Dr. Conrad Murray, the terrible physician convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the 2009 death of Michael Jackson, is still not showing remorse.

Moreover, he's taking new shots at MJ's mother.

In a phone interview, Conrad Murray accuses 82-year-old Katherine Jackson of letting him down and "failing to be there" while he was alive.

Asked if he'd ask forgiveness from Katherine for giving the insomniac star a cocktail of drugs that led to his death, Murray was incredulous.

"Mrs Jackson does not have to forgive me because I am not responsible for his death," he said. "There is nothing for her to forgive me for."

"I would say this: Is anyone willing to ever forgive Mrs. Jackson for failing to be the mother she could have been for her son? Would Michael forgive his mother for not being the mother that he wanted to be there all the time?"

Yeah.

Now serving four years at Los Angeles County Jail, Murray said he would be more than happy to sit down and talk with Katherine Jackson.

Somehow we don't see that invite being extended.

Katherine Jackson says she will not press charges against her kids after she was allegedly tricked into spending about 10 days shacked up at a luxury spa in Arizona without her phone in what some believe was an attempted coup against Michael Jackson's estate.

Her attorney Perry Sanders said, “This chapter of chaos is closed, and we are supportive of family unity in spite of recent events and arguably poor decisions.”

Katherine first went missing from her home in Calabasas, Calif., on July 14.

In a sworn declaration filed last week, the 82-year-old Jackson family matriarch claimed she planned to drive to see her sons perform in New Mexico on that day, but a doctor advised her to fly instead. She did as instructed.

When she got off her private plane, she found herself in Arizona.

There, she was put up at a luxury spa, cut off from technology and kept in the dark about the state of Michael’s children - Prince Michael, 15, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10 - for days while they had no clue what was going on either.

Janet Jackson's attorney has released a new statement reiterating the star's concern with the executors of her late brother Michael Jackson‘s will.

The statement makes clear that Janet, who is barred from mother Katherine Jackson's home, is not motivated by money with her criticisms.

The 46-year-old, whose net work is estimated at $150 million, alleges that the executors do not have his children's best interests at heart.

Her lawyer, Blair Brown, released the following statement Friday:

“Since the loss of Michael Jackson, Janet, Randy, and Rebbie's principal concern has been and continues to be for the safety and well-being of Michael's children, their mother Katherine Jackson, and the entire family."

"Unfortunately, those people have been harmed by actions of the executors of Michael's estate, the estate's lawyer, and those installed and paid to do their bidding.”

"The effect of that notice [barring Janet, Randy and Rebbie from KJ's home] is not only is to damage fundamental family relationships, it is also to isolate Katherine Jackson from anyone questioning the validity of Michael's will."

"It is important to stress that Janet, Randy and Rebbie have all questioned the validity of the will with no financial motive whatsoever - they stand to gain nothing financially by a finding that the will is invalid."

The Jackson family turmoil appears to be simmering down as matriarch Katherine Jackson was reinstated as a guardian of her grandchildren today.

The news comes less than 24 hours after Jermaine Jackson put forth an "olive branch" and backed off his challenge to late brother Michael's will.

At a hearing Thursday, Judge Mitchell Beckloff said Katherine was doing a "wonderful job" with MJ's kids, Prince, 15, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10.

"It's clear that the children are well cared for by Mrs. Jackson," he said, according to the L.A. Times. "It is clear to me they love her very much."

The judge also said that the kids' cousin T.J. Jackson, 34, who was named temporary guardian at an earlier emergency hearing, would remain so.

The ruling came after MJ's brother Jermaine said he had withdrawn his signature from a letter calling Michael's will "fake, flawed and fraudulent."

Jermaine, Tito, Rebbie, Randy and Janet Jackson accused the executors of the estate of mismanagement and possibly harming Katherine Jackson.

Relations haven't thawed entirely, however. In a court declaration, Katherine seems to suggest she was tricked into traveling to Arizona last month.

Jermaine Jackson, one of the main players in the family revolt against the Michael Jackson Estate, has officially defected from the rebellion ... mostly.

While he has "deep reservations" about their conduct, Jermaine is bowing out of official efforts to challenge the power of his late brother's executors.

"I rescind my signature from the letter which was sent to the Estate, and which should never have gone public," Jermaine Tweeted Wednesday.

"I still hold deep reservations about many issues involving the Estate," he adds.

"I will continue to bring scrutiny and a resolute voice wherever we have great cause for concern. But the way to address such matters is through the proper channels and via a private dialogue, not public conflict."

"In this spirit, I offer this statement by way of extending an olive-branch."

That would be long overdue, following their apparent coup attempt to wrest guardianship of Michael's kids away from their grandmother and guardian.

The Jackson family feud has simmered down somewhat, but relations are still icy as four of Michael's siblings are now banned from their mom's house.

Michael Jackson's kids Prince, Blanket and Paris Jackson - subjects of a bizarre custody feud - are currently staying at Katherine Jackson's L.A. home.

The kids' cousin and temporary guardian, T.J. Jackson, has been advised by lawyers for the Michael Jackson estate on who should not be allowed in.

As such, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie and Janet Jackson have been 86'd.

Janet, Jermaine

T.J.'s lawyer Charles Shultz says he's instructed the security team accordingly and his actions are "in compliance" with a judge's orders, not arbitrary.

Those on the not-allowed list were either present on July 23 "or in some way participated in the events surrounding that date," Shultz stated.

It was then that Jermaine, Randy and Janet Jackson arrived at Katherine's home and allegedly tried to physically remove Prince, Paris and Blanket.

Randy, Jermaine, Janet and sister Rebbie Jackson have been accused by some of being motivated by money to separate Katherine from the kids.

Michael's will, which left his estate to his children and provided an ample allowance to their guardian (Katherine), obviously stands in their way.

Since Michael's death in 2009, Katherine Jackson had been receiving a monthly allowance of $86,000 as guardian of Prince, Paris and Blanket.

For the time being, that sum goes to T.J. Jackson.

La Toya Jackson is calling for a truce in the bizarre saga involving her famous family. She's asking that her siblings stop airing the family's dirty laundry in public.

Janet, Jermaine, Rebbie and Randy Jackson have all weighed in on the custody battle surrounding their mother, Katherine, and Michael Jackson's three children.

La Toya is calling on all parties, regardless of which side, to come together and sort it out sensibly - and behind closed doors, away from celebrity gossip sites.

Also weighing in on the debacle is Michael’s disgraced doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, who reached out to the maligned Katherine Jackson, 82, from prison.

The man found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of her son has invited Katherine for a jailhouse talk "to answer any questions she may have."

Meanwhile, Katherine, whose whereabouts were undetermined for a brief period, was finally able to meet with her attorney, Perry Sanders, on Thursday night.

Sanders, who was denied access to the matriarch days earlier, plans to have Katherine’s custody of Michael’s three children reinstated as soon as possible.

Since her grandmother’s return, Paris Jackson, 14, has been sending late-night tweets, raising red flags about the toll this stressful situation is taking.

Katherine Jackson is resting safely at home and has even agreed to split guardianship of her grandchildren with TJ Jackson.

So all is relatively calm on this family's front, right? Very wrong.

Randy Jackson went off on a Twitter rant this afternoon, accusing the executors of his brother's will of an assassination plot against his mom.

Randy Jackson on Stage

"It is my fear and belief, that they are trying to take my mother’s life," Randy wrote of those in charge of Michael's estate, adding that they are attempting to "isolate Katherine just like they did to Michael, in order to propagate their lies, financial agendas and to protect a fraudulent will."

And that's what it all comes down to for Randy, sources say: he is not mentioned in his brother's will and many believe he will go to any length necessary to change that.

"It is clear that anyone who stands up against the Executors of the Estate - John Branca, John McClain and their attorney Howard Weitzman - is denied access to my mother."

What an absolute mess. Try to rest in peace, Michael, even as your family makes that very difficult.

It looks like the Jackson family drama may be coming to an end. Kind of. Sort of. But probably not.

A day after she returned to her grandchildren in California, and a couple days after TJ Jackson was granted temporary custody of Prince, Paris and Blanket, Katherine Jackson has agreed to share legal guardianship of Michael's three kids.

A court filing is expectde to take place next week.

"That pleading will essentially now legally reflect how Mrs. Jackson and TJ have often shared responsibilities of raising the children since Michael Jackson's tragic passing," Katherine's attorney, Perry Sanders, tells TMZ.

Conrad Murray is sitting in prison after being convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.

Yet this doctor somehow thinks he's the one who can fix the ongoing Jackson family saga, which has centered around contention over the late singer's will and the whereabouts of his mother, Katherine Jackson, for nearly two weeks now.

Katherine is now back at home with her grandchildren, but even young Prince Jackson is suspicious over why she was taken by other relatives in the first place.

"I've been told that she has a desire to speak with me before she departs this life," Murray said in a statement released to CNN through his attorneys. "Seeing that she is up in age and in questionable health, and the fact that she is the mother of a very dear departed friend, it would give me great pleasure to sit with her one on one and answer any questions she might have."

Katherine Jackson spoke out this week and claimed she simply needed a vacation, but major questions still surround the situation, namely: Why didn't she contact her grandkids while away?

"I do not want Mrs. Jackson to suffer. She remains as dear to me as my own mother, unbeknownst to her," Murray added, saying Katherine is on his prison visitor list and referring to her as "extremely sad."
