Kate Middleton certainly makes an attractive, fashionable Olympic ambassador for team Great Britain. The Duchess continues to earn headlines for her fashion choices, even selections that are decidedly non-flashy.

Most recently, it's her skinny jeans, paired with a blue blazer, pants, wedges, clutch and umbrella (it is England after all), that have people buzzing.

With that cute striped shirt, it's another casual winning look:

Another of our favorite Kate Middleton pics from the 2012 games came this week when she went to watch her country's sailing team, decked out in Olympics workout gear.

With Princes William and Harry by her side, Kate's proven time and again that she pulls off something like a windbreaker as well as she does any haute couture!

She is #1 on Vanity Fair's Best Dressed List for a reason, after all.

In stunning news, the fashionable Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has topped the annual Vanity Fair best-dressed list again this year.

Just like 2010 and 2011.

The magazine lauds 30-year-old Kate’s recognition of British designers like Alexander McQueen, Alice Temperley and Matthew Williamson, among others, and for her mix of higher- and lower-end styles, many of which she even re-wears.

She's the people's princess, after all!

Joining the Olympic fashion trend-setter is her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, who makes the list for the first time ever (William did not make the list).

There’s major Hollywood representation on the roster, as well, with newcomer Jessica Chastain also landing atop the list, along with Diane Kruger.

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys represent music, while the New England Patriots' Tom Brady and the N.Y. Giants' Victor Cruz earn top athletic style props.

Matt Lauer, Alice + Olivia’s Stacey Bendet and designer Stella McCartney are also praised for their senses of style in the September 2012 issue.

What do you think? She's been running away with the award for years now, but does Kate Middleton deserve the honor of best-dressed celebrity?

The London Olympics are great for so many reasons, most pertaining to the incredible athletic competition among a moving cross-section of humanity.

The deluge of Kate Middleton pictures is also great.

The unofficial face of the host nation is setting even more fashion trends than usual this week. Her latest? A cute, blue Smythe Navy One Button Blazer!

Kate wore the item at the Cross Country Equestrian event - where Prince William's cousin Zara Phillips actually competed for Great Britain - Monday (above).

Kate Middleton fashion followers may recall that she also was seen in this same blazer at Heathrow airport and on her trip to Canada in Summer 2011.

Clearly it works for her ... as if anything doesn't.

Check out a few more images of her looking great in it below, plus some bonus pictures of Kate welcoming the Olympic torch to Buckingham Palace:

The Opening Ceremony of the London Olympics gets underway tonight, and you know what that means:

So many Kate Middleton shots are sure to follow!

As we learned at Wimbledon this year, whenever a major sporting event takes place in England, Kate and her husband are sure to be in attendance - and the camera is sure to follow. With the most major sporting event in the world descending on that nation for the next two weeks, male viewers can start celebrating now.

And female viewers can start taking notes on Middleton's fashion sense, starting with this photo, as she, William and Harry welcome the Olympic Torch to Buckingham Palace:

DISCLAIMER: The following Kate Middleton photo is 100% authentic. We do not believe in pathetic photoshopping attempts at publicity.

The gorgeous The Duchess of Cambridge kicked off a series of Summer Olympic-themed royal events yesterday by donning an electric-blue crepe dress by Stella McCartney, who's been named the designer of the official British uniforms for the upcoming worldwide event.

The outfit was adorned by a necklace that sources confirm to People is from Middleton's "personal collection." It's comprised of a large gold ring forming a pendant, with four other rings along the chain - and we hear it's valued at $78,000.

That figure, of course, is nothing compared to what some photographer reportedly earned from snapping this Kate Middleton bikini picture.

What do you think of the necklace?

Come on, Marie Claire. You're better than this.

The South African version of this magazine features Kate Middleton on its August cover... except it really doesn't.

The following image is the brunette beauty's face morphed on to the body of some random model, marking the second time this month that a publication has fabricated a photo of Middleton for marketing purposes.

Fake Kate Middleton Photo

In a lame attempt of the issue's effort, Marie Claire Editor Aspasia Karrass tells the UK's Telegraph:

"We were so inspired by her fairytale wedding and her life as a modern-day princess, which is why we elected Kate Middleton as our cover star for the August issue. The cover is actually a hyper-real illustration of Kate, meant to be a fan art tribute to fashion's new royal icon."

TRANSLATION: We were desperate to sell copies and she wouldn't actually pose for us.

In an equally pathetic attempt to capitalize on Middleton and her popularity, meanwhile, the cover also claims that Kate "wears SA's best local designers*" - only for the fine print to read: "*Of course she doesn't. But she should."

No word yet from Great Britain regarding the magazine, but sources say the palace is royally steamed over shots of Kate and Prince William on their honeymoon.

Another tabloid cover of Kate Middleton is creating quite a stir in Great Britain - but this one is actually real.

Unlike the photoshopped image of Middleton with yellow teeth, an Australian magazine called Woman's Day has published an image of Kate and Prince William on their honeymoon on North Island, a tiny archipelago in the Seychelles.

It's unclear how a paparazzi member sneaked on to the tropical paradise, as it's rumored to be home to more tortoises than people. But one insider said the shutter bug likely earned an enormous payday for the pic.

"Any shot of them on their honeymoon was going to go for at least half a million but because Kate is in a bikini I would estimate that this is a million dollar shot," celebrity business journalist Jo Piazza told Yahoo! Shine.

It's true. For all the Kate Middleton fashion trends out there, best of luck trying to find another photo of the would-be-queen in a bathing suit.

A new magazine cover featuring Kate Middleton is causing quite a stir.

Because the Duchess rarely (okay, never) poses for magazines, they're forced to snag and edit images on their own for the celebrity gossip, etc., that they're teasing.

The New Republic has gone further than ever before, however, marring the lovely face of Kate Middleton with Photoshop and giving her rotting yellow teeth.

See the cringe-worthy image below. Why would they go there?

Kate Middleton Cover

The cover story is not about Catherine nor royals in general, but rather the decaying state of the British economy and government ... hence the metaphor.

As for why Kate Middleton, and not a figure of the actual government (or the actual monarch Queen Elizabeth II), was chosen for the cover, we can't say.

Okay, we can ... it was done because Kate, for better or worse, has become the symbolic face of the country, and so we'd discuss the image above.

Political commentary aside, that's a little rough. Follow the link for actual Kate Middleton photos, in which her smile (and everything else) looks flawless.

With the lovely, supportive Kate Middleton by his side, Prince William was knighted as a member of the Order of the Thistle in Scotland on Thursday.

He received the title from his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II – the highest honor she can bestow in Scotland – around his 30th birthday last month.

In a nod to her Scottish title, the Countess of Strathearn, Kate Middleton wore a soft yellow coat dress specially made for her by Emilia Wickstead.

Kate and William fell in love at St. Andrews University, just outside the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, where the grand ceremony took place at St. Giles Cathedral.

A pipe band heralded the beginning of the festivities before the royals arrived. Kate had a few words and a smile with a church official and was then escorted in.

No reports of the Queen hating on her today, so that's good.

Prince William then joined other members of the Order of the Thistle. After several minutes, he walked to the cathedral alongside his aunt, Princess Anne.

Like the other knights, including the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, he wore a deep-green velvet cloak and matching hat adorned with a white ostrich feather.

This is actually William's second honorary knighthood. He was invested in the Order of the Garter at Windsor Castle in 2008. Congratulations to the royal!
