Katie Stevens auditioned for American Idol in Boston. She received approval from all four judges after singing "At Last" by Etta James for her try-out.
The aspiring contestant speaks fluent Portuguese and has a unique bond with her grandmother who, sadly, has Alzheimer's disease.
Stevens is a high school student from Middlebury, Connecticut and is 17 years old. She plays guitar.
