The Kate Middleton photo scandal has come roaring back with the publication of even more (and clearer) images in Scandinavian gossip magazine Se og Hør this week.

The magazine's editor quickly defended the move.

Kate Middleton Picture

"We are a leading gossip magazine in Denmark, and it is my job to publish them," Kim Henningsen said of the Kate Middleton topless (and bottomless) images.

Taken with a long lens, the images - basically the same as the ones published previously in French and Irish magazines - show Kate in a bikini ... and then not in a bikini.

A rep for the royals declined comment, saying, "Our stance is the same as before - we aren't commenting save to say all proportionate legal responses will be kept under review."

Kate Middleton committing a fashion faux pas? Surely you jest.

No, we're not talking about the Kate Middleton topless scandal (there was no fashion being displayed there, if you know what we mean). This is a different situation:

Kate Middleton Clothes

Kate and Prince William thought they were dressing festively and appropriately for a party in the Solomon Islands. Unknowingly, however, they donned attire from the Cook Islands!

Scandalous! In all seriousness, this offended the locals.

Kate Middleton is pregnant, according to Star Magazine. Given their blatant doctoring of the photo of her on its new cover, however, we have our doubts.

Also, its Star Magazine.

Given that Kate will one day (hopefully) produce the next heir(ess) of the British royal family, there will always be speculation and gossip and it's all fun.

Photoshopping a baby bump onto Kate Middleton pictures, though? That's gotta be a new, shameless low, even by their immeasurably low standards:

  • Kate Middleton Pregnant Star Magazine Cover
  • Kate Middleton, Water

Wow, her belly sure grew quickly from one nanosecond ago.

As you can see, Star's BOMBSHELL photo appeared with the headline: “It’s Twins”.

It’s not. Nor was it the last time this celeb "news" magazine tried to make it so.

For whatever reason, the magazine erased her ring from the cover in addition to altering the shape of her abdominal region. No idea why that was necessary.

At least they've tried to capitalize on the Kate Middleton topless scandal, teasing pics that aren't inside. Well done all around! What will they come up with next week?

We can only imagine, but one thing's for sure: It won't be accurate. In the least.

Here's a look at some of the past non-pregnant Kate Middleton tabloid reports:

A Swedish celebrity gossip magazine has just published photos of Kate Middleton topless and its sister publication in Denmark says it will follow suit this week.

The unauthorized Kate Middleton photos have already been widely published in France, Italy, Ireland and on the Internet, despite the royal family's best efforts.

The latest publication in Sweden’s Se & Hor came as French police opened a criminal investigation into whether the infamous pics were an invasion of privacy.

“It is nothing new to us to publish nude photos of celebrities on holiday,” said Carina Lofkvist, the chief editor of the Swedish celebrity magazine, on Thursday.

She said Kate Moss, Demi Moore and Sharon Stone have all done the same thing. “No one complains when they do and we print the photos,” Lofkvist said.

Sister publication Se & Hoer in Denmark will publish the pictures as well; they were offered 240 Kate Middleton photos but decided only to use 60-70 of them.

Both magazines declined to say who specifically sold them the images or how much money they paid to acquire them, but it's safe to say it wasn't cheap.

The shocking release of Kate Middleton topless photos, taken from a distance while she was at a private villa in France, has sparked debate over the ethics of celebrity media coverage. Most people tend to sympathize with the Duchess of Cambridge here.

Donald Trump, however, is not most people.

In a series of Tweets, the blowhard opined that Middleton herself is to blame for the nude photos - she didn't have to strip down outdoors, after all!

  • Trump Pic

“Kate Middleton is great, but shouldn’t be sunbathing in the nude, she has only herself to blame," writes Trump. "Who wouldn’t take Kate’s picture and make lots of money if she does the nude sunbathing thing. Come on Kate!”

Somehow we're guessing the British royal family disagrees.

The irate royals are exploring legal options to stop the spread of the Kate Middleton pics, and have already won an injunction against French gossip magazine Closer.

However, at least two other tabloids have run the pics - both in other nations not bound by the ruling - and that's just print media. The Internet is a different beast.

What do you think of Trump's statement? Is he for real? We know he likes to weigh in on whatever's trending, but does he have a valid point? Comment/vote below ...

A French court has ruled in favor of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge regarding the Kate Middleton topless pics in Closer magazine, prohibiting all publication.

However, the ruling does not apply to other magazines - Italy's Chi and Ireland's Daily Star have also ran with the topless and nude photos - outside of France.

There's also the widespread dissemination of the photos via the Internet.

Nevertheless, the court called the invasion of Kate and Prince William's privacy a "brutal display" and ordered Closer to immediately turn over all copies of the pics.

That includes digital copies. Failure to do so means a $13,100 fine. Per day.

The palace has also filed a criminal complaint against those responsible for the Kate Middleton pictures ... whoever that might be. The photographer is still unknown.

Whoever it was took the photos of Kate Middleton topless from a LONG distance away.

As she sunbathed on the balcony of a French chateau with Prince William, Kate clearly had NO idea anyone was watching during their holiday at a private residence.

Talk about hitting close to home!

With Kate Middleton topless pictures causing uproar in Europe, the Duchess of Cambridge was greeted by residents of Marau, Solomon Islands, in traditional attire.

Read: No tops.

Kate received a warm welcome during the latest stop on their Asian tour and was all smiles when given a traditional necklace and a topless sculpture of a female figure.

She and husband Prince William are taking legal action against French tabloid Closer, the first magazine to publish topless pictures of Kate on holiday last week.

Despite the lawsuit threat from the royal family, Ireland's Daily Star and Italian magazine Chi soon followed, running the Kate Middleton nude and topless shots.

"She's not our future queen," Daily Star editor Mike O'Kane told the BBC.

"The Duchess is no different to any other celeb pics we would get in, for example Rihanna or Lady Gaga." O'Kane was reportedly suspended over the decision.

Lawyers for Britain's royal family are attempting to stop further publication, filing both civil and criminal complaints against the parties responsible. Stay tuned.

Days after launching an injunction in a civil case against Closer magazine, Kate Middleton and Prince William have filed a criminal complaint in a French court.

Seeking justice against those who disseminated Kate Middleton topless photos last week, the complaint asks prosecutors to charge the paparazzo behind the shots.

Of course, there was no name listed in the royals' criminal complaint, as it's unclear who was responsible for taking the pics published in the celebrity gossip mag.

Under French law, those convicted of violating Will and Kate's privacy - the unnamed paparazzo and Closer's editor, in theory - could face thousands of euros in fines.

A possible one-year jail sentence is also on the table, albeit unlikely.

As it happened, Closer removed the pics from its website on Friday shortly after being sued, and before the criminal complaint was even filed by the royals.

However, Closer's Italian sister publication, Chi, ran a 26-page spread today of Kate Middleton nude and topless images, many of them the same as Closer's.

A statement released by Mondadori, the group that owns Chi and Closer, defended the decisions made by the respective editors to run a report on the pictures:

"The publisher respects the arguments put forward by the editors."

The Italian magazine Chi has vowed to publish more of the infamous nude and topless Kate Middleton photos that the British royal family is suing over.

France’s Closer magazine ran a whole spread devoted to Kate Middleton topless last week, prompting a stinging rebuke and a lawsuit from the Duchess.

Chi claims it has 200 images of the future queen sunbathing nude or at least topless, and will proceed with plans to print a 26-page, 50-photo article.

The Chi cover was unveiled Saturday in Italian newspapers and TV under the headline 'Court Scandal: The Queen is Nude!' Check that out below ...

Chi is published by the same media group as Closer.

Alfonso Signorini, the defiant editor of Chi, has Tweeted that “not even a direct call from the Queen” would stop him from publishing the trove of nude pictures:

“I am convinced by this scoop that Chi will be publishing on Monday because that is what we are talking about. These pictures are not offensive or in poor taste."

"They are not morbid and they do not damage the dignity of anyone. Instead the [Prince Harry naked pictures] published in Britain were exactly that."

"If I didn’t recognize the journalistic value of what I had then if I did not publish them I would be better off in a market selling artichokes."

Photos of Kate Middleton topless are heating up the Internet and incensing the Royal Family, with a lawsuit already underway against French tabloid Closer for daring to run such private images.

However, according to that magazine's editor, Laurence Pieau, the newlyweds should actually be grateful... because this scandal could be a lot messier! And a lot more naked..

The Prince and Kate Middleton

"I won't hide the fact that there are more intimate pictures that exist that we haven't published and will not publish," Pieau claims in a video interview. "These images are full of joy, not degrading."

You don't need to be Ray J to read between the lines of that statement.

Does Pieau really expect us to believe William and Kate were fornicating anywhere remotely public? And that she is withholding these joyful images out of sudden respect for the young couple?

The far more likely scenario is this: Pieau is bluffing a threat against the Palace in an attempt to stave off a lawsuit. Talk about a dangerous - and potentially HOT! - game of chicken.

THG will keep readers apprised of all the Royally topless, sexual, legal news as it breaks.
