Before there was Kim Kardashian... before there there was North West... before there was a racist media to rant at... there was Fat Beats.

In 1996, this famous hip hop shop in New York City was moved to on 6th Avenue near West 8th Street, welcoming artists from all over to freestyle and help promote its new location.

And one of those artists would go on to become the Michael Jordan of music.

His name was Kanye West. He was only 19 years old. And Fat Beats employee DJ Eclipse filmed him rapping for a solid 90 seconds.

It's unclear why this footage only just hit the Web this week, but it's very much worth your time to view:

Can you see the seeds of a future superstar here?

Kanye West and Future have unveiled the official music video for the track in which they brag about women they've bedded as trophies.

Indeed, in "I Won," Kanye is on the beach in the following footage, talking trash to Kris Humphries and Reggie Bush when it comes to landing Kim Kardashian and singing:

"I want to dip that ass in gold/I made it over NBA, NFL players/So every time I score it’s like the Super Bowl."

Isn't that just the sweetest thing ever?!? Almost as romantic as when Kanye told the world about blowing a load of semen into his fiancee's mouth?

We can't wait until little North West learns how to use the Internet...

Ray J may have hit it first.

But Kanye West hit it last - and he's making sure everyone now knows it.

Collaborating with Future on the track “I Won,” West raps in the following track about beating out the likes of Reggie Bush and Kris Humphries for Kim Kardashian, telling the world:

"I want to dip that ass in gold/I made it over NBA, NFL players/So every time I score it’s like the Super Bowl."

Listen now and hear Kanye also give props to Kylie, Kendall, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, saying of Kris Jenner: "All your mama ever made was trophies."

About a month ago, Kanye also rapped about blowing his load in Kim's mouth.

According to a new report, Kanye West may help write a biopic about his life that would star Kim Kardashian in a major role.

We cannot verify the accuracy of this information.

But we can confirm that the rapper will soon release a concert movie using footage from his "Yeezus" tour, similar to the films made in the past by One Direction and Justin Bieber.

“Yeezus film directed by Hype Williams coming to theaters," Kanye simply wrote as a caption to the following trailer.

The legendary Elton John has received top-billing for the 2014 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, often referred to simply as Bonnaroo, this summer.

Other headliners at the four-day event in Manchester, Tenn.: Kanye West, Jack White, Lionel Ritchie, Vampire Weekend, the Avette Brothers and Phoenix.

We imagine not even a man with the ego the size of Mr. Kim Kardashian can complain about Sir Elton John's name appearing first on the Bonnaroo bill.

Sir Elton John will headline Bonnaroo 2014.

Set for the weekend of June 12-15, the festival features a cross-section of artists amid multiple genres (if the headliners alone didn't make that clear).

Produced and promoted by Superfly and AC Entertainment, Bonnaroo draws about 80,000 people a year and includes a comedy tent and film screenings.

There is also a mini-craft beer festival complete with beer classes, and a 5K race. Tickets go on sale February 22 at noon EST and start at $249.50.

As for another annual, acclaimed multi-day music event, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (often just called Coachella) is sold out already.

A reunited OutKast will anchor Coachella 2014, set for the weekends of April 11-13 and April 18-20 on a polo field in the desert city of Indio, Calif.

The complete Bonnaroo 2014 lineup appears after the jump:

There may not be a Kim Kardashian sex tape sequel on the way.

But Kanye West has given fans another video that's all about giving it to this often-naked reality star.

In the newly released remix of Beyonce and Jay Z's "Drunk in Love," Kanye raps all about doing it with Kim in the reverse cowgirl position (look it up, kids) before concluding with the line:

"I impregnated your mouth, girl... that's when I knew you could be my spouse, girl."

Yeah. Let's all pray North West never learns how to use the Internet.

Kanye West has been in our lives for a full decade now.

Yesterday marked the 10-year anniversary of "The College Dropout," West's acclaimed debut album.

And how did the future Kim Kardashian respond to this milestone? With a Twitter rant, of course, thanking fans, saying he's "that same kid from Chicago" and taking aim at any and all doors.

Wrote West:

"I am extremely grateful to each and every person along that road who helped, lent an ear, lent their voice.. gave of their heart to that project, and to all the projects that followed, and are to come."

Kanye West didn't boot any hecklers from his show in Phoenix last night.

But that doesn't mean the rapper was in a good mood.

A few days after only receiving a pair of Grammy nominations - for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song - Kanye addressed the crowd in Arizona and wondered whether there was some kind of biased against him.

"Yeezus is the top one or two album on every single list, but only gets two nominations from the Grammys," a masked West complained. "What are they trying to say?"
