In the trailer for Season 4 of Teen Mom 2, viewers witnessed Kailyn Lowry hitting both husband Javi Morroquin and Jo Rivera, the father of her son.

That led Kailyn to apologize and some fans to speculate that Lowry might even be subject to domestic violence charges ... but did this even happen?

The trailer shows Kailyn pushing Javi, apparently causing him to storm out, but a friend of Lowry's claims MTV edited the footage to exaggerate it.

"She never hit him," Lex Lopez, who reportedly witnessed the incident, said. “She pushed him out of frustration and was instantly sorry for her actions."

In advance of this evening's emotional third season-ender, MTV has announced the official premiere date for Teen Mom 2 Season 4. And it's hella soon!

Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, Leah Messer Calvert, and Kailyn Lowry return in just two weeks. February 18 marks the start of the fourth season.

A two-hour reunion special hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky will air next Monday, February 11, before Season 4 gets underway. Will that season be its last?

Last week, multiple sources erroneously reported Teen Mom 2 canceled already, while others said it is "definitely on its way out" after Season 4.

Looks like Jenelle Evans and Amber Portwood have company.

Kailyn Lowry of Teen Mom 2 recently revealed that she has bipolar disorder. "My mom is bipolar and it turns out I am too," she said in a recent interview.

Lowry discovered her diagnosis after deciding to go to counseling following a very heated argument with her new husband, Javi Marroquin, and his family.

The details on their argument have not been discussed, but Kailyn wanted to offer a public mea culpa to Teen Mom 2 viewers and everyone involved.

"I just want to publicly apologize in advance to my fans," Kailyn said.
