Us Weekly would like to correct a story originally published by... Us Weekly.

Last week, the tabloid published a cover headline that was taken from the title of a certain hit song, and then went on to quote a source who said Kanye West believes Kim Kardashian is his Beyonce. The problem, according to Kanye?

He'd never say such a thing!

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in Love!

"I would never compare anyone to my friend's wife," West tells Us Weekly, adding hilariously: "That doesn't even sound like me... If I don't say something in a rap or on Twitter, it's not true."

Except, well, isn't he saying this in a non-rap and a non-Tweet? Nevermind.

Trying to figure out Kanye West is a lot like trying to figure out why Kanye West is dating Kim Kardashian. Then again, we guess there are two pretty good reasons.

Kanye West still claims to love Kim Kardashian in his latest single, but he has relevant breaking news regarding the track initially dubbed "Theraflu."

It is now titled "Way Too Cold," a move Kanye labels as a "creative decision" on his official website, but more likely one made in response to backlash from Theraflu manufacturer Novartis, which released the following statement soon after the song hit the Internet:

"Novartis Consumer Health in no way endorses or approves of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner."

West is also facing fire from PETA for a lyric in the single that mentions how his "mink is draggin' on the floor." Don't look for him to give in to those attention-starved morons, though.

They suck, and he's too busy pretending to be in a relationship with Kardashian.

It doesn't appear that President Obama's opinion of Kanye West has changed.

After Obama let it slip before an interview (below) with ABC's Nightline two years ago that he thought the rapper was a "jackass" for interrupting Taylor Swift's speech at the MTV VMAs, he offered up a further assessment of him this week.

The verdict? Unchanged.

Asked if he prefers Kanye or Jay-Z," the President replied with a smile, "Jay-Z. Although I do like Kanye. He's a Chicago guy. Smart. He's very talented."

After being reminded of the slam heard around the world, Obama stuck to his guns regarding the outspoken performer and boyfriend of Kim Kardashian.

"He is a jackass," he added. "But he's talented."

His girlfriend, on the other hand ...

PR stunt, schmee-R stunt.Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Kanye West is totes in love with Kim Kardashian, at least according to Us Weekly sources.

"They're perfect for each other. He thinks she's his Beyonce," an insider says of Kanye's feelings, adding that the rapper's fallen "genuinely head over heels" for the infamous, voluptuous, expressionless-as-drywall reality star.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in Love!

Kim and Kanye have been friends since 2004, with this source claiming the latter pursued the former for a very long time.

Why did Kardashian finally give in to the relationship with the loquacious rapper? We'll have to ask her mom and/or public relations team.

Kim herself has been surprisingly mum on the topic of a romance with Kanye, while Kris Humphries doesn't care at all about the exploits of his ex.

Kris Humphries is so over Kim Kardashian.

According to sources close to the NBA star, that is. The New Jersey Nets forward is said to be "completely indifferent" to the news Kim is dating Kanye West.

Simply put, Kris is focused on the divorce being finalized and not concerned with Kim's new relationship(s). They split up for a reason, after all.

With each passing day, Kris is more sure than ever that Kim "doesn't represent the things he believes in" and wants to wash his hands of her.

As for Kanye West's "Theraflu" assertion that he could've had Nets co-owner Jay-Z kick Humphries off the team, Kris' friends note - correctly - that Jay does not even make personnel decisions, and regardless, the mogul is a fan of Kris.

Meanwhile, a report in Star (we know, we know), says Kris doubts Kim's faithfulness to him during their incredibly long marriage ... yadda yadda yadda.

“Kris knows that while he was with Kim, he was completely faithful and has serious doubts that she could say the same,” a fake Humphries insider said.

Ah, so this is what has brought Kim Kardashian and Kanye West together: a shared enemy.

Not long after someone with a connection to PETA and an unhealthy affection for fur tossed flour all over Kardashian, the organization has come out and responded to a taunt from Kanye in his latest song, "Theraflu."

As you can hear above, West raps at one point in this new track: "Tell PETA my mink is draggin' on the floor."

And, because it just can't resists any opportunity to make a headline, PETA actually took the bait and replied, via the following statement by Senior Vice President Dan Mathews:

"What's draggin' on the floor is Kanye's reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings. He's a great musician but doesn't seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes. We keep hoping that one day he'll find his heart and join evolved style icons - including Russell Simmons, Pink and Natalie Portman - who have dropped animal skins."

Note to PETA: have you seen who Kanye is now dating? We're pretty sure he no longer cares about his reputation.

Wardashian lives!

Following the release of a Kanye West track in which he expresses love for Kim Kardashian, followed by a TMZ spy spotting these two exiting a movie theater in New York City two days ago, a source now confirms:

Kim and Kanye truly are a couple.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

"Kim and Kanye have now just started dating," an insider tells People, adding that they are keeping it "light," and "seeing where it goes."

West and Kardashian have been friends for years. The former attended the latter's 30th birthday party in 2010 and even made a cameo on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. But don't expect that to happen again if this relationship lasts: Kim hilariously claims she'll be more private in her next romance.

Do you think Kim and Kanye will last?

Apparently we owe a giant apology to Amber Rose.

Kanye Picture

The model went off a couple months ago about an affair between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, saying the rapper and the reality star got together when she was dating the former and the latter was in a relationship with Reggie Bush.

Now, in the just-released track "Theraflu," Kanye seems to corroborate this allegation, coming straight out and admitting: I fell in love with Kim around the same time she fell in love with him. Listen for yourself:

West also makes a reference to Kim's ex-husband, Kris Humphries, who plays power forward for the New Jersey Nets, an NBA team partially owned by Kanye's good pal, Jay-Z. Hence, the following "Theraflu" lyric:

Well that's cool, baby girl, do your thing, lucky I ain't have Jay drop him from the team.

So... yeah. Wow. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. You'd think the music mogul could do better than the wooden reality star, but then you think of Ray J's description of Kim and remember: Right! Sexual hypnosis.

UPDATE: Sources tell TMZ Kim and Kanye are dating! Right now! For real! They saw The Hunger Games this week together in NYC!

Amber Rose is sticking to her story: Kanye West cheated on her with Kim Kardashian.

But the model and aspiring artist is just keeping it real and being honest, she says. She isn't actually angry at either party. At least not anymore.

Amber Rose Paparazzi Pic

"I forgive her," Rose told TMZ last night. "And I forgive Kanye too... it's not a big deal, you know?"

Amber even says she made a mistake in referring to Kim as a "homewrecker" in her initial interview with Star.

"That was kind of mean," Rose admitted yesterday, adding: "I'm not a mean-spirited person... I just acted on my emotions when I said it."

Watch the throne ... Steve Jobs.

Kanye West, who has never been accused of thinking small, or having a modest opinion of himself, detailed plans for a new production company on Twitter Wednesday.

In a three-hour rant, the 34-year-old rapper / hip-hop mogul outlined his plan for Donda, a brand-new, far-reaching company named after his late mother Donda West.

Donda will "pick up where Steve Jobs left off," West said of the late, visionary Apple CEO / founder. Way to set manageable expectations. How will it do that, exactly, Kanye?

  • Kanye Smiles
  • R.I.P. Steve Jobs

With 22 divisions of writers, DJs, publicists, designers, musicians, scientists and SO much more, the company headed by the musician will strive to "make products and experiences that people want and can afford," West Tweeted.

He will "help simplify and aesthetically improve everything we see hear, touch, taste and feel," and "dream of, create, advertise and produce products driven equally by emotional want and utilitarian need... To marry our wants and needs."

Again, no baby steps for Mr. West.
