While Carrie Underwood's dress lit up Staples Center last night, Katy Perry's revealing, light green gown was the Grammys' true eye-popper. Like, whoa.

Despite CBS' directive urging stars to "please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered," the singer donned this dress Sunday.

"I was inspired by Priscilla Presley in the '70s," Perry explained on the red carpet when asked about her jaw-dropping look. "The big hair, closer to God."

Or something. Needless to say, Katy Perry's dress quickly became a trending topic on Twitter after she appeared on the red carpet, setting fans abuzz.

The consensus was that it wasn't a great look for KP - unless you're a straight guy - and that John Mayer was the big winner of the 2013 Grammy Awards.

USA women's soccer star Alex Morgan channels her inner Katy Perry in the new ESPN the Magazine, which is devoted to the worlds of music and sports.

In the publication, which also features an interesting Ryan Lochte Nirvana homage, Alex makes like Katy on the singer's "One of the Boys" cover:

Sports Illustrated wins for featuring Alex Morgan nude last year, but wow.

These two ladies may or may not be one of the boys, but the Olympic champion, 23, and pop superstar, 28, clearly know how to drive the boys crazy.

The obvious question: Who's hotter?!

Russell Brand discussed John Mayer and Katy Perry with Howard Stern earlier this week, and his pop star ex was spared any truly brutal comments.

At least considering this is Russell Brand and Howard Stern.

"What do you make of your ex-wife dating John Mayer?" Stern asked, getting right down to it. "Doesn't she know that he's a worse womanizer than you?"

"Worse or better, depending on how you view it," Brand joked.

Katy Perry makes one convincing male '70s game show host. Who knew!?

In an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' show Friday, the 28-year-old singer channeled her inner Pat Sajak and lived out an unexpected childhood fantasy:

Katy's wig in particular earned a special shout-out: "I asked for the Anne Hathaway," she joked, before launching into a game called "Grab Ellen's Bust."

To play, two lucky audience members had to answer some trivia questions about the host, who turns 55 tomorrow, while grabbing a bust of her likeness.

If this whole pop superstar thing doesn't work out, Katy Perry definitely has a fallback option as a cross-dressing game show host caught in a time warp.

A weatherman at KTLA 5 (Los Angeles), upon seeing a snippet of Katy Perry's inauguration performance, came to a simple, but profound conclusion:

Katy Perry is crazy.

Her skin-tight red, white and blue outfit certainly was eye-popping, but these local TV personalities went a step beyond that in their assessment.

According to them, KP is full-on nuts.

Appropriately dressed (or maybe inappropriately, given the audience) in a tight red, white and blue outfit, Katy Perry rocked the 2013 Kids' Inaugural Concert Saturday.

"I'm very proud to be here and to see the Obamas and the Bidens here for four more years," Perry said during her star-spangled performance in D.C.

First Lady Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia were dancing and throwing their hands up as the pop star sang in honor of America's military families.

Those families, Michelle noted, are who this nation is all about.

"Now, inauguration is a pretty big deal," said the First Lady. "But I have to tell you that my very favorite part of this entire weekend is being right here with all of you."
