Jersey Shore only aired 10 episodes this winter, but that was enough to lure in millions of fans, make celebrities of the cast and introduce plenty of new vocabulary words, slang terminology and acronyms into the pop culture lexicon.

Case in point: The lovely Katy Perry was seen headed from the gym to Fred Segal's in W. Hollywood over the weekend wearing a shirt proclaiming simply GTL.

GTL, for those unfamiliar with Jersey Shore quotes, stands for Gym, Tan, Laundry. As in the daily routine of some of the Garden State guidos we grew to love.

While Vinny Guadagnino said that he prefers BPB (basketball, pool, beach), he was sadly outnumbered among the male cast members, and the term stuck.

Katy Perry had an action-packed night at Saturday's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, presenting an award to Miley Cyrus, getting slimed hard core and laying a kiss on the hot piece of baby-faced prepubescent hotness that is Justin Bieber.

She's not afraid to suggest, half-seriously, that she would totally go there.

"Told you I would tap that. Yummy," the 25-year-old said on Twitter.

Katy's got the picture to prove it, too. Prepare to be jealous, girls:

Because Perry is engaged to Russell Brand and Bieber is just 16 going on 10, this relationship would likely never work. But check out that look in her eyes?

She's totally thinking about going statutory, and who can blame her? Better not cross him, though, or the lil' pip squeak will diss her like he did Mariah Carey.

Last night's Grammy Awards featured the best in music. And fashion ...in theory. Both Katy Perry and Britney Spears may appear on the worst-dressed list.

Should they be, though? Katy's flesh-tone dress certainly showcased her voluptuous figure, with none of the cleavage which we've grown accustomed to.

Way to mix it up and keep things interesting, girl!

Meanwhile, Britney Spears rocked long brunette curls and a black lace Dolce & Gabbana dress over a bodysuit, paired with fishnet stockings. Classy.

Who looked better at the Grammy Awards?

Aside from Andrew Garcia, American Idol fans weren't treated to incredible performances last night, as only 22 contestants received a ticket to Hollywood.

But they were treated to a couple tense exchanges between guest judge Katy Perry and Kara DioGuardi, as the former made herself right at home on the panel.

After Kara talked up the personal story of Chris Golightly, for example, Perry shot back: "This is not a Lifetime movie, sweetheart."

Then, when Kara began singing "I Kissed a Girl," Perry responded: "Please stop before I throw my Coke in your face!"

It was great, entertaining stuff - which made us excited to hear that Katy would actually consider the gig full-time. She told MTV today:

"The American Idol experience was awesome. If I was offered that job as a permanent host, I would ditch my career and take on that career."

She continued: "It's kind of like judging a talent show. American Idol was great fun. It was so easy. I didn't really make anybody cry, but I did tell the truth to some kids that might have needed to hear it."

Of course, Perry knows the hard part is yet to come. She didn't have to make any difficult cuts during Hollywood Week and beyond.

"I guess the pressure gets really on when you start eliminating the number of people that are going through," she said. "Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, and then you've got the final two. That can be kind of tense and stressful."

Still, sounds like Perry would consider a permanent spot alongside Randy, Kara and Ellen DeGeneres next season. Do you wanna see her as a judge?

Buzz is building online that Russell Brand got Katy Perry pregnant.

While this is purely speculative at this time, Katy's recent Twitter remarks have People wondering. The pregnancy rumors started with a January 1 message:

“Let me tell you 2010 is BUMPIN!” Then this past Friday, the cute singer wrote, “Hey @rustyrockets” – Russell Brand’s Twitter name – “i heard ur prego-ed.”

She adds, “I WANT IN AND OUT,” in reference to the delicious Southern California hamburger chain, before telling Brand, “I love you … (awwwww barf!).”

It just works somehow.

Katy, like many other stars, likes to Tweet a lot. We're not talking about non-stop, desperate, Tila Tequila-style Twittering, but she sure does love to Tweet.

The two just got engaged in India. The pregnancy gossip is likely much ado about nothing, although we hold out hope for a Perry/Brand shotgun wedding.

On December 28, we reported that Katy Perry and Russell Brand might be engaged. Today, you can officially take "might be" out of the equation!

The crazy pair, who have been together for just a few months, decided to make it official five days ago while on vacation together in Jaipur, India.

A pal says that Russell Brand proposed and Katy Perry said yes. Then he kissed a girl, ladies and gentlemen, and she liked it. Sorry, that was bad.

The exotic trip, a Perry pal said, "was his Christmas gift. She told him she loved Indian culture while they were in England, so he surprised her."

Looks like he had more than one surprise in store!

Katy Perry and Russell Brand just work as a couple.

On her Twitter page December 29, the pop singer shared a sweet snapshot of her and the zany British comedian in front of India's famed Taj Mahal.

"He built this for me," she wrote beneath the photo.

On New Year's Day, Katy Perry shared another tourist photo: her hand being painted with a traditional Henna tattoo. "Isn't it lovely?" she wrote.

At November's MTV Europe Music Awards, Perry paid tribute to Brand via her on-stage underpants, emblazoned with his nickname, "Rusty."

Perry has "never connected with anybody like this," says a friend of the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star, who is reportedly "super into her."

Good to hear! And congrats!

He's a notorious ladies' man; they just started dating in October; and no named sources have gone on record with confirmation of their engagement.

For those reasons, we're hesitant to officially announce that Russell Brand and Katy Perry have agreed to marry - but that's exactly what Great Britain's The Daily Mirror is reporting.

“Russell knows Katy’s the one for him," an insider told the newspaper, saying Brand popped the question during a pre-Christmas ski trip. “He’s never been into a girl like he has with her and they’re besotted. He asked her to marry him last week and she quickly said yes."

Brand and Perry will tie the knot in 2010, the source claims.

If this article is true, we'll be one of the first to congratulate Brand and Perry. They do look cute together, don't they?

“Katy’s thrilled with Russell and how he is ­making so much effort," the insider said. "Russell also has the ­approval of Katy’s ­parents and everyone in the pair’s close circle knows about the ­engagement.”

Katy Perry may have kissed a girl and she may have liked it. But does she also enjoy resembling a girl?

The singer appears to have something in common with actress Camilla Belle, as the pair has been spotted out in the same dress.

We think we know why Belle donned an outfit similar to another brunette beauty: with Joe Jonas reportedly stalking her, Camilla was likely trying to blend in and throw him off track.

Did it work? We can't say. Does Belle look hotter than Perry? That's up to you to decide...
