Rumors that Kate Upton and Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander are dating have been running rampant after a series of photos of them together.

Busted Coverage posted the images allegedly featuring the supermodel getting cozy with one of the best pitchers in all of Major League Baseball.

The Detroit Free Press claims a woman named Amanda Waynick, who was celebrating her 25th birthday at the bar, asked Verlander for a photo.

He declined, politely ... but she later spotted him with Kate Upton in the background of several photos she took of herself and some friends.

Woo hoo! Hottest possible couple ever!

Of course, Verlander has been linked to his longtime girlfriend Emily Yuen, so this is all just speculation and may be much ado about nothing.

Or it may be the starting American League pitcher in the 2012 MLB All-Star Game and the all-star creator of the Cat Daddy video hitting it.

The two met on the set of a commercial for MLB 2K12, so they are definitely acquainted, but beyond that, only time and celebrity gossip will tell.

For what it's worth, Verlander was LIT UP in the All-Star Game last night, yielding five runs in a single inning. Wonder if his mind was on something else ...

Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton and New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez are an item, according to the New York Post.

Sanchez has been paying frequent late-night visits to her NYC apartment, having been spotted several times at the voluptuous blonde’s pad since November.

Mark is 25 years old. Kate Upton is 19. Nineteen! Just barely passing the "half your age plus seven" test, that's a step up from his old GF Eliza Kruger, 17.

Sanchez was seen in the lobby of the building where Kate Upton (who's also been linked to Kanye) lives, carrying gifts for her after a charity event early last month.

On another occasion, Sanchez was spotted coming into the building with bags a minute or two after Upton arrived. They've also been seen at his place of work.

Upton has also attended some Jets games as her sister, Christie Upton, is a manager of client relations for the team and works closely with Mark Sanchez.

Another source insists that Upton and Sanchez are “just friends.”

The Jets QB has also been linked to actresses Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Hayden Panettiere, who’s now dating his teammate Scotty McKnight, in recent years.

Rapper Kanye West has been spotted getting his flirt on with Victoria's Secret and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue beauty Kate Upton recently.

The star was caught sneaking in the back door at the Victoria's Secret VIP Swim event at Club L in L.A. and sitting with the ridiculously hot Upton.

Seriously, she's out of this world like Kanye and Katy Perry's "E.T." video.

A New York Post source said that the two were flirting and left hand in hand through the back door to avoid celebrity gossip attention. Interesting ...
