As the battle over Kate Gosselin and her online detractors rages on, Jon Gosselin is back in the middle of it and being accused of plotting to defame his ex.

Anti-bullying activist James McGiney, says he can prove Jon and anti-Kate author Robert Hoffman joined forces in a scheme to lie about Kate for profit.

McGinley, who owns Bullyville, recently announced a crusade (and lawsuit) against people he says have crossed the line in attacking the mother of eight.

That has not deterred Hoffman, Kate’s most ardent critic.

A woman who attacked Kate Gosselin hard on Twitter has been exposed, and has issued an apology after an anti-bullying group outed her online.

It's a new twist in the saga involving James McGibney of Bullyville (dot) com, who vowed to expose people who "crossed the line" attacking Kate.

True to his word, the haters were outed. Now one is profusely apologizing.

A women who uses the handle @chancertheboxer admits that McGibney found and posted her real name (which is not being printed here) on the web.

The woman reached out to celebrity gossip site Radar and asked that they relay the following message: “I am writing to apologize to Kate GOSSELIN."

Kate Gosselin and the website Bullyville recently encouraged the discovery of the real identities of some of the people who threatened her online.

Always a controversial figure, Kate is now at the center of a war between anti-bully activists and harsh critics of the reality star ... of which there are many.

James McGibney, head of Bullyville (dot com), exposed the real identities of numerous alleged Kate haters on Monday in a move that raised eyebrows.

He also threatened to call the employers of the Kate bashers, including the alleged older woman stalker who allegedly sent Kate more than 72,000 tweets.

Kate Gosselin is in the middle of another nasty battle on Twitter, and this one is weirder than ever. She's allegedly being stalked ... by an older woman.

A war between pro- and anti-Kate that's raging on Twitter has now gone nuclear as the group @Bullyville named what they claim is Kate’s stalker.

That stalker, they claim, is a 62-year-old woman.

Bullyville posted a screen grab Monday of a tweet apparently sent to Kate containing what appears to be a chilling threat plus profane, abusive language:

Kate Gosselin is always beefing with someone, and sure enough, she's gotten involved in a new Twitter feud ... with a man with the last name Gosselin.

The reality star is demanding that she change it immediately.

An irate Kate Tweeted recently at Carlos Gosselin:

“@RealCGosselin it is illegal to impersonate people on twitter etc. please change your ID and email immediately. Thank you. @Support”

Carlos Gosselin hit back at the reality show mom:

“@Support hey can you tell Kate Gosselin to take accept that there are other people with the same last name. She may have her panties in a wad.”

Kate Gosselin believes ex-husband Jon Gosselin is behind the tell-all book that exposes her (alleged) evil ways, and is considering suing him over it.

This could take away his right to see their children - or even land him in jail - but sources close to Jon say she has no grounds for such legal action.

“Jon was notified recently of Kate’s intentions to file a lawsuit against him, but the whole thing is ridiculous,” a source close to the situation tells Radar.

“Kate has been shopping her lawsuit around to various law firms, but no one is interested because she has no actual evidence to support her case!”

Watching Kate Gosselin and Kendra Wilkinson trade lives for a day on Celebrity Wife Swap felt oddly like old times. You know, when they were on TV a lot.

As a single mother of eight children, it was kind of a total cakewalk for Kate to slip into Kendra's life - one child, a husband present, a full-time nanny even.

Still, all Kate seemed to see were examples of how Kendra is not that great of a mother, and lazy to boot. She didn't hold back at all about her experiences.
