A little over a month after a very public split ... Kat Von D is engaged to Deadmau5!

The DJ popped the question to the tattoo artist this weekend ... on Twitter obvi:

"I can't wait for Christmas so.... Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?"

He posted a picture of the potential ring, adding: "Changing the diamond to a black diamond FYI. Sorry for the jpg... they'll finish the actual ring soon I hope. I love u :D"

As for Kat Von D's answer to the proposal? Yes, of course.

Former LA Ink star Kat Von D was granted a temporary restraining order today against a crazed fan she claims has been stalking her in person and via Twitter.

Von D alleges that Michael Nunn tried to contact her online, showed up at her business and then, on April 29, called her phone from the street outside her house.

A police report filed by Von D (and included in her filing) notes that police searched for suspects when they arrived but found no evidence of suspicious activity.

He also sent a box of candy to her house May 5, alleges Von D. After she told him on May 29 to stop trying to reach her, Nunn tweeted out her phone number.

Guess this game of Kat and Mau5 wasn't meant to be.

On the heels of the Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez breakup, reality star Kat Von D has split with electronic music titan Deadmau5, according to reports.

The tattoo artist, best known for her 79 engagements and splits with Jesse James, took to Twitter (obviously) to announce that she and Deadmau5 broke up.

"Man... Can't say I didn't give it my best," she wrote, noting, "Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off. #lessonlearned."

The apparent couple was spotted for the first time on a date yesterday in L.A., holding hands for the cameras. Later, he gushed over her on social media.

Ah, 21st Century, heavily tattooed love.

"Yeah, im [in] love," tweeted the popular and outspoken DJ. "inb4 I find a f**k to give over the Internet implodes over it ;) at least I'm happy! Lol"

He posted another tweet after hanging with Kat, writing "aw man... i just had a f**kin awesome day and it's not even over yet. :D feelsgoodman."

Good to hear man. Good to hear. Feelin' good is key.

Kat Von D, who was engaged to Jesse James (twice) before accusing him of cheating on her prolifically, still has a tattoo of his face on her body.

She hasn't commented on her new man/mau5 yet.

After Jesse James cheated on her 19 times and she got engaged to him on almost as many occasions, Kat Von D is moving on and stepping out.

With her new boyfriend, English rapper Scroobius Pip.

Yup, that's his name. Well actually it's David Meads, but he goes by Scroobius Pip, half of the electro hip-hop duo dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip.

Although he’s not all that well known in the English music mainstream, Pip had some success last year with his solo album, Distraction Pieces.

Von D and her rapper beau looked cozy as they shopped on trendy Melrose Ave., but the romance could end up being merely a vacation fling.

Pip hails from (and still resides in) Essex, England, which may put a strain on their relationship, as he is headed back there in the near future.

Another potential hangup? Her would-be married name of Kat Von D Pip.

Michelle "Bombshell" McGee says Kat Von D really shouldn't have expected anything less than being cheated on by Jesse James repeatedly. Hey, she would know.

Just hours after Kat claimed James cheated on her with 19 women, McGee said she warned Von D days after her engagement that the relationship wouldn't last.

She's right, too. She did say that, and it didn't last.

Kat (left) probably won't receive a sympathetic call from Bombshell (right).

"I'd have been surprised if they made it to the altar," said McGee, who got a lot of mileage out of being railed by James while he was married to Sandra Bullock.

An an interview with TMZ Tuesday, McGee did not seem particularly sympathetic to Von D. That's putting it mildly. She called her a "dumbass" and "irrelevant."

"She got my sloppy seconds and her show got canceled ... rough year, Kat Von Dude!"

Ouch. Although it's more like sloppy 20ths at this point if we're being technical.

Kat Von D does not hold back in a scathing Facebook post about Jesse James.

She says Sandra Bullock's ex cheated on her as well ... 19 times to be exact.

Moreover, the tattoo artiste says she ran into the 19th girl James that nailed during their relationship, which ended in September: "Today I encountered the 19th girl on the list of people Jesse cheated on me with during this last year," Kat's post began.

“I kept going back and forth in my mind as to what the best way would be for me to let go of and release residual feelings remaining from that toxic relationship." 

Adds Von D, who ended her engagement to James this fall, "All of this may sound petty or immature, but I assure you this is coming from a place of honesty and love.”

Kat says she tried to prove people wrong after Jesse was outed for cheating with Michelle McGee and many others, ruining his marriage to Sandra Bullock.

“There was a time when I was confident and excited at proving the world wrong, because I believed so deeply in people's ability to change,” she wrote.

“Although this was not the primary purpose of the relationship, I did feel like it would be positive for those who judged Jesse solely based on what they read in tabloids, to see that change is always possible - even in people who seem hopeless.”

It wasn't to be, apparently. Kat's now calling Jesse out herself:

Guess Kat Von D's relationship with Jesse James (they broke up a second time last month) provided too much potential not to be used somewhere.

She's coming out with a debut album! Seriously, she is.

"I've been passionate about music all my life," Von D told E! at the Rage video game launch in L.A. "I've been playing classical piano since I was six. So I understand the form, but it will be fun to be able to translate a message."

What is Kat Von D's approach to making music, exactly?

"I think it's much like tattooing or the TV show or makeup, my clothing line, fashion," she said. "All those things, they're just different outlets to be able to be creative. So music, I think, it's just going to be one of those things."

Sure it is.

As for the sound, Von D says it will be "more on the dark, more tragically romantic" side, so kind of a la Depeche Mode and the Cure, only edgier.

Only one question: Where do we pre-order??!

Kat Von D and Jesse James broke up. Again.

The troubled, tattooed couple has called it quits once again, calling off their engagement for the second time this year, Von D revealed on Facebook.

"I am not in a relationship. (And I apologize for all the "back and forth" if it's caused any confusion)," said the star of LA Ink, which TLC broke up with recently.

The duo called off their engagement in July, for reasons still not entirely clear, only to be back on again and planning a wedding a mere month later.

Now it's off again. As for why they separated, Von D tells People: "It just became clear to me that we were just on two different paths in life."

"My friend put it best ... I am deserving of total, noble love. And as a woman, I think it's important to know your value and never lose sight of that."

So basically ... Jesse fell short of providing that?

It's not exactly far-fetched when you think about it, but did you know that Kat Von D once tattooed the Mother Monster? Well, now you do - and can watch it!

The L.A. Ink finale was last, but far more noteworthy than anything that took place on the show is this footage of Kat Von D and Lady Gaga back in 2008.

You know Gaga wasn't a global superstar just yet because she's still wearing pants (albeit metallic blue spandex ones) as she converses with the tattoo artiste:

"You're from New York, right?" Von D asks. "Yeah, I was born and raised in Manhattan, and I just moved out here," Lady Gaga replies, almost quaintly.

"I'm a singer, but I'm also a songwriter for other artists, so I've just been workin' and doing shows." We'd say it's worked out fairly well for her since.

Apparently Kat, who is responsible for some of the better known celebrity tattoos out there, did some of the roses that adorn Gaga's body. Fun fact!
