From a giant tub of crawfish to a standing ovation for all in attendance, it was a good night for Joshua Ledet on Wednesday.

The American Idol finalist first received a gift of those creatures from his friends in Louisiana, and then proceeded to gift viewers with a beautiful cover of Michael Bolton's "When a Man Loves a Woman."

"Mantasia" himself, Joshua Ledet, led off American Idol's Top 13 with a rendition of Stevie Wonder's "I Wish" that he said was "totally out of my comfort zone."

With a little help from a piano player with a gospel background similar to Joshua's, you wouldn't have known it Wednesday night. He did a nice job with it.

The bar is already set very high for Joshua Ledet.

This season 11 hopeful covered a song by one American Idol icon last night (Jennifer Hudson's "You Pulled Me Through") and was then referred to by Steve Tyler as "Mantasia," a clear reference to season four winner Fantasia Barrino.

American Idol has named its final 12 men on season 11.

Okay, yes, there will actually be 13 men, but if the show is keeping the final semifinalist secret until he performs on Tuesday night then he can blame producers for being left off this list.

It's a good thing Joshua Ledet got on that plane to Hollywood, isn't it? Who knows how far he'll go now.

This 19-year old from Louisiana - who started singing at the age of three in church, and who is a rumored member of the top 24 - told the American Idol judges last night that he nearly couldn't board his flight due to anxiety.
