Kate Upton covers the Italian issue of GQ - GQ Italia if you will - and the photo shoot has us wondering how to say "very hot woman "in Italian.

We looked it up on Google. Hopefully the above headline is right.

Either way, she's hot, despite wearing more clothing than she has in a long time. At least in magazines. Check out Kate on the cover ...

Other things we need translated? "The skinny blogger who criticized her weight is an idiot." Well, we don't actually need that translated. But it is true and bears repeating.

In her last few spreads, Kate's gone away from the Terry Richardson method - showing as much skin as possible - and proven she looks great in clothes as well.

When you've already seen Kate Upton nude, all other possibilities pale in comparison.

Indeed, the super (duper!) model is featured in the latest edition of Great Britain's The Sunday Times, scarcely wearing any pants and offering up some decent cleavage shots in a couple poses.

But, considering other recent bikini photos of the blonde, it's hard to get overly excited about these overly layered shots. Upton has simply set the mostly-naked bar far too high for herself.

A blogger who attacked Kate Upton’s sexy figure, likening the curvy model to a cow and a pig, is facing severe backlash for her harsh comments.

The unnamed female blogger, who acknowledges preferring the "skinny aesthetic," trashed Upton in a July 8 post on the website "Skinny Gurl."

She has since been deluged with angry emails and threatened with rape and death ... none of which is cool, but neither were her initial remarks.

The blogger wrote that Upton, during a June modeling event, was "confidently lumbering up the runway like there's a buffet at the end of it."

She also called her a "little piggie" with "huge thighs, NO waist, big fat floppy boobs, and terrible body definition" and likened Kate to a cow.

Since then, fans and fashion world insiders have denounced the blogger for calling Kate Upton too fat and risen to the 20-year-old's defense.

Lesley Jane Seymour, editor-in-chief of More magazine, said:

"Running a site where you actually praise women for staying emaciated, than attacking someone who has a normal body, I mean, you've got issues."

"She's laughing all the way to the bank," supermodel/author Carol Alt said of Upton. "I would just say keep your end up and keep moving forward."

Hacker group Anonymous - apparently big Upton fans, or just bored, launched a cyber attack against Skinny Gurl, forcing her to change web hosts.

Modeling It Girl Kate Upton is apparently reminding some sports fans of another famous blonde, Jessica Simpson. Why? Look at their impact on players!

The Sports Illustrated beauty is rumored to be dating Detroit Tigers ace Justin Verlander, arguably the best pitcher in all of Major League Baseball ...

... who promptly got shellacked in Tuesday's All-Star Game.

Rumors immediately began flying that Upton was to blame for his effort - just as Dallas Cowboys fans once blamed another blonde for Tony Romo's woes.

Simpson was notably on hand (in a pink Romo jersey) for some of his worst games in a Dallas uniform, leading fans to label her a curse, jinx, and worse.

"Kate Upton and Justin Verlander? Suddenly everything makes sense," read a headline in the Los Angeles Times, calling her "the only logical explanation."

An Examiner headline hilariously read after the pitcher got rocked, "Kate Upton's bikini body blamed for Justin Verlander's poor All-Star Game inning."

If he was envisioning her Cat Daddy video or even just Kate Upton bikini photos, it would be easy to see why. But it gets better than this one incident:

Before Verlander, Upton was previously linked to New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, a long-touted prospect who has since become mediocre.

Think about it ... how could anyone focus. Fortunately for Jess' fiance, former NFL player Eric Johnson, his career was already over when they got together.

Kate Upton boozing at a baseball game might not seem like a big deal, but she's only 20, so it's kind of illegal. And not at all surprising or newsworthy.

But this is modeling's It Girl, of course, so it's news. Also, it took place in Tigers ace hurler Justin Verlander's luxury suite, with TV cameras watching!

That would be her rumored boyfriend, Justin Verlander. Regarding the beer, and the alleged BF ... Kate's rep wouldn't seriously comment on either.

The rep told TMZ that underage Kate was not drinking beer, and was only there to see a game with a friend. The rep would not say what Kate was drinking.

A rep for the Tigers said that "all patrons who appear to be under 30 years old are ID'd," so presumably Kate was ... though that certainly looks like a beer.

As for Kate being in Verlander's box, and the rumors that they're dating, the rep had no comment whatsoever, making this story pretty much pointless. Oh well.

Sadly, there was no Kate Upton Dougie video at this sporting event either. Just some fully-clothed, non-scandalous Kate Upton pics. Maybe next time.
