As a fellow musician who has played with him, I can definitely see John Twiford going all the way to becoming the American Idol of 2009. It's not just vocal techniques, you can teach almost anyone how to sing on pitch or in rhythm, he has a way of making you believe whatever he says. Go for the top John!
