Stop the celebrity gossip presses! Keith Urban has some important news about his famous relationship:

Nicole Kidman is not pregnant.

But when the country singer was asked by the UK's Sunday Times if he's looking forward to fatherhood, he said: "I am. Next year actually would be lovely."

At the moment, though, timing isn't ideal. Kidman is currently Down Under with costar Hugh Jackman, shooting the historical epic Australia for director Baz Luhrmann.

In other shocking news, Urban admitted that he didn't fall in love with Nicole's on-screen persona. He hasn't even seen all her movies! But the man who made Tara Conner look sober says that's a good thing.

"You know, it was a different kind of familiarity" he says, "a mystic familiarity."

As for how the marriage has changed him, Urban can barely even answer the question: "Oh God, in every way. I am more selfless and I am learning so much about myself from loving her. I am more comfortable with who I am because at the core I'm happy. It's a beautiful journey."

Getting down to the important stuff, though, the singer was asked if Kidman makes like Rachael Ray at all. No, we don't mean selling out by shilling for Dunkin Donuts. We mean, does Nicole cook?

"A little bit, yes," Keith says. "But I like being supportive and I've had a good chance to be that. It makes me happy. Having that contentedness now at home means that I actually love being home."

In the end, this music legend battle his addiction every day, but a happy marriage helps the cause.

"I learnt a lot about addiction in the last six months," he says. "I think there's a certain amount of denial in addicts, but also legitimate ignorance about what the problem is, how it manifests itself. It's easy to think, ‘Oh, I just went through a bad patch,' and not realize the core of the problem. The disease of addiction requires a particular way of living every day."

If you're Lindsay Lohan, that way of living involves snorting cocaine and partying into the morning.

Keith Urban, who has battled cocaine and alcohol addiction, says his wife saved his life. But the kids from her previous marriage? Not so much.

While the 39-year-old country music star hopes one day to have children of his own, he says he doesn't spend much time with Nicole Kidman's kids.

Those would be Connor and Isabella Cruise, Nicole's two adopted kids from her previous marriage with that psycho Tom Cruise.

"I don't get to see the kids as much as probably a lot of stepdads would, but it is a good relationship," he told the UK's Sunday Telegraph.

But the male half of Kurban promises he'd be much more hands-on with his own progeny than he is with any adopted Tom Cruise offspring.

"I am looking forward to fatherhood," he told the paper. "I have always wanted to be a good dad."

"My brother's got two kids and he's an excellent dad and I think we both have that sense of being home and being solid family guys."

She'd definitely be a pregnant beauty like Bridget Moynahan, but don't expect the 39-year-old Kidman to pose for any provocative "baby bump" pictures if the couple goes down that road.

"If we were plastered in the magazines all the time and got pictures willingly, it would wear off and probably people wouldn't want them so much," he says.

In an subtle dig at his insane predecessor, Keith adds: "I would just rather have a more quiet life, like we do. It is relatively quiet compared to most, I think."

The lovely Nicole Kidman opened up about her marriage to Keith Urban on Oprah Winfrey's Oscar special Thursday night.

"Keith is doing very well," Kidman told fellow Aussie Oscar-winner Russell Crowe, who actually interviewed her. "We've been through a lot."

When Crowe began to ask her another question, she interrupted.

"Let me finish that because that will be seen as a superficial answer and I don't like to give those," Nicole Kidman said.

"We've dug really deep. Three months into our marriage we had to dig really deep. And that's what we are doing. We're in the process of doing that."

"Very courageous of him to just pack up his toothbrush and go into rehab," Crowe said. "He must have you at the very forefront of everything he's thinking."

"You'll make me cry now - stop it," Kidman replied.

Kidman and Urban, both 39, wed in June.

In October, Keith Urban checked into rehab for a three-month stay.

The country crooner told Matt Lauer of his relationship with Kidman:

"They say grief makes hearts and closer bonds than joy ever can. We've been through a lot, and she's been extraordinary."

Kidman also told Crowe that she'd like to have more kids. She's already mom to adopted Isabella and Connor Cruise, 14 and 12, respectively, from her days spent married to that crazy Tom Cruise. "Am I going to have a baby? I hope so," she said.

Crowe asked, "Are you going to carry a baby? I would hope so. I want to see you walking around barefoot and pregnant."

"I'd like to see that, too," she replied, smiling.

Keith Urban says words can't describe the lessons he and his wife have learned from his recent stint in rehab.

"I can't really quantify it, because it's not a soundbite what we've learned," the singer said about himself and Nicole Kidman on Friday's Today show. "But," he added, "it's really profound."

Today's Matt Lauer, noting that things had looked good for Urban before he headed to rehab in October â€" he'd married Kidman just four months earlier, and was about to release a new album â€" asked why he later said life had been "unmanageable."

"This disease of addiction, you know, it's nothing to do with contentedness and happiness, because I had all of that," replied Urban, who has admitted to a past addiction to cocaine and previously underwent rehab in 1998. "But I wasn't doing what I should be doing to maintain the road I was on previously, so it was a big wake-up call to get back on the road."

Perhaps the statements made by Amanda Wyatt played a role in Keith's troubles, as well.

But not according to Urban, who just said "it was just time. I could see where it was going. It was coming at me in a way that was very apparent that this is not me, you know what I mean? I think anybody out there who is in this situation recognizes it's not me, it's something else."

Fortunately for fans, Kurban has survived. They're a strong pairing.

No naked picture of Cisco Adler is gonna break this couple up.

Nicole Kidman looked so happy as she supported her drug-addicted husband over the holidays.

But looks can be deceiving. Almost as deceiving as Keith Urban himself.

Kidman and Urban go Australian

While the couple was reuniting and Kurban fans everywhere were celebrating, part-time lingerie model Amanda Wyatt was opening up ... about the affair she had with Urban while he was married to Kidman.

"I'm sorry if I hurt Nicole, but I just want to tell the truth and move on," Wyatt, pictured here with Urban in 2005, said. "I hope that she finds happiness with him, but Keith is a deeply troubled man."

Poor Nicole. First, she was married to Tom Cruise and then he went insane. Now, she's forced to deal with infidelity.

On the plus side, Kidman looks beautiful in recent pictures with Daniel Craig. But those won't keep her warm at night. We wish her the best of luck.

Remember that whole thing about Keith Urban being out of rehab? We were just joking.

Actually, we were serious that he was out - just not permanently. The rocker was reunited with wife, Nicole Kidman, in Sydney on Wednesday, but it's just a reprieve for the holidays.

"Keith is on a leave in Australia to be with his family during the holidays," Urban's publicist, Paul Freundlich, said. "This is a natural occurrence at this point in his treatment. He will continue with his rehab upon his return."

Ok. So Tara Conner can breathe easier now. Other famous people still have drug problems.

Kidman and Urban - aka Kurban - were photographed outside the Sydney offices of United International Pictures â€" their first appearance in public together since Urban checked into rehab in October.

This visit marks Urban's first time in Australia since he married Kidman in a lavish Sydney wedding in June. The couple has been based mainly in Nashville, Tenn.

We hope Keith kicks his problem. We also hope Hayden Panettiere is in the news more often. Just sayin.

Looks like all is well in the land of Kurban. Or at least moving in the right direction. Nicole Kidman was picked up by recently-rehabbed hubby Keith Urban, from what sources say was some type of support meeting. See below:

Kidman and Urban exchanged marriage vows in late June ... then a wasted Urban took the Alcoholics Anonymous pledge in late October. Katie Holmes joined the cult Church of Scientology and married Kidman's ex, Tom Cruise, in November.

But hey, they're all on good terms now. Maybe Keith will share the love and recruit Nicole Richie and/or Lindsay Lohan to join him at his next AA meeting.

As if Nicole Kidman was not having a good enough week with her interview being posted on The Hollywood Gossip, now the love of her life is back in the free world.

Over the weekend, Keith Urban was let out of rehab and reunited with his wife of five months.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Celebrate

The couple had brunch on Sunday at the Polo Lounge in Los Angeles.

Urban had been in the in-patient rehabilitation program since October 19 and was expected to stay there for 35-40 days.

Unlike Lindsay Lohan and her half-hearted attempts to sober up, this crooner actually dedicated himself to the cause.

We're very proud of him for doing so. Others, such as the problematic Pete Doherty, may wish to follow suit.

This was not Urban's first stint in rehab.

In 1998, the singer checked into the Cumberland Heights treatment center in Nashville, seeking treatment for cocaine and alcohol addiction.

We do hope it was his last, however.

Otherwise, you just know Tom Cruise is gonna step in with some serious Scientology bulls$%t.

When Keith Urban, 39, took home the best male vocalist trophy at the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville on November 6 (Carrie Underwood took the female vocalist prize), pal Ronnie Dunn ran onstage to read a letter penned by the star: "I'm pained not being there with y'all tonight," it said.

Where was he, you ask?

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban

T.H. Gossip has learned that, since he entered treatment for alcoholism on October 19, Nicole Kidman's husband of four months has been in an inpatient program at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California, where celebs such as Johnny Cash and Anna Nicole Smith have gotten help.

THG NOTE: Whatever "help" Anna Nicole Smith got, it wasn't enough.

Keith is expected to be in rehab for 35-40 days, a source close to Kidman reports. During that time, he'll attend group therapy, lectures and spiritually focused programs (costs start at $21,000).

On November 5, Kidman, also 39, dropped by for a two-hour visit. No word on whether undercover Scientology operatives hired by ex-husband Tom Cruise were tailing her.

"They look forward to resuming their life together," says a source.

Although October 26 marked Keith Urban's 39th birthday, the occasion was less than celebratory. Urban, who's been pulling a Nicole Richie (minus the whole starvation thing), spent the day in a treatment center for alcohol abuse. It's quite sad, and leaves many questioning the future prospects of Kurban.

Meanwhile, Keith's wife of four months, Nicole Kidman, also 39, dined at the Beverly Hills restaurant Matsuhisa, ordering sashimi along with a smattering of her Australian relatives.

Cameron and Tom

"It was a quiet dinner," says an observer of their one-hour meal. "Nicole seemed happy to be with her family."

And her friends: The night before, Kidman took her nephew (below) for dinner at the home of BFF and fellow Aussie Naomi Watts.

As for Urban, a source close to the singer says he may have HAD to go to rehab because of a condition in his prenup with Kidman, who shares two adopted children, Connor (below), 11, and Isabella, 13, with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise.

"Nicole's lawyer put this clause in to demonstrate to Tom that Keith's past problems wouldn't affect the kids," says the source.

Urban did a stint in rehab for cocaine addiction in 1998. Cruise was clearly worried about his instability and its impact on his children. For good reason, apparently.

Say what you will about TomKat, the craziness regarding their upcoming wedding, and the whole mystery surrounding Suri Cruise/Bjork. Tom Cruise has shown he's a caring father -- and while we're not about to heap credit on him for what he's supposed to be doing, he could be Bobby Brown. Remember that.
