Justin Bieber gets it. There's a major temptation to text while driving.

But this 17-year old has a simple message in the following video: resist. For your own safety and for the safety of those around you, do not do it.

"There are too many lives lost to such a preventable issue like texting and driving," Bieber told E! News at a campaign for Drive Safe, a free app that actually makes it impossible for a smartphone keyboard to work inside a vehicle going above 10 miles/hour.

Move over Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are a pair of real-life wedding crashers!

Following a dinner date in Malibu over the weekend, the couple was taking a stroll down the beach when their heard a reception playing one of Justin's songs and figured, hey, let's stop by!

A guest at the party tells Perez Hilton that Bieber "took the microphone, congratulated the newlywed couple, and said a few nice words, while posing for a series of pictures with his fans." Check one out here:

Justin and Selena only stuck around for about 10 minutes, resisting the urge to perform karaoke for the guests. But they left an impression that will last a lifetime.

Forget a new toaster or vase. The presence of Jelena should be on the wedding registry of all future couples!

Even a Gold medalist can be a Belieber.

Upon winning the Best Female Athlete at the ESPY Awards last night for the second consecutive year, skier Lindsey Vonn took to the stage, thanked ESPN, her husband and her fans... and then asked Justin Bieber if he'd take a photo with her for Facebook.

The singer obviously obliged, as you can see HERE. Check out the speech below.

In other ESPY news related to this pair: Vote on Justin versus Dirk Nowitzki in a Fashion Face-Off, and then do the same with Vonn versus Serena Williams.

One enjoyed an incredible year in his field, earning an MVP trophy for one of the most inspired basketball performances of the last 12 months.

The other is Dirk Nowitzki.

But while the short singer and the tall NBA power forward seem to have nothing in common, both turned out for the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles last night. Bieber was simply a cute attendee, but Nowitzki walked away with the titles of Best NBA Player and Best Male Athlete.

Best Dressed, though? That's up to readers to decide below.

Fashion Face-Off!

They are both solid ballers, but only one can win this matchup. Will it be The Biebs or The Dirk? View Poll »

Kanye West isn't exactly known as the most magnanimous man in Hollywood. His Tweets are epic, his concert rants controversial.

But Justin Bieber has worked with the rapper and said of Kanye in a recent interview with hip-hop magazine XXL: "He's not really an asshole like everyone makes him out to be."

Whoa. Dropping the A-bomb! Justin must be serious.

Granted, Bieber admits, West "can do bad things" and, yes, he can "make bad decisions." Overall, though? "He's really generally a good guy," Bieber said of the artist with whom he collaborated on "Runaway Love."

Give the Biebs credit - or scoff at his decisions - for being unafraid to align himself with stars who don't fit his squeaky clean image. There's Kanye here. And then there's the duet he produced with Chris Brown.

Shield your eyes, Beliebers.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were spotted at Lucky Strike in downtown Los Angeles last night, enjoying each other's company and singing a duet of Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock's "Picture." They sealed the performance with a smooch, as seen here:

If it's any comfort, Justin lovers, the single is about a long-distance couple that can't really make things right.

So far, though, even with Selena surging past her man in popularity, all appears very, very well in Jelena world. Sorry.

Selena Gomez is more popular than Justin Bieber these days. Unlike the guilt of Casey Anthony, this is a fact.

Gomez has jumped past her boyfriend to claim the number-one spot on Billboard's Social 50 list, a ranking that considers the "most active artists on the world’s leading social networking sites... using a formula blending weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with weekly artist page views and weekly song plays," according to the company behind it.

Bieber does come in at number-two on the list, at least. Let's take a look at the top five, shall we?

  1. Selena Gomez
  2. Justin Bieber
  3. Michael Jackson
  4. Lady Gaga
  5. Shakira

Perhaps Selena owes Justin a comforting foot massage now. No matter which order they are in, though, it's clear: this couple owns the Internet.

He may not be able to move magazines, but Justin Bieber knows a thing or two million about selling perfume.

Following the singer's launch of "Someday" at Macy's late last month, Muriel Gonzalez, store executive vice president and general manager, said sales were on track to be the "biggest we've ever had."

In February of last year, Beyoncé set the Macy's record when she debuted "Heat" at the same location and sold $3 million worth of it during the first month on counter.

Bieber's estimates, according to The Hollywood Reporter? $30 million.

That's mind-boggling, but we'll see how the scent performs throughout 2011. In 2002, Jennifer Lopez's "Glow earned over $100 million in its first year on the market, while Britney Spears matched that mark with "Curious" two years later.

It's stunning but true: not everyone in the country is inflicted with Justin Bieber Fever. Millions of cases in point: those who typically read Vanity Fair.

The February issue of this magazine, which featured the 17-year old icon on the cover, has sold a mere 246,000 copies since its release. That makes it the second-worst selling edition of the publication EVER, moving more issues than only a Will Smith-anchored issue from 1999.

In related news, an April 2010 People magazine that also featured the Biebs reportedly sold 25 percent less than that publication's average.

So, what's the deal, Beliebers? Are you falling out of love with Mr. Selena Gomez? Or do you simply get your Bieber intel from blogs such as THG? (Editor's note: Thank you!)

Like Andy Samberg and T-Pain, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez spent part of their holiday weekend on a boat.

The couple were spotted in Sag Harbor, New York on Friday, hanging out on a 155-foot yacht with random fellow celebrities Russell Simmons and former Florida Governor Charlie Crist.

A Flower from Biebs

"They were messing around," an onlooker told The New York Daily News of Justin and Selena. "They showed affection, but it wasn't like they were groping each other."

However - eek alert! - this witness says Bieber took "off his shirt and [was] playing patty-cake with Selena."
