Despite all the rumors of a baby shower for the pregnant Kate Middleton, royal experts are saying the event is quite unlikely to happen. Why?

According to ABC News Royal Expert Victoria Arbiter, the Duchess of Cambridge will most likely eschew a big to-do because of the "added pressure."

"[She and Prince William] are clearly very wealthy, so a lavish baby shower would be seen as inappropriate ... there's nothing they can't buy themselves."

Appearances can be deceiving when it comes to celebrities.

Not in Kate Middleton's case, however. She's the very best!

At least according to her uncle Gary Goldsmith, who tells Hello! that his niece is just as sweet, smart, and smitten with Prince William as she seems in public.

"She is so kind-hearted, a beautiful girl inside and out," IT recruitment millionaire Goldsmith said. "I think that is the Kate people are seeing and the Kate I know."

"She is this confident, clever, caring girl who takes responsibility seriously. I think everyone thinks she's sincere, in love, and doing her job to the best of her ability."

Dressed for the occasion, Kate Middleton attended a St. Patrick's Day parade at the Aldershot Barracks in England Sunday, honoring the 1st Battalion Irish Guards.

The fashionable mom-to-be, who attended with hubby Prince William, (sham) rocked a green Emilia Wickstead dress coat, a black hat and Emmy black pumps.

Despite previous reports that Kate is expecting a girl, she was seen chatting with soldiers and dishing on which gender she and Prince William were hoping for.

"I asked her 'do you know if it's a girl or boy', and she said 'not yet'," one soldier said, according to reports. "She said 'I'd like to have a boy and William would like a girl'."

The pregnant Kate Middleton is reportedly feeling great these days, despite her early morning sickness, and could not be more excited to be a mom.

She has not, however, decided what she will name the royal heir(ess).

"Nobody knows what William and Kate are calling their baby or even if they have decided on a name or names, for that matter," a royal source says.

"They are keeping everything to themselves. The Duke and Duchess take their privacy very seriously. They are not speaking to anyone about private matters."

And while Middleton is obviously getting closer and closer to her July 3 due date (approximately) a source tells E! that "Kate is feeling great."

Yes, the Kate Middleton maternity clothes craze has begun.

Kate was spotted browsing Seraphine maternity clothes at the department store Peter Jones, checking out the modestly-priced Brooke dress ($55, below):

The 31-year-old also looked at Seraphine's maternity tights and leggings, an onlooker says, in the Duchess' latest mommy-to-be shopping excursion.

Kate also got a dress from TopShop in Oxford Street last week.

July 3, based on their most recent odds. Around noon GMT, if you're looking to get specific with your bet in the office pool you know you're starting.

As for potential Prince William-Kate Middleton baby names?

Assuming Kate is in fact expecting a girl, Elizabeth and Diana are still favorites with 5-1 odds, followed by Victoria and Frances at 7-1 and 8-1 respectively.

We like Caroline or Charlotte as a dark horse, personally.
