Kate Middleton gave a speech in Malaysia Thursday. No, the pregnancy rumors were not the subject, but her grace and charm were on display as always.

With William and Kate rumors swirling again, given her refusal of wine and his discussion of their future family in Singapore, she just did what she does:

She and her husband arrived in Malaysia on Thursday, where she gave her first public speech outside Britain, thanking Hospis Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.

The Duchess praised he group for its warm welcome and for its transformative effect on the children under its care - one of her chief charitable endeavors.

"I have learned that delivering the best possible palliative care to children is vital, providing children and their families with a place of support, care and enhancement at a time of great need is simply life-changing," Kate said.

Pregnant or not pregnant, she's quite lovely.

New X Factor judge Demi Lovato isn't simply critiquing hopeful singers these days. She's going after supermarket tabloids as well.

Hard.

In the wake of the 197th Kate Middleton pregnant lie report, Lovato has taken to Twitter and slammed Star Magazine for its irresponsible photo use.

"So apparently Kate Middleton (William?) is pregnant because of THIS picture...Are you KIDDING ME?!!" Demi Tweeted yesterday, linking to a cropped photo of the cover below, which includes an arrow on Middleton's svelte stomach and the words: "Expanding Waistline."

Lovato, of course, has been outspoken about self-esteem issues ever since she entered rehab in late 2010 for cutting, depression and an eating disorder, among other problems.

"And people wonder why girls/guys have body image issues," Lovato added. "Whether she is or not, she still has a beautiful body. Shame on you Star magazine."

Whether or not you give Lovato points as an X Factor judge - and THG was actually a big fan - you've gotta give the young star nothing but props for speaking out in this case. Way to go, Demi!

Kate Middleton sparked a renewed bout of speculation that she may be pregnant this week, and now an unnamed palace source is adding fuel to the fire.

During a state banquet in Singapore, the future queen TWICE made toasts to the current Queen by drinking water instead of wine - unusual for toasts.

This, obviously, set off pregnancy rumors, coupled with reports from the royal circle (allegedly) that Kate is "definitely" pregnant at this point in time.

One source has said that yes, Kate Middleton is pregnant, but that William and Kate were planning to hold off announcing a pregnancy for "as long as possible."

That may mean more than a few months, as she's probably not pregnant. All the girl did was refuse wine, and all William did was say he wants two kids.

Someday.

Kate is said to find the constant attention on her pregnancy status and whether or not she's too thin unsettling, but accepts it as part of the territory.

At least she's not under any pressure to produce a male heir. A change in the laws of succession means her first-born will be the heir(ess), regardless of gender.

Is Kate Middleton pregnant? Probably not, but a double shot of rumors hit the web this week during the couple's trip to Asia. What went down exactly?

Well, first off, there was the Duchess' choice of beverage in Singapore.

Her choice of non-alcoholic beverage to be more specific. OMG!

Reports that an heir may be on the way were ignited as Kate Middleton waved off a glass of wine at a state banquet dinner, opting instead for water.

Granted, so did Prince William for reasons unknown.

There are many reasons one could turn down a glass of wine, of course, but William also fueled the pregnancy rumors by actually discussing his future family.

The trip brought the royal couple to the Rainbow Centre, where they met young students, William was asked how many kids he would like to have.

He didn't hesitate before offering up his response, "Two."

Of course, he also answered another burning student question - no, not about Prince Harry naked - when he was asked what superpower he'd like to have.

"That's a hard question. I'm not sure. I'll have to think about it. I think invisibility," he said ... given his life in the public eye, one can surely sympathize.

In any case, Katie Couric says Middleton is too thin and needs to eat more. While we disagree, she definitely doesn't look like she's eating for two, yet.

Discussing her new show Katie and which celebrities she'd like to interview, Katie Couric made some surprisingly candid remarks about one in particular.

"I think it would be interesting to interview Kate Middleton because she has comported herself so well since she has been thrust in the limelight," she said.

However, she added, "I think she needs to eat more because she’s so thin.”

Royal sources consistently reiterate that there is no problem with Kate's dietary habits, yet speculation and discussion about Kate's slender frame persist.

Some even think it may be at least part of the reason that the newlyweds have yet to become pregnant, despite their expressed desire to start a family.

It is not clear why Couric - who was granted exclusive access to the Royals for her ABC News Special - would have made the extraordinary comments.

She surely meant no harm, but the weight topic is a sensitive one to say the least at the palace, especially given Princess Diana's battle with bulimia.

Kate Middleton is not bulimic, obviously, and even seems to have put on (a little) weight in the past few weeks, though she remains naturally thin.

The Paralympics kicked off in London this week, with Prince William and Kate Middleton on hand for the opening ceremony. As for the black sheep of the family?

No, Prince Harry was not present. At least not yet.

Queen Elizabeth II (not wearing a hoodie) became the first British monarch to ever open the games. In a statement before the ceremony she said:

Kate and Harry at the 2012 London Olympics earlier this summer.

“It is with tremendous pride that the people of London and the United Kingdom welcome the world to the London 2012 Paralympic Games."

"The Games are returning to the country where they first began more than 60 years ago. We look forward to celebrating the uplifting spirit which distinguishes the Paralympic Games from other events, drawing on Britain's unique sporting heritage.”

Joining themwere British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and London Mayor Boris Johnson.

Very obviously missing was a certain Paralympic GB Ambassador. With rumors of a Prince Harry nude video circulating, he expected to sit it out.

The embattled Prince will make his first public appearance since the scandal when he watches swimmers in the aquatic center Monday, however.

Katrina Darling, Kate Middleton's cousin, covers the September 2012 issue of Playboy. The 22-year-old is a burlesque dancer ... and a beautiful one at that!

She and Kate are not close; in fact, their connection was only revealed last year.

Darling first learned of her royal relation shortly before Kate’s April '11 wedding to Prince William via a phone call from a member of the UK press.

“It was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard,” the club and cabaret dancer says, with a laugh. “It’s not every day something like that happens.”

Last year, lines began forming outside the underground venues where Katrina had been performing her own burlesque show, God Save the Queen.

Yes ... however random and distant her Kate Middleton ties might be, the name of her routine suddenly took on a wonderful (and sexy!) irony.

“Burlesque is a platform for me to explore these kinds of things. The more into it the audience is,” says Katrina Darling, “the more into it I am.”

Katrina has upcoming U.S. shows, entitled “A Royal Dream,” at the Dream Hotel in South Beach August 31 and Dream New York September 6.

Kate Middleton certainly makes an attractive, fashionable Olympic ambassador for team Great Britain. The Duchess continues to earn headlines for her fashion choices, even selections that are decidedly non-flashy.

Most recently, it's her skinny jeans, paired with a blue blazer, pants, wedges, clutch and umbrella (it is England after all), that have people buzzing.

In stunning news, the fashionable Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has topped the annual Vanity Fair best-dressed list again this year.

Just like 2010 and 2011.

The magazine lauds 30-year-old Kate’s recognition of British designers like Alexander McQueen, Alice Temperley and Matthew Williamson, among others, and for her mix of higher- and lower-end styles, many of which she even re-wears.

She's the people's princess, after all!

Joining the Olympic fashion trend-setter is her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, who makes the list for the first time ever (William did not make the list).

There’s major Hollywood representation on the roster, as well, with newcomer Jessica Chastain also landing atop the list, along with Diane Kruger.

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys represent music, while the New England Patriots' Tom Brady and the N.Y. Giants' Victor Cruz earn top athletic style props.

Matt Lauer, Alice + Olivia’s Stacey Bendet and designer Stella McCartney are also praised for their senses of style in the September 2012 issue.
