In recent weeks, Kate Middleton has canceled public appearances at the last minute on several occasions, as a result of her ongoing health issues.

Kate's suffering from extreme morning sickness - the result of Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a condition that affects roughly 1 in 100 pregnant women.

Though she's reportedly improving, at the moment, it's been a slow recovery as Kate is still staying with her parents and planning her return to public life.

In the meantime, the Duchess is laid up and extremely limited in her activities. And if the latest reports from the Middletons' home in Bucklebury are any indication, she may be going a bit stir-crazy.

Kate's canceled public appearances on several occasions as a result of Hyperemesis Gravidarum - a condition characterized by severe morning sickness.

On Wednesday, Kate Middleton pulled out of another event at the last minute, this time without a statement or sending a different member of the royal family in her place.

Many Brits have understandably grown concerned about the Duchess' health.

As her condition worsens, or at least continues to be this bad, the press has been wondering if she'll simply keep out of the public eye for the remainder of her pregnancy.

The situation seemed bleak, but there's good news on the horizon, as Kate has scheduled an event for October 21 that, for now at least, she intends to keep.

Is Kate Middleton being pressured to name her second baby after a royal family member? According to one report, yes, but not the name you might think:

It's Camilla!

We imagine, like most celebrity gossip pertaining to Kate Middleton's baby, that this report is total B.S. But if it is true, here's hoping for another boy.

  • Camilla Parker Bowles Photo
  • Kate Middleton and Prince William: OUCH!

According to reports, Camilla is "insisting" that the Duchess name her unborn child after her, if it's a girl, so she can mark her legacy in the royal family.

Apparently, Camilla believes people only know her as “Prince Charles’ wife” or the home-wrecker that came between the heir and Princess Diana.

Maybe so, but we're not sure how that makes it Kate Middleton's problem.

The baby name issue does take on new meaning if they have a girl this time, given options such as Diana or Elizabeth, both of which carry great meaning.

Ever since the world learned that Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second child, the British press has been closely monitoring the Duchess' health.

As with her first pregnancy, Kate is suffering from severe morning sickness as the result of a condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarum.

Kate has gotten so sick that royal officials have confirmed she's currently living with her parents and receiving round-the-clock care from her mother.

"When you're ill, the place you feel most comfortable is at home with your mum," a source tells People magazine.

Prince George might be the heir to the British Empire, but he has no idea about this. As a 13-month-old boy, he just wants to play in the park. That's about it.

For this reason, Prince William and Kate Middleton are taking "legal steps" against an unnamed person who's making it hard for the boy to live this dream.

Prince George, Butterfly

An incident last week prompted the couple "to seek reasonable assurances" from someone they want to stop "harassing and following" the Royal Baby.

Seriously. According to the palace, this individual had been badgering "both Prince George and his nanny as they go about their ordinary daily lives."

"The individual was spotted at a central London Park in the vicinity of Prince George, who was removed from the Park immediately," the statement explains.

There's reason to suspect, the duo worriedly states, that this individual has wee one "under surveillance and monitoring his daily routines for a period of time."

Ever since they went public with the news that Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second baby, the royal family has cautioned that the Duchess may not be making many public appearances during for next several months, as doctors anticipated complications.

The Smiling Kate Middleton

Kate suffered from severe morning sickness during her first pregnancy, and now it looks as though the condition has returned and possibly worsened.

Yesterday, Kate was scheduled to attend the opening of a new art studio at a London primary school, but she was forced to cancel at the last minute due to the sudden onset of symptoms from hyperemesis gravidarum.

Responding to rumors that the illness is worse than it was during Kate's first pregnancy, a spokesperson for the royal family issued a statement saying that the sickness is "similar in severity to last time."

Is Kate Middleton expecting twins? That's the rumor going around royal circles, for the second time in as many years, and Kate Middleton pregnancies.

At the root of this is Kate's severe morning sickness, or hyperemesis gravidarum, that has sidelined her both times and is often associated with twins.

Twins didn't materialize as rumored the first time Prince William got Kate Middleton pregnant, of course, so it would still be a long shot this time.

But a lot of people over in the UK would apparently take that action!

The royal betting market, which hilariously exists, has seen plenty of wagering on the 32-year-old having not one, but two royal babies come 2015.

The William Hill betting firm says it recently received about 200 bets on the arrival of twins, including "a significant gamble" that was made in York.

That's enough to send the odds tumbling down from 20:1 to 9:1.

With Kate Middleton's severe morning sickness forcing her to cancel a number of public appearances recently, the British press has had little to report on with regard to the Duchess' second pregnancy.

Kate resumed her royal schedule earlier this week, and even though she's hardly showing at this point, London tabloids filled the space left by her absence with speculation about the name of her royal offspring.

The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge

One publication even went so far as to invite casino oddsmakers to determine the likelihood of each royal-approved name. (It's not a long list.)

If it's a boy, the gambling gurus say James and Arthur are the frontrunners.

Both are suitably king-like monikers (though baby #2 will most likely never take the throne), though some have pointed out that if Will and Kate go with Arthur, their kids will have the same name as Rob Kardashian's sock company.

Kate Middleton's hyperemesis gravidarum has rendered her out of commission for weeks, but she is reportedly on the cusp of resuming royal duties.

Katherine Middleton

At least three weeks of severe morning sickness have hampered the pregnant Kate Middleton, 32, although she has avoided having to be hospitalized.

During her first pregnancy with Prince George in late 2012, things were so bad that she was forced to seek medical treatment outside her home.

This time around, things have progressed (slightly) better.

“There will be engagements in October and November," a royal spokesperson said of her schedule. "We just haven’t announced them yet.”

Is it too much, too soon for the ailing, expecting Duchess?

The Royal Family is as outdated as Newsweek, but both continue to exist, albeit mainly in online form.

Despite the fact that they're two peas in an old-timey pod, Newsweek and the royals may soon be at odds thanks to an interview with Australian feminist author Germaine Greer that the magazine published this week.

The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge

Asked about Kate Middleton's second pregnancy and resulting health issues, Greer went off on pretty much every member of the royal family except for Kate.

"Kate is a great deal more intelligent than the rest of the royals," Greer said. "She has been put in charge of William."

Greer went on to tackle the issue of Kate's severe morning sickness, which she believes to be symptomatic of a much larger problem:
