Did Kate Gosselin get plastic surgery? It wouldn't be the first time.

Recent photos certainly would suggest it. When the former reality star recently reported for her first day of work as a CouponCabin (dot) com blogger, she revealed a new face to accompany her new gig, according to Us Weekly. The difference is notable.

Take a look at Kate Gosselin pictures through the years and see:

"She's consumed with her appearance," a source says of Gosselin, 36.

To keep a youthful appearance, the former reality star (Kate Plus 8 was canned, mercifully, this year) the single mom of eight relies on thrice-weekly tanning sessions ... and possibly Botox, and/or a face lift. Note the unnaturally arched eyebrows. Ick.

Not surprising, a source says: "Kate wants to look 10 years younger."

Don't we all. Luckily, not all of us overdo it in pursuit of a lost cause.

Going broke without the money train that was Kate Plus 8 funding her lifestyle and ego, Kate Gosselin has been forced to enter the workplace like a normal person.

Fortunately, she got a gig in a field she feels passionately about.

The reality TV mom of eight reported for her first day at CouponCabin, a web-based discount company, Thursday. She'll serve as a contributing blogger/manager.

Drawing upon her experience of clipping coupons like a madwoman, Kate Gosselin will now be giving online readers money-saving advice and shopping tips.

Kate Gosselin met with the CouponCabin team to “discuss creating exclusive coupons, blog ideas and money lessons that Kate has learned over the years.”

Kate’s first penny-pinching blog will run on Tuesday, November 22 and will feature tips on how to navigate the busiest holiday shopping day, Black Friday.

She may not be the best mom ever (who lets their kids play under the car), but at least Kate is doing what she has to do to make a living and save ends.

Kate Gosselin is not winning any parent of the year awards after this.

In startling photos taken yesterday, her kids were seen climbing around and beneath the family-size van, with one of their heads behind the right front wheel.

The alarming scenario occurred when the former reality star pulled up at a parking lot to meet the school bus and take her eight kids with Jon Gosselin home.

Kate was lambasted by parenting and child protection advocates:

"A minivan is a 3000-pound lethal weapon and having children crawling around it is not prudent," KidsAndCars (dot) org president Janette Fennell said.

Rather than getting out of the huge van to supervise them, Kate stayed in the driver seat as the kids piled in with their big backpacks on their backs.

Instead of following his siblings into the car, some of them scrambled all the way under the vehicle and play on the ground ... with the engine running.

Even though Kate didn't run anyone over, "She should have gotten out of the car to supervise, especially when you have that many kids," Fennell says.

"Kids tend to put themselves in harms way in an instant. You should never leave them unattended around vehicles. Children that age are unpredictable."

Maybe KG was just clipping coupons hard up front.

Maybe Kate Gosselin really is going broke without reality TV.

To make things a little easier with no job and eight kids to provide for, the 36-year-old single mom is clipping coupons to save some extra dough.

"No matter how much money you have, it's just smart to use coupons," she tells E! News, persuasively - there's really no arguing her on that point.

"It's like free money in your pocket."

She will blog about her coupon savings for CouponCabin (dot) com starting November 22. Not quite as lucrative a gig as her cancelled Kate Plus 8, but hey.

"One week, I remember saving more than half my grocery bill that week with coupons," recalls the former wife of Jon Gosselin. "I was beyond thrilled."

"I've never shopped at Bed, Bath and Beyond WITHOUT my coupons! I've returned with my receipt and a coupon many times, even when 'not broke.'"

As for the future, Kate admits she's worried about her lifestyle. "I hope I have a job," she sighed in a recent interview. "I don't know what's next."

Just keep blogging about laundry, Kate. Major web traffic will come.

William Blankinship, a TV editor who worked on TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8 and other family-oriented reality TV, was arrested last week on child porn charges.

Blankinship, 56, has been charged with 10 counts of sex exploit of a minor, meaning he possessed photos and/or video of a minor engaged in sexual activity.

A subcontractor for Figure 8 Films, Blankenship edited such TLC shows as Jon and Kate Plus 8, its spinoff Kate Plus 8, 17 Kids and Counting and Table for 12.

No bond has been set for the accused; he is likely "under the authority of the U.S. Marshals" until trial, a spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons said.

His employer wasted no time taking action. "Upon learning of the shocking allegations his employment was terminated," Figure 8 films said in a statement.

Fortunately, Blankinship was never in contact with the famous eight Gosselin kids, the 17 Duggar offspring or any other of TLC's stars, according to reports.

"At no time was this man ever in the field or in direct contact with any of the talent for any of our productions," the network said in its own statement.

Gone are the days of $700 haircuts. Here are the days of Kate Gosselin spotted out and about in Reading, Pa., at Target with daughters Mady and Cara.

They sure got huge since the Jon and Kate Plus 8 glory days!

The infamous reality mom did a little early holiday shopping as the paparazzi, who are somehow still camped out in middle-of-nowhere-PA, looked on:

Ever since her reality show got dropped by TLC, Kate has been whining that she'll be broke without Kate Plus 8, but has apparently come back to earth a bit.

In addition to shopping at Target and spending time at home, she's been running a website and Twitter account detailing the ins and outs of life as a mom.

A recent entry dealt with attacking the laundry. Last night she added:

“Can I just say how HAPPY I am to b in my bed??! What a day oh my oh my! I smile at my bed after days like these! GN all! Life beat me up 2day!xoxo”

We can't speak for anyone else, but consider us enlightened.

Kate Gosselin is reportedly going broke without Kate Plus 8 and has vowed to return to TV at some point. Will she succeed? That's anyone's guess right now.

Either way, she's Tweeting up a storm from her Pennsylvania home.

If you ever need any tips about how to do laundry for eight kids and yourself, boy does Kate have the advice that is going to transform your existence.

Her process is just common sense, but hey, at least she has some.

Kate suggests allowing kids to rewear "play clothes" until they become "visibly dirty." She also reuses bath towels and washes them only once per week.

Also, having kids help put away their clean clothes is a major time saver and teaches them responsibility. Consider yourselves enlightened right there.

Maybe we should give her a break. Lame as she is, trying to cling to some kind of relevance, attacking the laundry publicly beats attacking Jon Gosselin.

Five-star vacations. Thousand-dollar haircuts. Diva demands. Celebrity status.

Kate Gosselin was living the good life. Now that it's being taken away by TLC with the demise of Kate Plus 8, she's forced to face some harsh realities.

Namely that she's been living beyond her means and has no Plan B.

“This cancellation caught her completely by surprise - she’s devastated,” says an insider. “Kate’s worried about paying her bills and continuing to live the life she’s become accustomed to. She’d gotten used to money rolling in.”

Has she ever.

The unemployed mom shells out approximately $500,000 a year for two housekeepers, a pair of nannies, an assistant and bodyguard Steve Neild. He might be willing to work for "other compensation," but the rest of them? Doubtful.

Kate Gosselin WILL be back on TV.

The reality star and perennial contender for Worst Person in America made this abundantly clear this morning, mere hours before Kate Plus 8 airs its last episode.

Even Jon Gosselin has a clue these days and recently told Kate to get a life - as in a normal life - but she told Today's Matt Lauer that her concerns lie elsewhere.

Kate hilariously/depressingly expressed concern for her show's "devastated" fans whom she says must feel like they are losing their next-door neighbor.

While "there is some relief," she said, "there is sadness, because it's the end of an era." An era where she must now worry about her children, she says.

Regarding her ex-husband's advice to scale back, Kate countered, "Jon may be accepting of mediocre for his kids ... I only want the best for my kids."

More like for your ego, you grating banshee!

Jon Gosselin is speaking out in a (mercifully) rare interview, telling Rumor Fix exactly how he feels about ex-wife Kate and life in general nowadays.

His advice for his ex, who recently complained about life? “Reality TV is not a career. Get back to a normal life - a simple life. Provide for your family.”

Jon, who gave up TV and is enjoying work as a computer support engineer, is responding to Kate Gosselin whining about the cancellation of her show.

“I’m really scared,” she said after Kate Plus 8 was axed. While Kate says she is “freaking out” about her financial future, Jon is more optimistic:

“Things will work out the way they should work out. Obviously there are families out there that have several kids – people work normal jobs."

"Things work out," he adds. "Everything is possible. I don’t have a farm on 24 acres and the kids seem to have a great time at my house.”
