in the picture below.

As someone with bulging biceps and a ripped body, Kellan Lutz often draws attention from Twilight Saga followers.

But the actor is also popular for another reason: he stars alongside tween sensations Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Therefore, fans often ask Lutz for his opinion on the rumored couple. But there's one problem.

"I don't know what's going on. I have no idea," the actor told E! News.

Without disparaging his co-workers, Lutz was refreshingly honest about Rob and Kristen. He said he's not really friends with the pair.

"They're just so complex, and I like to laugh and smile. I don't hang out with Rob or Kristen."

Despite not being tight with his fellow hunk, Lutz has to admit: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are far from ugly.

"They are attractive humans, yes they are," he said. "I'm nice with Rob, also. I look great with him, too. I think I look better with Rob... [he's] awesome. I love him to death."

As for the shooting of Eclipse, Lutz says it's going very well. It could be going better, though, if those annoying celebrity gossip photographers would get a life.

"It's going great. We all love Vancouver. It's just that there's just so many paparazzi everywhere. We've been moving around to new places like every two weeks. Especially for Rob, we feel bad for him. Like, we go out to cast dinners, and whenever Rob's shooting, that's when we can have free time because usually that's when everyone is trying to shoot Rob or Kristen."

They haven't been successful so far. To the dismay of many Robsten fans, the couple has been well-guarded against on-set pics during their most recent shoot.

Earlier this week, AnnaLynne McCord hosted a pool party at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

We know the actress didn't eat at the event, but it sounds like she may have put something in her mouth away from the cameras.

Witnesses spied Twilight Saga hunk Kellan Lutz surprising his ex-girlfriend at her private cabana. The pair reportedly spent some time behind the curtains, only for Lutz to leave a few moments later, sporting a baseball cap and trying to appear inconspicuous.

The couple, who had dated for months, supposedly ended their relationship in early August. A little break-up sex never hurt anyone, though, did it?

Meanwhile, McCord attended a 90210 season two launch party in Los Angeles last night. Some sort of S&M undergarmet peaked out from her tanktop, as we can only imagine she was meeting Kellan again after the festivities. Lord knows we would...
