She wouldn't be the first, but you can see why her friends and family are concerned about this impending romantic disaster. A source close to the singer said of their relationship:

“Katy’s friends and family haven’t taken to John at all, in fact they are quite worried that she is headed for heartbreak ... it’s clear that she is totally in love with him."

“At first, she was careful and said she wasn’t ready for a relationship and just wanted to have fun. But now she appears to have fallen dangerously in love with him and her friends are concerned."

That's what you get for waking up in Vegas ... with John Mayer.

Katy Perry and her on-again, off-again maybe-boyfriend are not only hanging out again, they're doing so at strip clubs in Vegas. Good. Times.

They were spotted in Sin City early Sunday morning with a group of friends, having spent their night out at famed strip joint Spearmint Rhino.

Katy and John recently began canoodling again after a brief split.

"They were together in a group," an onlooker said of the pair. "As for whether they got dances, they were in a strip club ... you do the math."

What math there is to do (beyond how many $12.50 Bud Lights one can rack up on a single tab) it's unclear, but they stayed out until 5 a.m.!

Earlier in the evening, Perry and Mayer checked into the Wynn Hotel - site of the now-infamous Prince Harry nude shenanigans - together.

Despite reports that the couple called it quits in August, the duo was spotted canoodling at the FYF concert in downtown Los Angeles Saturday night.

Perry and Mayer rocked out in the VIP section at the music festival, dancing together and stealing kisses as they watched a number of bands perform live.

Mayer, wearing his new trademark cowboy hat, even wrapped his arms around the "Wide Awake" singer at one point, with her wearing a floral print dress.

While the pair's appearance at the concert was low-key, a few fans spotted them in the audience, snapping John Mayer and Katy perry pics.

Music stars Katy Perry and John Mayer, who've been spending quite a bit of time together lately, were spotted out and about again this weekend.

This time, they were leaving a house party in Los Feliz on Saturday.

The pair, who has kept mum on whether or not they're dating, got into the same car upon exiting the shindig. You know what that means, people.

That they're reducing their carbon footprint. And maybe having sex.

Earlier in the week, she was seen being dropped off after spending the night at his house, and it's not the first time for the possible lovebirds.

A source told E! recently that Katy Perry and John Mayer have been "laying low" at the latter's home, hanging out and having "sleepovers" together.

Wrong. Just wrong.

Amid rumors that they've been hooking up, Katy Perry and John Mayer were photographed together for the first time in L.A. on Wednesday night.

Perry, 27, and Mayer, 34, had dinner at Chateau Marmont, an observer tells Us Weekly, adding that they were "holding hands across the table."

They were also "sneaking kisses" and "laughing." Yeah.

How serious things are between them is far from clear, but they were definitely on a date, as evidenced by the photo below of them leaving together:

Katy Perry and John Mayer were first linked last month after reports of their a, moderately PDA-filled date at Soho House in West Hollywood.

"They were affectionate, holding hands and cuddling!" an observer said.

Mayer, whose include Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, Minka Kelly, Jennifer Love Hewitt and others, hung out at her house the very next night.

Perry recently finalized her divorce from Russell Brand and split with Florence and the Machine rocker Robert Ackroyd after a brief relationship.

Katy Perry may totally be over Russell Brand for good, but she’s still staying close to her more recent ex, guitarist Robert Ackroyd, according to reports.

On Wednesday, the “Part of Me” singer reunited with the Florence + the Machine member in London, where she's promoting her new 3D film.

The pair, who reportedly broke up after a month of dating, were spotted having dinner at the Dove before leaving the trendy eatery together.

According to reports, Katy was the one who called it quits after the couple were seen canoodling at the 2012 Coachella Music Festival in May.

“It wasn’t that serious. It’s not a nasty thing and they are still talking, but Katy told him to do his thing,” a source told Us Weekly at the time.

From all accounts, they remained close and there were “no hard feelings.”

Since her marriage ended, Katy has been pretty vocal about what went down with her divorce, both through song and through interviews.

“I think sometimes people think that we’re perfect, and we’re not, at all,” she said, and that means more than showing Katy Perry without makeup.

“I think it’s important [to] start breaking down the idea that you always have to be perfect, or flawless or live in some kind of fantasy world."

No real confirmation yet on whether Robert Ackroyd getting back together with her is anything more than fantasy, but stay tuned.

Katy Perry and Robert Ackroyd may or may not be "dating" but they are definitely hooking up. These photos of them at Coachella leave no doubt about that.

The pop sensation and the Florence and The Machine guitarist, who were also spotted together at the music festival last weekend, were all over each other.

According to some reports, Katy, who was linked to Baptiste Giabiconi just last month, was already referring to him as her "boyfriend." One can see how:

Looks like Perry is ready to move on from her soon-to-be ex-husband Russell Brand, who filed for divorce back in December after 14 months of marriage.

Brand and Perry have been on relatively good terms since then, with Brand refusing to make a play for Katy's money and expressing nary a harsh word.
