Katelyn Epperly Bio
Katelyn Epperly is a 19-year old hopeful on season nine of American Idol. She hails from West Des Moines, Iowa and she had a sad story to share with the judges:
Katelyn's father recently left his family. She went to Chicago to audition on the advice of her mother and received unanimous approval from the panel after singing “Syrup and Honey” by Duffy.
Epperly has served as the lead singer of an indie/funk/experimental band named Katelyn & the Bruises. She also plays the piano.
