Kate Gosselin is a reality TV star with eight children and a famous, annoying ex-husband. She and Jon Gosselin were at the center of Jon...

Former tabloid journalist Robert Hoffman has been exposing stunning secrets about Kate Gosselin for weeks now.

First we learned that Gosselin used her kids to become famous (a plan she apparently formulated before she even had a family or a spouse/sperm donor).

Then came reports of the awful, abusive treatment to which Gosselin subjected her children and husband, the likes of which their TLC show barely scratched the surface of.

Hoffman now says Kate forcing her kids to be on TV was just the tip of the iceberg.

Kate Gosselin, Twins
Kate Gosselin is the mother of many kids. But she always put her financial and famous interests about theirs it seems.

The author claims to have obtained excerpts from Gosselin's journal, including one 2007 entry in which the reality star writes of a "stress meltdown," during which she physically attacked son Colin.

Hoffman says it all started when Colin knocked over a chair after being punished:

Steve Neild, the longtime bodyguard, adviser and rumored side piece of Kate Gosselin, has resigned from that position, according to news reports.

The 51-year-old silver fox has left Gosselin after many years together and starting a new job as Executive Vice President of Prudential Associates.

He and the reality star “no longer have any communication.”

Are Kate Gosselin and Steve Neild dating? We wouldn't necessarily assume so ... but we wouldn't write off the possibility either.

Rumors of an affair between Kate Gosselin and Steve Neild have dogged both of them for years, dating back to when she was still married to Jon.

It was never established if they were romantically involved, but you had to wonder, and even if they weren't, their relationship took a toll on his marriage.

Steve's wife, Gina, reportedly told her husband "his time with Kate as her bodyguard was making the family miserable and that he had to make a choice."

As a result, according to a neighbor of the couple, the bodyguard “made a decision to spend quality time with his family this summer,” and move on.

Kate Gosselin is the subject of a new tell-all book by Robert Hoffmen entitled Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World.

As you may have guessed from the title, the book contains some stunning revelations about Gosselin's rise to fame, as well as the stunning manner in which she's used her children to boost her career.

Satan

Hoffman even goes so far as to claim that Gosselin had kids just to become famous. Once she achieved that goal, Kate proceeded to abuse her husband, kids, and staff.

In one shocking excerpt, Hoffman reveals that Gosselin called her kids "disabled" in a letter, in hopes of obtaining free state childcare.

Now that he's proven that Gosselin herself is untrustworthy, Hoffman has set out reveal that the show that made her famous is equally fraudulent:

In another email allegedly written by Kate Gosselin, tell-all book author Robert Hoffman claims the reality TV queen used the offensive term “retarded.”

In reference to other mothers of multiples, no less.

Nails on a Chalk Board

Hoffman claims to obtained emails written by Kate and writes about them with excerpts in his book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World.

In one such telling email from 2006, an organization for moms with multiples allegedly reached out to Kate’s ex, Jon, to get them involved in their cause.

Jon forwarded Kate an email that he had received the day before from the coordinator the MOST forum (MOST stands for Mothers of Supertwins).

The forum coordinator, Patti T., asked Jon Gosselin if he would be willing to post something to introduce himself and his family on the forum.

Kate? Not too keen on that idea for whatever reason.

“It is not clear why Patti T.’s email annoyed Kate, but her curt response to Jon about it was ... well, Kate told him, ‘These people are retarded!’”

It's shocking but it's true:

Going on a reality TV show in order to discuss your relationship problems rarely ever actually solves those relationship problems.

Just ask Kate Gosselin. Or Kris Jenner. Or Jake Pavelka. (Remember him? We're very sorry if you do.)

You could also ask Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, who awkwardly played out the consequences of the latter cheating on his wife via episode of True Tori... and who are now set to star on ANOTHER reality show together.

We're not sure if their marriage is real, if the infidelity was simply conjured up for the cameras or if two people can sink much lower than this pair.

But we do know Tori and Dean weren't the first couple to crumble in front of our television-viewing eyes. Nor will they be the last.

In his new tell-all book, author Robert Hoffman claims that Kate Gosselin used her kids to make her famous and had always planned on having as many children as possible in order to become a reality star.

If that was really Kate's sick plan (Gosselin claims Hoffman's book is fabricated, but has declined to sue), then it might help to explain why she's so intent on taking full advantage of her ill-gotten fame:

That Kate Gosselin Look

A newly released excerpt from Hoffman's Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World reveals a ridiculous list of demands Kate made while traveling to New York City to promote her TLC reality show, back when she was still married to Jon Gosselin.

"Not many people do 'rude' quite as well as Kate does," Hoffman writes. "Kate had some very specific demands for accommodations while traveling."

He then lists a series of bizarre stipulations that were submitted to TLC and had to be agreed upon before Kate would consent to stay at the upscale Essex House in NYC:

Earlier this week, we told you about a shocking new report that Kate Gosselin ordered her nanny to spy on Jon Gosselin.

Now, a source tells Radar Online that Kate is in no way ashamed of her shady maneuvers. Well, at least that one specifically.

In fact, she admits she ordered the childcare worker to spy on her husband out of necessity, and says she'd do it again in a heartbeat!

  • What a Complete Tool

Kate reportedly claims that she's been forced to keep tabs on her Jon and ban him from her home, because he supplements his income by selling private information to tabloids.

"The only reason Kate was so strict with the nannies pertaining to Jon is because he tells the tabloids what is going on within the family," says an insider close to Kate.

"She also does not allow Jon in her house at all, because he takes papers and whatever he can get his hands on to use against her."

Kate Gosselin is livid at the re-release of Robert Hoffman's book, calling it fabricated and untrue, though she may not seek legal action against him.

In 2012, Hoffman first released the e-book with bombshell allegations that Kate Gosselin is an abusive monster who is cruel to kids and even pets.

The book was pulled after a huge lawsuit against Hoffman and Jon Gosselin, who was accused of helping him obtain material illegally, was filed by Kate.

She eventually dropped her lawsuit for undisclosed reasons this year ... and on June 24, Hoffman released Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World again.

The book now includes additional, damning information about the Kate Plus 8 star, including claims that she used her children to gain fame and fortune.

She even called her kids “disabled” in a letter to the State of Pennsylvania while scheming to obtain free full-time child care, Hoffman alleges.

Kate Gosselin's one-time nanny says the TLC star ordered her to spy on ex-husband Jon and report back with every possible detail about her former spouse.

According to a Radar report, Kate orders the help to keep tabs on Jon in her secret babysitter rule book, a manual that is jaw-dropping even by her standards.

  • Put a Sock In It
  • A Jon G. Pic

In the handbook, Kate threatens that she will “freak out” if the nannies don’t perfectly conquer landscaping, cleaning, and even caring for her chicken flock.

Most importantly, though, they must eavesdrop during phone chats between her eight children and their dad, and report back to her with all the details.

“ALWAYS listen with one ear to hear what they are saying,” she writes. “You are always my eyes and ears and need to report everything you see and hear!!!”

In the rule book, Gosselin also demands nannies limit the number of calls her kids share with Jon, and if they do contact him, remain on HIGH ALERT.

It might seem hard to believe, but Kate Gosselin has just hit a new low.

A new book claims Gosselin had kids so she could become famous, and an excerpt from the tell-all that reveals Kate's attempts to pawn her kids off on the state seems to only corroborate that.

Author and outspoken Gosselin critic Robert Hoffman has said that his book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World, would expose Kate as a bully, scam artist, and abusive mom.

It now seems he's made good on that promise:

The book includes a letter written by Gosselin in 2005 as part of her effort to receive free childcare from the state of Pennsylvania. One alarming passage reads:
