Contrary to previous rumors/prayers of every 14-year old girl across the country, Justin Bieber and One Direction will not be collaborating on any music in the near future.

"We've never actually been asked by him," Liam Payne told E! News, while Louis Tomlinson added he doesn't even know if the two sides would mesh: "I think we both do quite different things. We make different music. He's doing his thing, and we're doing our thing.

However, Bieber and a couple One Direction members are cooking up something together: an actual meal of food!

Niall Horan and Zayn Malik stopped by Bieber's house last night, following the MTV Video Music Awards, and shared the experience with a few million Twitter followers.

"At my house cooking some noodles with @NiallOfficial," Bieber Tweeted along with these photos, adding: "Guys night in full effect."

Earlier in the evening, Horan, Malik and their fellow group members took home three VMA trophies and also performed the smash "One Thing." All in all, in other words: not a shabby few hours.

Carly Rae Jepsen and Justin Bieber are about to make beautiful music together... literally!

The 26-year old will release a new album on September 18 (titled "Kiss") and one of the tracks included on it will be a duet with the young man who made Jepsen famous.

It's called "Beautiful" and you can sample about 90 seconds of it here:

Bieber, of course, helped sign Jepsen to his manager's label. He then appeared in the first-ever lip dub of "Call Me Maybe" and also performed that single with her in London.

What do you think of "Beautiful?"

Justin Bieber has been crowned. By himself.

The (topless!!!) singer revealed a new tattoo to followers on Twitter last night, posting the photo below along and making the crown on his upper right chest clear.

He included the funny caption: "Im thinking to myself 'wow really justin 3 shirtless pics in 3 days' who do i think i am a young @Mark_Wahlberg sheesh lol."

This is merely Bieber's latest permanent mark.

He also has a big picture of Jesus Christ on his calf, along with a tattoo that matches his dad's: father and son both have "Yeshua," the Hebrew word for "Jesus," tattooed vertically on their left torsos.

What do you think of Justin's most recent addition? Compare it now to the newest from Lady Gaga, who also showed off some fresh ink over the holiday weekend.

Did Justin Bieber act irresponsibly when posing in a new Twit pic with his father and girlfriend Selena Gomez?

Many believe so, and many are demanding an apology for the singer. Here's why:

As you can see in the photo, Bieber (on the set of Gomez's new movie, Feed the Dog) is holding a fake gun from the film up against a man's side.

In light of the recent Aurora, Colorado and Empire State Building shootings, some consider this to be a horrible, disrespectful misstep for the artist.

"Guns are on everyone's mind as a serious crisis in Canada and the United States. Everyone, that is, except maybe Justin Bieber," wrote a jornalist from Canada's Globe and Mail.

What do you think of the prop and the pose? Sound off now:

The X Factor kicks off Season 2 in just a few weeks, and the Fox competition is still without a host.

But it has hired at least one mentor to assist contestants with their songs and routines - and you may be familiar with his work: Justin Bieber!!!

Sources confirm to TMZ that Bieber will be one of four celebrity mentors brought in to help the judges with their teams. Look for him to be aligned with L.A. Reid and that panelist's contingent of hopefuls.

Rumors also state that Nick Jonas will work alongside Demi Lovato and her group, while it's unknown at the moment who will take sides with Simon Cowell and Britney Spears.

The X Factor, which returns on September 12, won't mark Bieber's only appeared on Fox this fall, either. He has booked a cameo on The Simpsons.

Justin Bieber is heading back to the television world. But we doubt he'll be gunned down in the street this time.

The singing sensation has booked a guest-starring role on The Simpsons, as producer Al Jean confirms to Entertainment Weekly that Bieber will portray himself in a 2013 episode titled "The Fabulous Faker Boy."

How and why, exactly, does the 18-year old show up in Springfield?

“He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won’t admit him,” the producer says, simply adding: “Draw your own conclusions.”

Jean emphasizes that the role is merely a "cameo," but does tell all who possess Bieber Fever: You "should watch every minute of the show, before and after he’s on.”

This animated smash kicks off its 24th season on September 30 and other celebrities who will lend voices to episodes include Edward Norton, Steve Carell, Zooey Deschanel, Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman.

Yes, Justin Bieber Tweets. A lot. And he's been known to post a picture or two dozen on Instagram.

But the singer actually values his privacy, he tells the September issue of Vibe, because "there are a lot of people in this world that aren’t good people."

"All they need to do is a little research," Bieber elaborates, touching on past incidents. "People hiding in garbage cans overnight to catch [pictures] of me. Crazy things happen. You can’t give out too much personal information.”

Despite his mammoth fame and success, Justin adds that he does all he can to remain grounded, even when he's breaking YouTube records and setting ridiculous goals no other artist could dare to match.

“In general, fame can tear you apart, so you can never really feel like you’re famous," he says. "When people start acting like they’re famous, that’s when they start losing it.”

Like when they just Tweet random bikini photos because they presume the public is dying for an updated beach body everyday?

Oh, Justin Bieber went there!

In an interview with Great Britain's Rollercoaster magazine, the formerly shaggy-haired singer took aim at British royalty and said of Prince William's scalp:

"I mean, there are things to prevent that nowadays... I don't know why he doesn't just get those things, those products. You just take Propecia and your hair grows back. Have you not got it over here?"

  • Prince William Hair Line

The response from our pals overseas? Not positive.

According to journalist Jessica Callancitizens (via The Huffington Post), residents "are viewing Justin Bieber's diss about Prince William's challenging hair problem in the same way you view an annoying fly buzzing around you. He needs to be swatted away... Will and Prince Harry may joke about William's thinning hair, but that doesn't mean a kid like Justin can come sauntering in and join in the joke."

In a previous interview, Bieber also insulted Canadian Aboriginals.

What do you make of his comments regarding William's hair?

What was intended to be a joke by Justin Bieber has landed the singer in a bit of hot water.

In an interview with Rolling Stone - inside the same issue that contains sex advice from the young star - Bieber is asked about his nationality and responds:

"I'm actually part Indian. I think Inuit or something? I'm enough percent that in Canada, I can get free gas."

Harmless, right? Not to everyone...

The Biebs on Stage

The Congress of Aboriginal Peoples has chimed and the group is unhappy with the implication behind Justin's words.

"These kinds of remarks are another example of what Aboriginal Peoples in Canada struggle with every day," says the organization in a statement. "These kinds of remarks are another example of what Aboriginal peoples in Canada struggle with every day. It promotes the misconception that we are somehow getting a free ride. This simply is not the case and we are concerned that many people may believe what he said."

Honestly, many people likely don't even understand what Bieber said.

Still, he clearly did offend some people. Should Justin apologize?

For Missy Franklin, it pays to win a Gold Medal.

Yes, that's literally true, based on the monetary award given to Olympic champions. But it's also true emotionally, as this 17-year old swimming star has found out.

The Colorado native has already received Twitter props from Justin Bieber, but the singer and his adorable brother have now taken it a congratulatory step further. Watch their video message to Franklin below, along with her reaction to it:

Franklin, who has earned four Gold Medals in London and says she'll soon attend a Bieber concert, said of her experience after finishing first in the 4X100-meter medley relay on Saturday:

"I am over the moon. I'm not even on Cloud 9, I'm on Cloud 568! It's just amazing."
