Katy Perry is loving life these days. She's newly married and her music is climbing the charts. Her impact on popular culture has even been honored by Glee.

A number of music stars of different genres, namely Lady Gaga, Madonna and Britney Spears, have gotten the Glee treatment so far. Now it's Katy's turn.

The Fox show's cast recently put together a terrific cover of "Teenage Dream," and Mrs. Russell Brand immediately took to Twitter to express her approval.

Katy Perry is the latest star to be immortalized on Glee.

"Oh… My… Gosh… this just brought a sweet tear to my eye! Teenage Dream on GLEE makes my heart go WEEEE!" wrote Katy, and we must say we AGREEEE!

Rihanna and Katy Perry may be good friends, but friends occasionally fight. Or are pitted against each other in red carpet style showdowns, at least!

At the MTV Europe Music Awards Sunday night, the music stars showcased their unique styles as only they can, and we have to say, pulled it off well.

Who looked better on the red carpet?

Russell Brand is pretty awesome, and it's hard to blame Katy Perry for gushing about her new husband. But deifying the man, that we didn't see coming.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand just got married in India last month. The sexy pop star told Harper’s Bazaar: “I always knew I wanted a great man of God."

"Someone who's an inspiration for people and also a lovely husband and father. We’re at different places in our lives, but we can still grow together.

Okay, maybe Katy's got a point. Look at the man.

Of her spouse, Katy continues, “He’s thought-provoking, articulate, a real advocate. I also definitely wanted to have a laugh. I have all that in him.”

Perry, who describes herself as a 10 out of 10 in bed, also talked to the mag about her unique fashion style, body image and what makes her tick.

“I’m kind of a good girl, and I’m not,” Perry says.

Maybe it's boasting, but somehow it fits. If Katy Perry rated herself a 5-6, that just wouldn't fit with our perception of her or boost her record sales much.

Her childhood may have been a bit sheltered, but as an adult, the pop star has no qualms about her wild ways in the bedroom with husband Russell Brand.

"Like Ludacris raps, 'I'm a lady in the street and a freak in the bed,'" she told Now Magazine. "If you ask Russell I'm sure he'd give me a 10 out of 10."

GOLD STANDARD: Katy Perry sets it, bedroom-style.

The pair, who got married in India last month, are happy as can be, and Perry isn't worried about her hubby straying, despite a history of skirt-chasing.

"He's made no secret of his life before me, but that's then and this is the future," she said. "He's cheated in the past but he knows how good he has it with me and I know he'd never do anything to jeopardize that. I trust him 100 percent."

If the "Firework" is really a 10 out of 10, why bother?!

Katy Perry's new video for "Firework" debuted online this week, and the newly-minted Mrs. Russell Brand says she's dedicating it to bullied gay youth.

On her Twitter Wednesday, she posted "I am officially dedicating my new video to #itgetsbetter, because everyone has the spark to be a FIREWORK."

Call her what you want, she turns 26 today! Born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson in Santa Barbara, Calif., the daughter of Christian pastor parents has gone on to become one of the bigger stars in music today, and just tied the knot this weekend!

Russell Brand and Katy Perry tied the knot Saturday night in India.

The couple "were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Brand on Saturday, October 23," they said after marrying in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends and performed by a Christian minister and longtime friend of Katy's family.

We couldn't be happier for the two of them.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand exchanged wedding vows at a luxury resort, with the backdrop "the inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India."

In the days leading up to the nuptials (which you can follow this link to read all about), Brand and Perry have been pulling out all the stops for their guests.

It sounds like the result was a near-perfect event. Despite the lavishness of certain aspects of the wedding, Russell said it was all about keeping it simple.

Solange Knowles claims Katy Perry is "polluting the chirrens." In English, she means polluting the children, which still doesn't really make sense, but closer.

Beyonce's sister's beef is with Katy's video for "California Gurls," which Solange's son Julez (yup, with a Z) was watching on Youtube. Solange is not happy.

Rather than simply turning on the parental controls or speaking to her kid about it, Solange is ripping Katy and her "kiddie porn." Not an exaggeration at all.

Solange hates "California Gurls." And spelling.

Her exact words were: "But seriously. Iontlike the fact dat Julez thinks he gotta sneak & watched California gurls on u tube. Katy Perry is polluting the chirrens."

"It is like kiddie porn tho. All of them damn colors, candy and shit ... and then the daisy dukes, breast shooting cream ... And then Elmo and Tits!?"

Hey, if Katy Perry on Sesame Street is deemed a bad fit by the show, that's one thing. But leave her daisy dukes alone and do your job, Solange!

The German festival Oktoberfest is known for its attendees busting out very large beers. But this year's event was celebrated by a trio of women busting out their... very large busts.

Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian and Salma Hayek all donned the traditional dirndl dress at various event overseas last month, as Kim Tweeted: "I love Germany! It’s Vonderful here!"

Katy Perry is too hot for Sesame Street.

Fortunately, this story was picked up on by Saturday Night Live, which Katy performed on this week, and she made light of it in a very low-cut Elmo top in a sketch.

The singer played a 16-year old library volunteer, Maureen DiChico, appearing on a mock daytime talk show, Bronx Beat, hosted by Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph:

The talk show hosts, naturally, obsessed over her chest.

"Kaboom!" one says. The other adds, "Look at Elmo's head, it's all stretched out!" Happily amused, Perry's character bounces up and down happily. High comedy.

Her character then tells the ladies she has been ordered to wear looser-fitting clothing when she reads to children at the local library. Sounds vaguely familiar.

One host snips, "Who cares if kids are looking at boobs - boobs feed babies, alright?" We'd love it if someone made that argument to Sesame Street producers.

Katy's fiance, Russell Brand, who was recently arrested, later Tweeted: "Today's Sesame Street will NOT be brought to you by the number 34 or the letter D."
