Kate Middleton covers the new issue of People, and inside, the Duchess-obsessed mag gives a full run-down on Kate's recent health woes.

Kate Middleton: Pregnant in People Magazine!

As you've probably heard, Kate's been suffering from severe morning sickness - a result of a condition known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum that affects about 1 in 100 pregnant women.

Kate made her first public appearance in 10 weeks yesterday, and it was taken by many royal-watchers as an encouraging sign that she's beginning to recover from her illness.

People reports that those closest to Kate believe she's turned a corner and that the worst is over. In fact, sources say she seems happier than ever these days, and seems thrilled with the prospect of a little brother or sister for Prince George:

In recent weeks, Kate Middleton has canceled public appearances at the last minute on several occasions, as a result of her ongoing health issues.

Kate's suffering from extreme morning sickness - the result of Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a condition that affects roughly 1 in 100 pregnant women.

Though she's reportedly improving, at the moment, it's been a slow recovery as Kate is still staying with her parents and planning her return to public life.

In the meantime, the Duchess is laid up and extremely limited in her activities. And if the latest reports from the Middletons' home in Bucklebury are any indication, she may be going a bit stir-crazy.

Ever since they went public with the news that Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second baby, the royal family has cautioned that the Duchess may not be making many public appearances during for next several months, as doctors anticipated complications.

The Smiling Kate Middleton

Kate suffered from severe morning sickness during her first pregnancy, and now it looks as though the condition has returned and possibly worsened.

Yesterday, Kate was scheduled to attend the opening of a new art studio at a London primary school, but she was forced to cancel at the last minute due to the sudden onset of symptoms from hyperemesis gravidarum.

Responding to rumors that the illness is worse than it was during Kate's first pregnancy, a spokesperson for the royal family issued a statement saying that the sickness is "similar in severity to last time."

Is Kate Middleton expecting twins? That's the rumor going around royal circles, for the second time in as many years, and Kate Middleton pregnancies.

At the root of this is Kate's severe morning sickness, or hyperemesis gravidarum, that has sidelined her both times and is often associated with twins.

Twins didn't materialize as rumored the first time Prince William got Kate Middleton pregnant, of course, so it would still be a long shot this time.

But a lot of people over in the UK would apparently take that action!

The royal betting market, which hilariously exists, has seen plenty of wagering on the 32-year-old having not one, but two royal babies come 2015.

The William Hill betting firm says it recently received about 200 bets on the arrival of twins, including "a significant gamble" that was made in York.

That's enough to send the odds tumbling down from 20:1 to 9:1.

Kate Middleton's hyperemesis gravidarum has rendered her out of commission for weeks, but she is reportedly on the cusp of resuming royal duties.

At least three weeks of severe morning sickness have hampered the pregnant Kate Middleton, 32, although she has avoided having to be hospitalized.

During her first pregnancy with Prince George in late 2012, things were so bad that she was forced to seek medical treatment outside her home.

This time around, things have progressed (slightly) better.

“There will be engagements in October and November," a royal spokesperson said of her schedule. "We just haven’t announced them yet.”

Is it too much, too soon for the ailing, expecting Duchess?

In case you somehow haven't heard, Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second baby, and just like with her first pregnancy, she's experiencing some major morning sickness.

Contemplative Kate Middleton

In fact, Kate's Hyperemesis Gravidarum - as the condition is known - has gotten so bad that it's starting to affect her ability to carry out her royal duties.

Even though it's still very early in the pregnancy, royal officials stated earlier this week that Kate was considering canceling travel plans as a a result of her worsening health issues.

Today, they confirmed that Kate has indeed been forced to cancel her scheduled trip to Malta, and that Prince William will go in her place.

Still in the throes of morning sickness, Kate Middleton is weighing whether she is well enough to fly to Malta for two days of engagements on behalf of the Queen.

No word if this will touch off another chapter in her war with the Queen if she flakes.

Struggling mightily with severe morning pregnancy sickness, she's in a tough spot.

Her doctors will have to consider if she is well enough to fly to Malta, where Kate Middleton is said to be eager to go, and a decision has yet to be made.

Her staff members at Kensington Palace are giving her as much time as possible to weigh her options, while holding out hope that she'll be able to go.

At the same time they are also making contingency plans to send another member of the family, possibly her husband Prince William, in her place.

Kate, 32, is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which also struck her during her first pregnancy with royal baby Prince George back in 2012.

Apparently, not everyone is a fan of Kate Middleton, Prince William and their future offspring after all. At the very least, something rubs some people the wrong way.

The media went into an absolute frenzy upon receiving word from the Palace that Kate Middleton is pregnant again, and suffering morning sickness again.

It's that second part that seems to aggravate the haters on Twitter.

The Duchess of Cambridge is once again suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe morning sickness that affects "0.5-2 percent of pregnant women."

She's had to cancel events as a result of being hampered by this, but just as she endured it with Prince George, Kate is expected to be fine soon enough.

Thus, news of her pregnancy and especially her pregnancy symptoms have become cause for annoyance on Twitter and other social media platforms.

Kate Middleton's pregnancy certainly looked flawless, and apparently the actual experience of welcoming Prince George into the world wasn't far off.

In October's Vanity Fair, sources close to the Duchess of Cambridge reveal that her birth plan went exactly according to plan ... doesn't it figure?

"She spoke to some of her best girlfriends after the birth and described the birth as perfect," a source told Vanity Fair's longtime royal reporter Katie Nicholl.

"She said it was straightforward and there were no complications. She wanted a natural birth and she was so happy she was able to have one."

This on top of the fact that throughout her entire first pregnancy, Kate Middleton, 31, only looked pregnant from the front with a perfect baby bump.

Kate Middleton's amazing post-pregnancy figure has people wondering: What's the Duchess' secret? Well now we know, or at least a tabloid claims we do.

The crowds couldn’t help but notice Kate Middleton’s slim post-baby body since she began stepping out in Anglesey, Wales, six weeks after giving birth.

How did she shed the 29 pounds she gained while pregnant?

And seemingly instantly, at that? As if she never were?

Rowing partner Emma Sayle says Kate Middleton owes a lot to her prenatal fitness levels: “Kate stayed super-fit by running and hitting the gym."
